Coee maker
Dear customer,
We are delighted that you have chosen this coee machine. With your new
coee machine, you can grind your fresh coee beans in the integrated coee
mill. We hope you have a lot of fun with your new coee machine.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the device for the rst time, please read the instructions
carefully and store them in a safe place. If the device is given to
someone else, it should always be accompanied by these instructions.
The manufacturer and importer will not be hold responsible if the
directions in these instructions are not observed!
Intended use
• This device is intended for preparing coee and grinding coee beans.
• Use the coee mill only to grind coee beans. The device is not
intended for grinding food other than coee.
• The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
• This device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial
applications.
• The device must only be used as described in the operating
instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
Danger of Injury
• Please keep the packaging and the device out of the reach of children
and pets.
• This device should not be used by people (including children) with
impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate
experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received
instructions from such a person on how to use the device.
• Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play
with the device.
• Danger of scalding! Hot steam will emerge from the ventilation
opening during use. Avoid coming into contact with hot steam.
• Danger of burns! Parts of the product (e. g. hotplate and glass pot) will
become very hot during use. Avoid coming into contact with hot parts
of the device.
HEALTHSPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Damage to health as a result of contamination! Clean the device before
using it for the rst time. It is possible that manufacturing residues
may still be adhering to the surfaces. It is essential that you follow the
cleaning instructions as explained in the "Care and Descaling" chapter.
Setup and connection
• Use only indoors, in dry areas and not near a sink, for example.
• Always place the device on a dry, level, rm and heat-resistant surface.
• Maintain a sucient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens
in order not to damage the device.
• The device should only be connected to a properly installed socket
with earthing contacts.
• The socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The mains
voltage must be the same as that stated in the technical data of the
device. Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the
same as that of the device.
• Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the connected mains
cable. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen
counters. Others may become caught and pull the device down.
• Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or
bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.

USE
• Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. If the
device, lead or plug shows visible signs of damage, the device must not be
used. Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or has been fallen.
• If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In the event
of damage, please contact our customer service department.
• Remove the mains plug from the mains socket
– if you are not going to use the device over a longer period of time
– if a fault occurs during operation
– before a thunderstorm
– before you clean it.
• When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull
the plug and not the cable.
• Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Ensure that the
device, lead or plug do not fall into water or become wet. Should the
device fall into water, switch o the power supply immediately.
• Please make sure that no water gets into the grinding mechanism of
the device.
• Never touch the device, cable or plug with wet hands.
• Do not leave the device unattended when it is switched on.
• Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
• To make coee, use only fresh drinking water at room temperature.
• Never place the glass pot on a hot stovetop or other hot surfaces.
• Do not use the coee machine without water. Always ll the water
reservoir with at least two cups of water.
• Never use the device when the glass pot is damaged. Only use the
glass pot with this device.
• The prepared coee is hot; be careful when handling hot liquids.
• Never reach into the blades of the grinding mechanism – they are sharp!
• Never ll water into a machine that is already on. In the worst case, you
could scald yourself on a sudden burst of steam.
• The hotplate gets very hot. Do not touch it or place objects on it.
• Only use the accessories supplied or accessories expressly
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Let the device cool down for at least 10 minutes after each use before
adding fresh coee.
• When the device is on, the hotplate switches o automatically after
two hours and remains very hot in this period.
• Do not place the device below kitchen wall units or similar cupboards.
The rising steam could cause damage to them!
• Never ll the hot glass pot with ice cold water.

CONTROL PANEL
1. Grind O: button to switch o the grinding mechanism.
2. On/O: button to switch the device on and o.
3. Minute: button to set the minutes of the clock.
4. Program: button for setting the timer.
5. Hour: button to set the hours of the clock.
6. 2–12 Cups: button to set the number of cups you would like to brew.
7. Coee strength: button to set the coee strength.
8. Display (The display light automatically switches o after approx. 1
minute. You can activate it again by pressing any button.)
DISPLAY
1. Shows the number of cups you would like to brew (2–12 Cups button).
2. Shows the preset coee strength (Coee strength button).
3. Error message (see the "Troubleshooting" chapter)
4. Shows, together with the word "FILTER", that the water lter needs to
be exchanged.
5. Shows the time.

BEFORE INITIAL USE
Before you can use the device, you must:
• unpack the items supplied,
• clean the device.
UNPACKING
PLEASE NOTE!
• Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is
a danger of suocation!
• Unpack all parts and check the scope of supply for completeness;
also check for transport damage. If you nd any damage to the
components, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service
department.
CLEANING
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These
could damage the surface.
1. Press the button for unlocking the lter compartment on the side of
the device.
2. Remove the lter compartment insert together with the permanent lter.
3. Now clean the lter compartment insert and permanent lter with hot
water and a little detergent if necessary.
4. Then dry all parts thoroughly and place them in the coee machine
again.
5. We recommend that, prior to rst use, you operate the device three
times with just water (no coee) to ush through all the lines etc.
Please ensure that you have switched on the Grind O function if you
want to ush the device with water. Before rst using the device, also
observe the notices in the "Use" chapter.
USE
PLEASE NOTE!
• The device has no automatic water-dosing function. Therefore, ll only
as much water as you need into the water reservoir.
• Make sure that the lter cover is placed on correctly as otherwise the
device will not start the brewing procedure!
• Make sure that the maximum marking of the water level indication
is not exceeded when you pour water into the water reservoir of the
device. Take care when pouring in water: To make it impossible to
overll the water reservoir, there is an opening on the back of the
water reservoir from which excess water can escape.
Commissioning and making Basic Settings
1. Place the device on a level, rm and heat-resistant surface.
2. Connect the device to a mains socket that has been properly installed.
3. The preset time "12:00" will appear on the display.
4. Set the time using the Hour and Minute buttons.

BREWING COFFEE WITH FRESHLY GROUND BEANS
1. Open the water reservoir lid.
2. Pour the desired amount of water into the water reservoir. On the
water level indication, you can see how many cups of water you have
already poured into the water reservoir. Always ll the water reservoir
with at least two up to a maximum of 12 cups of water. Use the glass jar
to ll the water reservoir with water.
3. Then close the water reservoir lid.
4. Open the lter compartment by pressing the unlocking button on the
side of the device.
5. Place the lter compartment insert, the permanent lter and the lter
compartment cover into the lter compartment. Make sure that all
parts are placed in correctly as otherwise the coee machine will not
start the brewing procedure.
6. Close the lter compartment.
7. NOTE, before you start making coee check if the permanent lter is empty.
8. Fill coee beans into the grinding mechanism of the coee machine.
Then place the lid of the grinding mechanism back on.
9. Place the glass pot on the hotplate.
10. Use the 2–12 Cups button to set the number of cups you would like to brew.
11. You can press the Coee strength button to set the coee strength.
You have a choice of three levels which are shown to you on the
display as follows:
The level mild represents a mild coee avour, the level medium
represents a medium coee avour and the level strong represents an
aromatically strong coee avour.
12. Press the On/O button to switch on the device. The On/O button
lights up.
13. As soon as you have pressed the On/O button, the grinding
procedure begins. After the grinding procedure, the brewing
procedure starts immediately. The grinding process can be noisy, this
sound is normal for such devices.
14. After the brewing procedure, you can take the glass pot from the
hotplate and serve the coee.
15. After the brewing procedure, the hotplate remains on for another two
hours and then switches o automatically.
16. If you would like to turn o the coee machine before the two hours
are up, press the On/O button.
17. Clean the device after use as described in the "Care and Descaling" chapter.
Tip: The coee machine has a non-drip valve. You can also take the
glass pot from the hotplate during the brewing procedure and pour
yourself a cup of coee. But be careful: You should place the glass pot
back on the hotplate within 20 seconds to prevent the coee lter from
overowing with water!
Brewing coee with Powder coee
1. Open the water reservoir lid.
2. Pour the desired amount of water into the water reservoir. On the
water level indication, you can see how many cups of water you have
already lled in the water reservoir. Always ll the water reservoir with
at least two up to a maximum of 12 cups of water. Use the glass jar to
ll the water reservoir with water.
3. Then close the water reservoir lid.
4. Open the lter compartment by pressing the unlocking button on the
side of the device.
5. Place the lter compartment insert and the permanent lter into the
lter compartment. Make sure that all parts are placed in correctly as
otherwise the coee machine will not start the brewing procedure.

6. Pour the coee powder into the permanent lter.
7. Insert the lter compartment cover into the lter compartment and
close the lter compartment.
8. Place the glass pot on the hotplate.
9. Press the Grind O button to switch o the grinding mechanism of
the coee machine.The Grind O button lights up.
10. Press the On/O button to switch the device on. The On/O button
lights up.
11. As soon as you have pressed the On/O button, the brewing
procedure begins.
12. After the brewing procedure, you can take the glass pot from the
hotplate and serve the coee.
13. After the brewing procedure, the hotplate remains on for another two
hours and then switches o automatically.
14. If you would like to turn o the coee machine before the two hours
have passed, press the On/O button.
15. Clean the device after use as described in the "Care and Descaling"
chapter. The coee machine has a non-drip valve. You can also take the
glass pot from the hotplate during the brewing procedure and pour
yourself a cup of coee. But be careful: You should place the glass pot
back on the hotplate within 20 seconds to prevent the coee lter from
overowing with water!
Timer Function
The coee machine has an automatic coee brewing function. You can
select a starting time at which the coee machine automatically starts the
brewing procedure. To do so, take the following steps.
1. Fill the coee machine as described in the "Brewing Coee with Freshly
Ground Beans" and "Brewing Coee with Powder Coee" sections
according to whether you would like to brew coee with freshly
ground beans or with powder coee.
2. You should now set the starting time at which the coee machine
automatically starts the brewing procedure by pressing the Program
button for 3 seconds until the Program button ashes. Now set the
automatic starting time using the Hour and Minute buttons.
3. Press the Program button again to conrm your entry. The Program
button will now light up without ashing.
4. The current time then appears on the display again.
5. The brewing or grinding procedure now starts at the set time.
Tip: You can also start the grinding or brewing procedure at any time
before the set starting time. To do this, press the Program button once
to switch of the timer and then press the On/O button to start the
grinding or brewing procedure manually.
6. After the brewing procedure, you can take the glass pot from the
hotplate and serve the coee.
7. After the brewing procedure, the hotplate remains on for another two
hours and then switches o automatically.
8. If you would like to turn o the coee machine before the two hours
have passed, press the On/O button.
9. Clean the device after use as described in the "Care and Descaling"
chapter.
CHANGING WATER FILTER
To produce a more aromatic coee avour, the device has a water lter
which is inserted in the water reservoir. If the symbol and the word
"FILTER" are shown on the display, the water lter should be replaced.
1. Open the water reservoir lid and pull out the water lter by its bracket.
2. Open the lower part of the water lter bracket, take out the water lter
and dispose of it.

3. Insert a new water lter and then close the water lter bracket again.
4. Place the water lter bracket back into the water reservoir. Make sure
that the water lter is seated correctly in the slot in the water reservoir.
5. To delete the symbol on the display, press the Coee Strength
button and the 2–12 Cups button simultaneously.
Tip: The absence of a water lter does not stop the device from working
properly.
CARE AND DESCALING
PLEASE NOTE!
• The hotplate is very hot after use! Let it cool down rst before cleaning it.
• Never immerse the device, the cable or the plug in water.
• Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device.
These could damage the surface.
1. Clean the coee mill using the cleaning brush.
2. Adjust the screw at the opening for cleaning the coee mill with the shaft
end of the cleaning brush to the "Open" symbol . The cover will open up
and you can then remove any excess coee powder with the cleaning brush.
3. Then close the cover again by pressing down on the cover and
adjusting the screw on the opening for cleaning the coee mill with
the shaft end of the cleaning brush to the "Closed" symbol .
4. Then press the unlocking button on the side of the device and open
the lter compartment.
5. Remove the lter cover, take out the permanent lter and dispose of
the coee powder.
6. Clean the lter cover, the permanent lter and the lter compartment
insert with hot water and a little detergent if necessary.
7. Then dry all parts thoroughly and place them in the coee machine again.
8. If necessary, clean the coee machine and hotplate with a damp cloth
and then with a dry one.
DESCALING
If the water only runs very slowly through the device or the device is
louder than usual during the brewing procedure, you should descale it.
1. Pour the mixture consisting of water and descaling agent into the water
reservoir and switch on the device. Pay attention to the directions for use
of the descaling agent in regard to the ratio of water to descaling agent.
2. Let the mixture run through the machine completely. Repeat this
procedure if the water still runs through slowly.
3. After descaling, let water (without coee) run through the device at
least three times to ush the lines etc.
4. Please ensure that you have switched on the Grind O function if you
want to ush the device with water or descale it.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device should stop working properly, check whether you are able to
correct the problem yourself. Do not try to repair a faulty device yourself!

Pull the plug out of the socket to reset all of the settings
you have made. Check whether the lter compartment
insert, the permanent lter are positioned correctly,
whether the cover for cleaning the coee mill is closed
correctly and then try to start the brewing procedure
again.

• By executing repairs the original warranty period of 2 years will not
be extended, nor the right to a complied new warranty. This warranty
is only legal on European soil. This warranty does not overrule the
European directive 1944/44CE.
• Always keep your receipt, without this receipt you can not claim any
form of warranty whatsoever.
• Damage caused by not following the instruction manual will lead to a void
of warranty, if this results in consequential damages Tristar will not be liable.
• Tristar will not be liable for material damage or personal injury caused
by improper use or if the safety instructions are not properly executed.
• Cleaning, as mentioned in this manual, is the only necessary
maintenance for this appliance.
• When the appliance should be repaired, make sure that this will be
performed by an authorized company.
• This appliance may not be amended or changed.
• If problems arise during the 2 years from the date of purchase, which
are covered by the factory warranty, you can go back to the point of
purchase to replace it for a new one.
• For questions or compliances please contact your retailer “point of
purchase.”
• This appliance is covered with a 24 month guarantee starting on the
date of purchase (receipt).
• Only material or manufacturing defects are included in this warranty.
• If you wish to make a claim please return the entire machine in the
original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
• Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of
the whole appliance. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken
glass or breakage of plastic parts are always subject to a charge.
• Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing, as well as cleaning,
maintenance or the replacement of these parts are not covered by the
guarantee and hence are to be paid!
• The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
• After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the
competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing
costs.
Warranty Terms
The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects and damage
caused by improper handling or unauthorised attempts to repair. The
same applies for normal wear.

koemolen. Wij wensen u veel plezier met uw nieuwe koe apparaat.
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Gelieve vóór het eerste gebruik van het apparaat de handleiding
zorgvuldig door te lezen en deze goed te bewaren. Wanneer u het
apparaat aan iemand anders geeft, moet tevens deze handleiding worden
overhandigd. Fabrikant en importeur aanvaarden geen aansprakelijkheid,
wanneer de informatie in deze handleiding niet in acht wordt genomen!
Doelmatig gebruik
• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het zetten van koe en het malen van
koebonen.
• Gebruik de koemolen alleen voor het malen van koebonen. Het apparaat
is niet bedoeld om levensmiddelen anders dan koe mee te malen.
• Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om in combinatie met een externe
tijdschakelaar of een apart afstandsbedieningssysteem te worden gebruikt.
• Het apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor particulier gebruik, niet voor
commerciële doeleinden.

GEZONDHEIDSSPECIFIEKE
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Gezondheidsschade door verontreiniging! Reinig het apparaat vóór
het eerste gebruik. Er kunnen mogelijkerwijs productieresten zijn
achtergebleven. Neem hierbij beslist de reinigingsinstructies in het
hoofdstuk ‘Onderhoud en ontkalken’ in acht.
Plaatsen en aansluiten
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen binnenshuis, in droge ruimtes en niet in de
nabijheid van bijvoorbeeld een spoelbak.
• Zet het apparaat altijd op een droge, vlakke, stevige ondergrond die
ongevoelig is voor warmte.
• Houd voldoende afstand tot warmtebronnen zoals kookplaten of
kachels, om schade aan het apparaat te voorkomen.
• Sluit het apparaat uitsluitend aan op een contactdoos met
aardingscontacten die volgens de voorschriften is geïnstalleerd. Het
stopcontact moet ook na het aansluiten goed toegankelijk zijn. De
netspanning moet overeenstemmen met de technische gegevens van

het apparaat. Gebruik alleen goedgekeurde verlengsnoeren, waarvan
de technische gegevens overeenstemmen met die van het apparaat.
• Let erop, dat niemand over het aangesloten stroomsnoer kan
struikelen. Laat het snoer niet over de rand van tafels of aanrechten
hangen. Er zou iemand achter kunnen blijven hangen en het apparaat
naar beneden kunnen trekken.
• Leg het snoer zo, dat het niet bekneld zit of geknikt wordt en niet met
hete oppervlakken in aanraking komt.
GEBRUIK
• Controleer het apparaat op beschadigingen, elke keer voordat u het
in gebruik neemt. Wanneer het apparaat, het snoer of de stekker
zichtbare schade vertoont, mag het apparaat niet worden gebruikt.
Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer het niet goed functioneert of is
gevallen.
• Wanneer het apparaat defect is, probeer het dan niet zelf te repareren.
Neem in geval van schade contact op met de klantenservice.
• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact,
– wanneer u het apparaat gedurende een langere periode niet gebruikt,
– wanneer tijdens het gebruik een storing optreedt,
– vóór een onweersbui,
– voordat u het reinigt.
• Trek, als u het netsnoer uit het stopcontact wilt trekken, altijd aan de
stekker en nooit aan het snoer.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit in water of andere vloeistoen! Zorg
ervoor, dat het apparaat, het snoer of de stekker niet in het water
kunnen vallen of nat kunnen worden. Als het apparaat in het water
valt, onderbreekt u meteen de stroomtoevoer.
• Let erop dat er geen water in het maalmechanisme van het apparaat
kan komen.
• Raak het apparaat, het snoer of de stekker nooit aan met vochtige handen.
• Laat het apparaat niet zonder toezicht ingeschakeld.
• Laat het apparaat niet vallen en stel het niet bloot aan sterke schokken.
• Gebruik voor het zetten van koe altijd slechts vers drinkwater op
kamertemperatuur.
• Zet de glazen kan nooit op een hete kookplaat of andere hete
ondergronden.
• Gebruik het koezetapparaat niet zonder water. Vul de watertank
altijd met minimaal twee kopjes water.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit, wanneer de glazen kan beschadigingen
vertoont. Gebruik de glazen kan alleen maar in combinatie met dit
apparaat.
• De gezette koe is heet, wees daarom voorzichtig tijdens de omgang
met hete vloeistoen.
• Grijp niet in de messen van het maalmechanisme – deze zijn scherp!
• Vul geen water in een reeds ingeschakeld apparaat. U zou u – in het
ongunstigste geval – door een plotseling optredende stoomstoot
kunnen verbranden.
• De warmhoudplaat wordt zeer heet. Raak deze niet aan en leg er geen
voorwerpen op.
• Gebruik uitsluitend toebehoren die bij de leveringsomvang zijn
inbegrepen of uitdrukkelijk door de fabrikant worden aanbevolen.
• Laat het apparaat na elk gebruik minimaal 10 minuten afkoelen,
voordat u nieuwe koe gaat zetten.
• Bij een ingeschakeld apparaat schakelt de warmhoudplaat na 2 uur
automatisch uit en blijft gedurende die tijd zeer heet.
• Zet het apparaat niet onder bovenste keukenkastjes en dergelijke.
Door opstijgende damp zou dit tot schade kunnen leiden!

VÓÓR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
Voordat u het apparaat kunt gebruiken moet u:
• het apparaat uitpakken,
• het apparaat reinigen.
UITPAKKEN
LET OP!
• Houd kinderen en dieren uit de buurt van het verpakkingsmateriaal.
Er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar! Pak alle onderdelen uit en kijk of de
levering volledig is en controleer op transportschade. Wanneer de
onderdelen zijn beschadigd, gebruik ze dan niet (!), maar neem contact
op met onze klantenservice.
REINIGEN
LET OP!
Gebruik voor het reinigen geen bijtende of schurende reinigingsmiddelen.
Deze zouden het oppervlak kunnen beschadigen!
1. Druk op de ontgrendelingsknop voor de lterhouder aan de zijkant
van het apparaat.
2. Neem het inzetstuk met lterhouder inclusief permanent lter uit.
3. Reinig nu het inzetstuk met lterhouder en permanent lter met warm
water en eventueel een beetje afwasmiddel.
4. Droog vervolgens alle onderdelen goed af en plaats deze weer in het
koezetapparaat.
5. Wij raden u aan om voor het eerste gebruik het apparaat drie keer
alleen met water te laten lopen (zonder koe), om de leidingen
etc. door te spoelen. Let erop, dat u de Grind O functie hebt
ingeschakeld, wanneer u het apparaat met water doorspoelt. Let voor
ingebruikneming ook op de aanwijzingen in het hoofdstuk ‘Gebruik’.

GEBRUIK
LET OP!
• Het apparaat beschikt niet over een automatische waterdosering. Vul
daarom alleen maar zoveel water in de tank als u nodig heeft.
• Let erop, dat de lterafdekking correct is geplaatst, het apparaat start
anders niet met koezetten!
• Let erop, dat u de maximale markering van de waterstandindicator niet
overschrijdt, wanneer u water vult in de watertank van het apparaat.
Pas op bij het vullen met water: om ervoor te zorgen dat de watertank
niet te vol wordt gevuld, bevindt zich aan de achterzijde van de
watertank een opening, waaruit overtollig water wegloopt!
Inbedrijfneming en basisinstellingen uitvoeren
1. Zet het apparaat op een vlakke, vaste ondergrond die ongevoelig is
voor warmte.
2. Sluit het apparaat aan op een contactdoos die volgens de voorschriften
is geïnstalleerd.
3. In de display verschijnt de vooraf ingestelde tijd ‘12:00’.
4. Stel de tijd in met de knoppen Hour en Minute.
KOFFIEZETTEN MET VERSGEMALEN BONEN
1. Open de watertankdeksel.
2. Vul de gewenste hoeveelheid water in de watertank. Aan de hand van
de waterstandindicator kunt u aezen, hoeveel koppen water u al in
de watertank hebt gevuld. Vul de watertank altijd met minimaal 2 tot
maximaal 12 kopjes water. Gebruik voor het vullen de koekan.
3. Sluit vervolgens de watertankafdekking.
4. Open de lterhouder, door te drukken op de ontgrendelingsknop aan
de zijkant van het apparaat.
5. Plaats het inzetstuk met lterhouder, het permanente lter en de
lterhouderafdekking in de lterhouder. Let erop, dat alle onderdelen
correct zijn geplaatst, het apparaat start anders niet met koezetten.
6. Sluit de lterhouder.
7. Let op: Controleer altijd of het permanente lter leeg is voordat u
begint met koezetten
8. Vul het maalmechanisme van het koezetapparaat met koebonen.
Plaats vervolgens het deksel van het maalmechanisme weer terug.
9. Plaats de glazen kan op de warmhoudplaat.
10. Stel met behulp van de knop 2–12 Cups het aantal kopjes koe in dat
u wilt zetten.
11. Met behulp van de knop Coee Strength stelt u de sterkte van de
koe in. Er staan drie niveaus tot uw beschikking, die u als volgt in de
display te zien krijgt:
Het niveau mild staat voor mild koegenot, het niveau medium staat
voor middelsterk koegenot en het niveau sterk staat voor aromatisch
sterk koegenot.
12. Druk op de On/O-knop, om het apparaat in te schakelen. De On/O-
knop gaat branden.
13. Zodra u op de On/O-knop hebt gedrukt, begint het maalproces.
Na het maalproces wordt automatisch het koezetten gestart. Het
maalproces kan gehorig zijn, dit geluid is normaal bij dergelijke
apparaten.
14. Na het zetten kunt u de glazen kan van de warmhoudplaat halen en de
koe serveren.
15. Na het zetten blijft de warmhoudplaat nog 2 uren ingeschakeld
waarna deze dan automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld.

16. Wanneer u het koezetapparaat voor het aopen van de 2 uur wilt
uitschakelen, drukt u op de On/O-knop.
17. Reinig het apparaat na gebruik zoals staat beschreven in het hoofdstuk
‘Onderhoud en ontkalken’.
Tip: Het koezetapparaat beschikt over een antidrupventiel. U kunt
ook tijdens het koezetten de glazen kan van de warmhoudplaat
nemen en een kopje koe inschenken. Echter, let op: u moet de glazen
kan weer binnen 20 seconden op de warmhoudplaat plaatsen, om
overlopen van het koelter met water te voorkomen!
Koe zetten met poederkoe
1. Open de watertankdeksel.
2. Vul de gewenste hoeveelheid water in de watertank. Aan de hand van
de waterstandindicator kunt u aezen, hoeveel koppen water u al in
de watertank hebt gevuld. Vul de watertank altijd met minimaal 2 tot
maximaal 12 kopjes water. Gebruik hiervoor de glazen kan.
3. Sluit vervolgens de watertankdeksel.
4. Open de lterhouder, door te drukken op de ontgrendelingsknop aan
de zijkant van het apparaat.
5. Plaats het inzetstuk met lterhouder en het permanente lter in de
lterhouder. Let erop, dat alle onderdelen correct zijn geplaatst, het
koezetapparaat start anders niet met koezetten.
6. Vul de permanente lter met poederkoe.
7. Plaats de lterafdekking in de lterhouder en sluit de lterhouder.
8. Plaats de glazen kan op de warmhoudplaat.
9. Druk op de Grind O-knop, om het maalmechanisme van de
koemolen uit te schakelen. De Grind O-knop gaat branden.
10. Druk op de On/O-knop, om het apparaat in te schakelen. De On/O-
knop gaat branden.
11. Zodra u op de On/O-knop hebt gedrukt, begint het koezetten.
12. Na het zetten kunt u de glazen kan van de warmhoudplaat halen en de
koe serveren.
13. Na het zetten blijft de warmhoudplaat nog 2 uren ingeschakeld
waarna deze dan automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld.
14. Wanneer u het koezetapparaat voor het aopen van de 2 uur wilt
uitschakelen, drukt u op de On/O-knop.
15. Reinig het apparaat na gebruik zoals staat beschreven in het hoofdstuk
‘Onderhoud en ontkalken’. Het koezetapparaat beschikt over een
antidrupventiel. U kunt ook tijdens het koezetten de glazen kan
van de warmhoudplaat nemen en een kopje koe inschenken.
Echter, let op: u moet de glazen kan weer binnen 20 seconden op de
warmhoudplaat plaatsen, om overlopen van het koelter met water
te voorkomen!
Timerfunctie
Het koezetapparaat beschikt over een automatische functie voor
koezetten. U kunt een starttijd kiezen, waarop het koezetapparaat
automatisch met koezetten begint. Volg daartoe de volgende stappen.
1. Vul het koezetapparaat zoals staat beschreven in de hoofdstukken
‘koezetten met versgemalen bonen’ resp. ‘koezetten met
poederkoe’, afhankelijk van of u koe uit versgemalen bonen of uit
poederkoe wilt zetten.
2. Stel nu de automatische starttijd in, door de Program-knop 3
seconden ingedrukt te houden, tot de Program-knop knippert. Stel nu
de automatische starttijd in met de knoppen Hour en Minute.
3. Druk nogmaals op de Program-knop, om de invoer te bevestigen. De
Program-knop brandt nu, zonder te knipperen.
4. In de display wordt vervolgens weer de actuele tijd weergegeven.
5. Het koezetten resp. het maalproces start nu op de ingestelde tijd.
Tip: U kunt het maalproces resp. het koezetten ook op elk moment
vóór de ingestelde starttijd laten beginnen. Druk daartoe één maal
op de Program-knop, om de timer uit te schakelen en druk daarna op
de On/O-knop, om vervolgens het maalproces resp. het koezetten
handmatig te starten.

koe serveren.

WATERFILTER VERWISSELEN
Voor een aromatischer koegenot beschikt het apparaat over een
waterlter, dat zich in de watertank bevindt. Wanneer in de display het
-symbool tezamen met het woord ‘FILTER’ wordt weergegeven, moet
de waterlter worden verwisseld.
1. Open de watertankdeksel en trek de waterlter aan zijn houder eruit.
2. Open het onderste gedeelte van de houder van de waterlter, neem de
waterlter eruit en gooi deze weg.
3. Plaats een nieuwe waterlter en sluit de houder van de waterlter
weer.
4. Plaats de houder van de waterlter weer in de watertank. Let erop, dat
de waterlter correct in de uitsparing in de watertank zit.
5. Om het -symbool weer uit de display te wissen, drukt u gelijktijdig
op de knop Coee Strength en de knop 2–12 Cups. Het ontbreken
van een waterlter vormt geen probleem voor de werking van het
apparaat.
ONDERHOUD EN ONTKALKEN
LET OP!
• De warmhoudplaat is na gebruik zeer heet! Laat deze eerst afkoelen,
voordat u hem reinigt.
• Dompel het apparaat, het netsnoer of de stekker nooit in water.
• Gebruik voor het reinigen geen bijtende of schurende
reinigingsmiddelen. Deze zouden het oppervlak kunnen beschadigen.
1. Reinig de koemolen met behulp van de reinigingsborstel.
2. Zet de schroef bij de opening voor het reinigen van de koemolen
met het steeluiteinde van de reinigingsborstel op het ‘Geopend’-
symbool . De afdekking wordt geopend en u kunt overtollig
koepoeder met de reinigingsborstel verwijderen.
3. Sluit de afdekking vervolgens weer, door het deksel dicht te drukken
en de schroef bij de opening voor het reinigen van de koemolen met
het steeluiteinde van de reinigingsborstel op het ‘Gesloten’-symbool
te zetten.
4. Druk vervolgens op de ontgrendelingsknop aan de zijkant van het
apparaat en open de lterhouder.
5. Verwijder de lterafdekking, haal de permanente lter eruit en
verwijder het overtollige koepoeder.
6. Reinig de lterafdekking, de permanente lter en het inzetstuk met
lterhouder met warm water en eventueel een beetje afwasmiddel.
7. Droog vervolgens alle onderdelen goed af en plaats deze weer in het
koezetapparaat.
8. Neem het koezetapparaat en de warmhoudplaat indien nodig af met
een vochtige doek en droog deze met een droge doek na.

ONTKALKEN
Wanneer het water alleen nog maar zeer langzaam door het apparaat
loopt of het apparaat tijdens het koezetten meer geluid maakt dan
normaal, moet u het apparaat ontkalken.
1. Vul het mengsel bestaande uit water en ontkalkingsmiddel in de
watertank en schakel het apparaat in. Wat betreft de verhouding van
het water tot het ontkalkingsmiddel dient u de gebruiksaanwijzing op
te volgen van het ontkalkingsmiddel.
2. Laat het mengsel volledig doorlopen. Herhaal eventueel dit proces,
wanneer het water nog steeds langzaam doorloopt.
3. Na het ontkalken minimaal driemaal water (zonder koe) door het
apparaat laten lopen, om de leidingen etc. door te spoelen.
4. Let erop, dat u de Grind O functie hebt ingeschakeld, wanneer u het
apparaat met water doorspoelt of het ontkalkt.
STORINGEN VERHELPEN
Wanneer het apparaat niet naar behoren functioneert, gelieve dan eerst
na te gaan of u een probleem zelf kunt verhelpen. Probeer niet om een
defect apparaat zelf te repareren!

die hieruit ontstaat is Tristar niet aansprakelijk.
• Voor materiële schade of persoonlijk letsel veroorzaakt
door ondeskundig gebruik of het niet opvolgen van de
veiligheidsvoorschriften is Tristar niet aansprakelijk. In dergelijke
gevallen vervalt elke aanspraak op garantie.
• Anders dan het schoonmaken, zoals genoemd in deze handleiding, is
aan dit apparaat geen onderhoud noodzakelijk.
• Indien er reparaties moeten worden uitgevoerd, mag dit uitsluitend
door een geautoriseerd bedrijf gebeuren.
• Het product mag niet worden gewijzigd of veranderd.
• Indien zich problemen zouden voordoen gedurende 2 jaar na
aankoopdatum, welke gedekt zijn door de fabrieksgarantie, kunt u het

u contact opnemen met onze serviceafdeling. Afgebroken glazen/
plastic onderdelen of accessoires vallen niet onder de garantie en
zullen dus altijd tegen een vergoeding kunnen worden vervangen.
• Defecten aan hulpstukken of aan de slijtende onderdelen, alsmede
reiniging, onderhoud of de vervanging van slijtende delen vallen niet
onder de garantie en zullen dus in rekening worden gebracht!
• De garantie vervalt in geval van ongeoorloofde manipulatie.
• Na het verstrijken van de garantie kunnen reparaties worden
uitgevoerd door de bevoegde dealer of reparatieservice tegen de
betaling van de daaruit voortvloeiende kosten.
AANWIJZINGEN TER BESCHERMING VAN
HET MILIEU
Dit product mag aan het einde van zijn levensduur niet bij
het normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar dient
bij een speciaal inzamelpunt voor het hergebruik van elektrische en
elektronische apparaten te worden aangeboden. Het symbool op artikel,
gebruiksaanwijzing en verpakking attendeert u hierop. De gebruikte
