C) pdate der Software
●Lesen Sie die der Firmware eigefügte
README Textdatei, und eachten Sie alle in
dieser Datei gege enen Hinweise.
●Stecken Sie den USB Stick in die USB Buchse
an der Rückseite des Music Player
(USB1 eim Music Player MkII und USB HDD
eim Music Player alanced).
●Schalten Sie den Music Player mit der ON
Taste an der Gerätefront aus und wieder ein,
drücken Sie dann gleich nach dem Einschalten
die |<< Taste am Gerät und halten Sie sie
gedrückt, is im Gerätedisplay das "Software
Update Menü" erscheint.
●Gehen Sie mit den Cursortasten zur Zeile
PDATE und drücken Sie OK. Der Fokus
springt nun nach rechts.
●Wählen Sie nun mit den Cursor Tasten < und >
die Einstellung „us “ und estätigen Sie mit
OK. Die Anzeige „start USB Upd“ sollte nun in
Groß uchsta en erscheinen. Starten Sie den
Updatevorgang nun mit zweimaligem Druck auf
die OK Taste.
●Der aktuelle Fortschritt des Updatevorgang
kann an 5 LEDs a gelesen werden. Nachdem
der Steuerungsprozessor vollständig upgedatet
wurde, wird der weitere Updateverlauf als Text
im Display angezeigt. (Dauer bis zu 9 min).
A C H T N G:
Schalten Sie den Player bitte keinesfalls
während der Programmierung aus !!!
●Nach erfolgreichem A schluss des Pro-
grammiervorgangs zeigt der Player für ca. 5s
„pdate finished“ an und schaltet danach a .
Sollte diese Meldung nicht erscheinen, ist das
Update nicht vollständig durchgelaufen und
sollte wiederholt werden !
●Als letzter Schritt sollte das Gerät für ca. 30
Sekunden vom Stromnetz getrennt werden.
A C H T N G:
Sollte ein Fehler bei dem Programmiervorgang
auftreten (alle Status LEDs blinken oder
Fehlermeldung auf dem Gerätedisplay),
schalten Sie den Music Player mit
eingestecktem SB Stick am
Netzhauptschalter aus und wieder ein. Soweit
die Firmware noch vollständig im Gerät
vorhanden ist, startet das Gerät neu. Gehen
Sie dann bitte erneut wie unter C beschrieben
vor.
Sollte die Firmware bereits teilweise gelöscht
sein, ist keine Bedienung mehr möglich. Die
Programmierung wird dann nach dem
Einschalten ohne Bedienung erneut gestartet.
C) pdate of the Firmware
●Read the README Textfile coming with the
new firmware and follow the instructions given
in this file.
●Insert your USB memory stick into the USB
connector of the Music Player. (USB 1 socket
for the Music Player MkII and the USB HDD
socket for the Music Player alanced)
●Switch the Music Player OFF and ON again
with the ON utton on the front panel.
●Immediately after power ON, press the |<<
utton on the front panel and keep it pressed
until the Software Update Menu" appears on
the display of the player.
●navigate to the line PDATE and press OK.
The focus will now jump to the right side of the
display.
●Now choose „us “ with the < and > cursor
uttons and press OK. The display should now
show „start USB Upd“ in capital letters. Please
press again the OK utton twice for starting the
update process.
●The update process can take up to 9 min and
will e indicated e 5 status LEDs. If the
update of the main processor is finished, the
following update process is displayed on the
screen. (please see ta 1)
A T T E N T I O N:
Please never switch off the device while
programming is in progress !!!
●After programming has een finished
successfully the player shows for 5s “ pdate
finished” on the display and then it powers
down. If this message does not appear the
update has not een finished successfully and
should e restarted.
●At last the device should e disconnected from
power supply for a out 30 seconds.
ATTENTION:
If an programming error occurs (all LEDs are
flashing or an error message occurs on the
display) please switch the Music Player with
his main power switch off and on again (let the
SB stick connected)
If the firmware has not been erased by the
update process the Music Player will start
again. Please repeat the update process from
step C.
If the main processor firmware has been
already deleted by the update process, user
control is no longer possible. In this case the
update process will be restarted automatically.
