Foil Sparklers
Supplies
– Tin foil
– Sticky tape
– Scissors
– Glue
– Glitter
– An art straw
1 First, get a large piece of tin foil –
about the size of an A3 piece of
paper.
2 Paint a line of glue along one of
the long edges of the A3 foil, then
sprinkle on some glitter. Leave this
to dry.
3 Once dry, carefully tear or cut
several strips along the long
glittery edge to about 10 cm into
the foil sheet.
4 Next, place the straw on the foil
along the shorter edge. Slowly
and carefully, wrap the foil around
the straw and roll the straw until
all the foil is wrapped around it.
Secure with sticky tape.
5 Scrunch and press the foil around
any bits of the straw not yet
covered.
