Hands-Free Unit
Please speak normally and clearly: Every digit of the telephone number must be
spoken individually, but without interspersing the digits with artificial pauses. The
systemwillworkbest,whenthetelephonenumberisspokeninblocksofthreeto
fivedigits.E.g.:Youenterthedigitblockbysaying“Zero-one-nine-zero”andaftera
short pause the hands free kit will repeat each digit and will then wait for you to
speakthenextdigitorblockofdigitsrequiredforthetelephonenumber.Shouldyou
enterthenumberbysaying“Zero-one-ninety”,thehandsfreekitwillnotrecognise
thiscommand.

General:
Your vehicle is equipped with the Toyota THF 30 universal car kit.
This gives you the option of making a phone call by dialling a
nameornumberofyourchoiceusingaspokenvoicecommand.
The THF 30 uses a universal central control unit, which means
only the phone cradle and not the complete car kit needs to be
changedwhenusinganotherphone.
To help you enjoy all the features of your new hands-free unit,
please read this owners manual carefully and keep it as a
referenceinyourvehicle.
If you have any questions concerning operation of the unit, which
are not answered in this manual, please contact your Toyota
dealer who will be happy to advise you and take note of your
experiencesandsuggestions.

VoiceDial control unit:
Note:A second incoming or outgoing call cannotbe connected withthese
keys,thismustbedonemanuallywiththeappropriatekeysonyourmobile
phone. With the telephone in stand-by mode, a simple press of the
VoiceDial-Key will activate the speech control system. You will hear a
shortcontrolsignalandthedialogwiththeVoiceDialkitcanbegin.
Somemobilephoneswillactivateadelayfunctionifthetelephonenumber
you are calling is engaged. If the “Redial” command is used during this
delay period, the hands free kit will verify this command with, “The
numberisdialled”.Howeverthiscommandwillnotbecarriedout.

Entering the PIN - number:
Some mobile telephones do not support the remote entry of the
PIN-number. Your car kit will alert you if this function is not
possible.In this case the PIN- numbershouldbe entered by hand
