athletes

The
TRUE
HRC
allows
youtodoa
completely
hands-freeheartratecontrolledworkout.
By
training
ata
specifictargetheartrate,
youcan
exercise
ata
moreefficient
cardiovascular
level.
The
TRUE
HRC
system
is
uniquebecause
youcan
enter
thekey
parameter
of
your
workout
and
targetheartrateprior
tothe
beginning
of
your
HRC
workout.
As
you
approachyourtargetheartrate,
the
productsoftwaretakesover
and
changes
workload
to
keep
you
nearyourtargetheartrate.Thisgives
youa
completely
"hands-free"workout.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Before
selecting
a
targetheartratecontrolworkout,
itis
important
to
use
the
product
for
severalworkouts
in
the
manualmodewhile
monitoring
your
heart
rate.
You
can
monitoryourheartrateduringworkouts
by
wearing
the
heartrate
transmitter
(or
holding
contactpads
on
handlebars
on600
models).
Your
heart
rate
will
automaticallyappear
inthe
upperrighthandwindow
andthe
heart-shaped
light
will
blink
to
indicate
a
signal
is
beingreceived.
After
you
havespentsometimelearning
how
yourheartreacts
to
different
levels
of
work,
you
will
have
a
betterunderstanding

Before
beginning
Heart
Rate
Control,
you
must
first
attach
the
heartratetransmitteraroundyour
chest.
The
radiofrequencytransmitterstrap
should
be
worn
directly
againstyour
skin,
1 -2
inchesbelow
the
pectoralmuscles/breast
line.
Women
should
be
careful
to
place
the
transmitter
belowtheir
bra
line.
Initially,
the
transmission
signal
for
heartrate
maybe
erratic
or
non-existent.Perspiration
on
your
skin
is
necessary
for
propertransmission.
In
mostcases,
bytheendof
yourwarm
up,
transmissionbecomesconsistent
and
accurate.
If
not,
water
should
be
used
to
moisten
the
sensors
onthe
back
ofthe
strap.
If
no
transmitter
is
available,holdcontactpads
(on600
modelsonly)
on
handlebars
toget
heartrate.
The
Heart

LED
will
flash,showing
that
the

front

handlebars,

carefullyraise
the
rear
endofthe
bike.

end

the
bike.
•
Steer
the
bike
to
anotherdesiredlocation.

intenseimpact
tothe
computer

malfunction

LEVELING
YOUR
BIKE
•
The
bike
canbe
leveled
to
adjust
for
unevensurfaces.
•
To
level
the
bike,raise
or
lower
thetwo
adjustingstandslocated
onthe
underside
ofthe
rearstabilizer
by
screwingthem
inor
out
as
needed.
•
Loosen
the
quickreleasenutsbeforemakingadjustment,
and
tightenthem
up
afteradjustment.
MAINTENANCE
Use
a
moistcloth
to
wipesweat
onthe
bike
and
computer.
Donotgettoo
muchmoisture
onthe
computer.Keeping

computerpanelfree
