Identification of Parts of Ultraprobe 201 "Grease
Caddy."
1The "Grease Caddy" can be attached to a Grease
Gun or Worn in a Holster w/Belt Clip.

10 LED that equal 3 dB Each. ON/OFF Bottons w/
5min auto off. 8 Position Sensitivity Selector with
'0' being highest sensitivity.
3To Calculate Decibel, count Number of LEDs '5'
multiply by 3 (=15). Add to Sensitivity Setting' 50'
(3 X 5 = 15 + 50 = 65 dB).

Possible Location of Magnet on Bearing Housing,
side of Housing. Never on Fan Shrouds or Covers.

Possible Location of Magnet; Tip of Grease Gun,
when Bearing Housing Cannot be Reached.
7While Lubing, Make Sure that the Display of the
'Grease Caddy can be Viewed, to note Decibel
Change of the bearing.

While operating the 'Grease Caddy,' Headphones
should be worn to be able to hear the Change of
sound of the bearing.
9ADD lube until DECIBEL DROPS to Baseline or
unitl Decibel Drops and Levels & will not decrease
anymore.

The Number One Cause of Bearing Failure is
OVERLUBRICATION. Be Cautious and Lube
Slowly.
11 Decibel of 201 Ultraprobe may not match Decibel of
Other Ultraprobes. You are only looking for
Change in Decibel.
