Manufacturer’s
terms of warranty
1. Case of warranty
The manufacturer grants a
warranty for malfunctions in
the appliance which are
base on material or pro uc-
tion faults. In a ition to this,
the statutory warranty claims
against the seller remain
vali .
A claim un er warranty shall
not pertain:
– for parts subject to wear
an in cases of natural
wear an tear,
– as a result of not original
Truma parts being use in
the appliance,
– as a consequence of failure
to respect Truma instruc-
tions for installation an
use,
– as a consequence of im-
proper han ling,
– as a consequence of im-
proper transport packing,
not arrange by Truma.
2. Scope of warranty
The warranty is vali for mal-
functions as state un er
item 1, which occur within
24 months after conclusion
of the purchase agreement
between the seller an the fi-
nal consumer. The manufac-
turers will make goo such
efects by subsequent fulfil-
ment, i.e. at their iscretion
either by repair or replace-
ment. In the event of manu-
facturers provi ing service
un er warranty, the term of
the warranty shall not re-
commence anew with regar
to the repaire or replace
parts; rather, the ol warranty
perio shall continue to run.
More extensive claims, in
particular claims for compen-
satory amages by pur-
chasers or thir parties, shall
be exclu e . This oes not
affect the rules of the pro uct
liability law.
The manufacturer shall bear
the cost of employing the
Truma customer service for
the removal of a malfunction
un er warranty – in particular
transportation costs, travel-
ling expenses, job an mater-
ial costs, as long as the
service is carrie out in
Germany.
The warranty oes not cover
customer service work in oth-
er countries.
A itional costs base on
complicate removal an in-
stallation con itions of the
appliance (e.g. removal of
furniture or parts of the vehi-
cle bo y) o not come un er
warranty.
3. Raising the case of
warranty

Germany, always notify the
Truma service centre if prob-
lems are encountere ; in
other countries the relevant
service partners shoul be
contacte (see list of a -
resses). Any complaints are
to be escribe in etail. In
a ition, the properly com-
plete guarantee certificate is
to be presente , or the facto-
ry number of the unit an the
ate of purchase given.
In or er for the manufactur-
ers to be able to etermine
whether an inci ent subject
to guarantee has occurre ,
the en user must, at his own
risk, bring the evice to the
manufacturers or sen it to
them.
In instances of the evice
being sent to the works, is-
patch is to be effecte by
freight transport. In cases
un er guarantee, the works
shall bear the transport costs
or the costs of elivery an
return. If the amage is
eeme not to be a warranty
case, the manufacturer shall
notify the customer an shall
specify repair costs which
shall not be borne by the
manufacturer; in this case,
the customer shall also bear
the shipping costs.
