Warning:
Precautions
• Certain electrodes may cause discomfort depending on skin
integrity. Physician should perform a skin assessment prior to
selecting the appropriate patient electrode types.
• Only use cables provided by TZ Medical with the
Trident™ Pro monitor.
• To reduce the risks of strangulation or asphyxiation do not leave
electrode cables accessible to infants or children. Carefully route
the electrode cables to reduce the possibility of entanglement or
strangulation during use.
• To achieve the best recording results, stay away from heavy
electrical equipment or other sources of electromagnetic
interference. This includes equipment such as electric blankets
and heating pads.
• Avoid exposing device to excessive amounts of water or moisture.
The device is water-resistant, not waterproof.
• Do not expose device to extreme temperatures.
• Do not allow conductive parts of the Trident™ Pro patient
electrodes to contact other conductive parts, including earth.
• Changes or modications made to this equipment not expressly
approved by TZ Medical may void the FCC authorization to operate
this equipment.
• Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device
should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent
authority of the member state in which the user and/or patient
is established.
• If located in an area with poor cellular service, device may be
required to charge more frequently to avoid complete
battery depletion.
This device provides a diagnostic test. It is not an
emergency response service. If at any time you
experience a symptom that you feel is a medical
emergency, dial 911 for medical assistance.

Getting started
Applying electrodes
Select electrode sites to match the electrode
conguration shown above or as instructed by the
physician. Select areas over bone, avoiding muscle areas
and breast tissue.
Use a razor to remove all excess hair, and scrub the site
clean with warm, soapy water.
Note:
Allow sites to dry completely and remove all residue before
applying adhesive electrodes.
Replacing electrodes:
Replace your electrodes every 72 hours.
• Remove lead wires from electrodes on your chest.
• Remove electrodes, wash off excess gel, and dry completely.
• Place new electrodes in proper locations
(they don’t need to be on the exact same spot).
• Avoid placing any electrodes on irritated skin.
Apply electrodes to prepped and dried
sites, pressing the border rmly to ensure
consistent adhesion. Make sure to match
electrodes to the selected conguration
from the following gures, or as
instructed by the physician.

Connecting lead cable to device
To power on the device, hold down the circular power
button until the startup screen is displayed.
Connect the lead cable by rmly inserting cable card
edge into housing opening on the device, ensuring
that the end of the connector is facing down.
Note:
Make sure to connect all
electrodes prior to connecting
the cable to the device.
To activate monitor, call
877.507.9587 (Option #2)
after you have completed lead
placement.
If tracings do not display
correctly, ensure leads are
placed in the proper
position and secured to
the electrodes.
Once connected, the
device will launch a
signal quality screen
displaying tracings from
all channels supported
by the cable.

Recording symptoms
To record a symptom,
use the touch screen by
pressing the button
and the New Event screen
will be displayed.
Follow the same steps by using the
up and down arrows to select your
current activity. Press lower-right
arrow to continue.
Use the arrows on the
bottom left and right of
the display and follow
the instructions on the
screen. Press lower-right
arrow to display the
Symptom Diary.
Once your symptoms and activity have
been selected, you will be directed to
the Conrm Event screen where your
previous selections will be displayed.
Press the button to conrm the
event and continue monitoring.
Use the up and down
arrows to scroll through
the list of symptoms.
The selected symptom will
be highlighted in white.
Press the lower-right arrow
once symptom has been
selected to advance to
the Activity Diary.
Note:
During prolonged inactivity, your monitor’s display screen will
hibernate to conserve battery life. Press the circular, tactile power
button to wake the display and access the monitoring screen.

Charging the device
The battery icon is located at the upper-
right corner of the screen, indicating the
remaining battery life.
To charge the device, remove the
Barrel Jack Wall Charger from your kit
and plug it into the nearest power outlet.
Insert the opposite end of the charger
into the charging port located on your
Lead Cable.
Note:
Charging the device at least every 24 hours is recommended to avoid
complete depletion of battery life.
If located in an area with poor cellular service, more frequent charging
may be necessary to avoid complete battery depletion.
Note:
If your lead cable does not have a port for the Barrel Jack
Charger, you will need to unplug the lead cable and plug
in the regular charging cable to the device and the nearest
power outlet until the device is fully charged.
Once properly inserted, you will notice if the
device is successfully charging by the charging
battery icon located at the upper-right corner
of the screen.
A fully charged battery will be indicated when
the charging symbol is removed and the icon
reverts back to its full solid-blue status.

Returning your monitor
When your study is
complete, the device
will notify you that the
recording is complete
by vibrating and
displaying the Done
Monitoring screen.
Power off the device
by pressing the circular
power icon located
on the lower-left of
the screen.
Once redirected to the
shutdown screen, press
the power icon located
in the middle of the
screen. After the device
has powered off, you can
begin to disconnect the
lead cable from the
device. Remove and
discard used adhesive
electrodes.
1. Prior to returning the monitor, remove the patient cable and
make sure all the data has transmitted and that the event
counter on the display reads “ZERO.”
2. Unplug the patient lead wire.
3. Place the monitor lead wire and battery charger in the black
case. Place the case inside the UPS return envelope.
4. Retain the return card for a minimum of TWO WEEKS for
shipping conrmation.
5. Call UPS at 800.823.7459 to schedule a ARS return.
(UPS will retrieve the package at no charge to you.)
This monitor is the property of RCS and must be returned
immediately upon termination of your service. You are
nancially responsible and will be billed for the cost of the
monitor if the monitor is damaged or is not returned.
