1 Use / Range of application
iSHAN centralized lubricating systems are designed to lubricate ball bearings, flat
bearings, flat slideways, circular slideways, linear guides, cams, gears, chains, etc..
iSHAN centralized lubricating systems are suitable for the lubrication of various
machines, such as lathes, mills, presses, planner, grinder, etc. It is possible to control
different lubricating points at different machines at the same time.
The permissible oil viscosity of YET-A lubricators range from 30 cSt to 250 cSt.
The YET-A lubricators are designed to lubricate intermittent. Its’ control unit may be
used as timer for time-dependent control or as counter for load-dependent control. The
interval times may be optionally adjusted from one to 999 minute for time-dependent
control, or from one to 999 pulses for load-dependent control. The lubrication time is time
dependent control, and ranges from one to 999 seconds. There are two control modes when
actuation: the lubricating actuation mode - to pump oil as soon as power on , or the
recording actuation mode - to continue the state recorded before last power off.
The maximum discharge rate of YET-A1 pump is 200 ml/min, and 100 ml/min for
YET-A2 model. The max discharge pressure are 7 bar for YET-A1 model, and 15 bar for
YET-A2 model. In order to protect the auxiliary equipments, there consists a pressure
release valve to control the pipe pressure remains a constant value during lubrication times.
For safety measurements, the oil level switch could send an acoustic alarm through
buzzer and stop pumping oil. Also, the pressure switch is optional for customer, it can detect
whether the oil pipe system leaks. To get further safety measurement, it is possible to
connect the lubricator to other controller, computer properly to enhance the alarm system.

Mount the lubricator on the machine by
fastening it with two screws cat the
suspension holed(Fig. 2) to the hole on the
machine for fastening the screws must have a
distance of 188~206 mm.eThe lubricator
should be mounted in the height of 0.6~1.7 m
above the ground level.
2-4.2 Filling Oil
Remove the oiltank cap and fill with
clean and non-used oil into the tank until the
oil level reaches the above line at “HIGH”
(Fig. 3). The oiltank has an capacity of 3
liters. When having filled in the oil to the
proper level, lock the oiltank cap. Please note
that use only oil with a viscosity of 30 to 250
cSt.
Caution ! Lubricator might start to burn if using
oil with a viscousity higher than 250 cSt.

8 - 21
2-4.3 Connection of oil pipe
Connect the oilpipe now (Fig. 4). The
elbow joint efor the oilpipe is located at the
right side of the lubricator. Remove the
thimble nut cand carefully take out the
thimb dinside the elbow joint and connect
the oilpipe ftogether with the nut and the
thimble. Then insert the oilpipe set into the
elbow joint.
To avoid leakage of oil during the operation, the thimble should be completely slipped
over so that at least 1mm of the pipe sticks out when inserting into the elbow joint. And the
oilpipe set should be fastened on the elbow joint firmly by fastening the thimble nut at the
joint.
2-4.4 Installation of power and alarm
Note !! Install a fuse between the power supply and the lubricator !! (See 7-1)
Connect the cable for power and alarm. Remove the upper cover of the control box in
which have the connection points for the power and alarm by loosening the screws for
casting (Fig. 5). There is a cable gland for fastening the cable on the left lateral side of the
control box. Remove this gland through turning (Fig. 6) and slip it over the cable in such a
direction, so that you can fasten the gland later. Next, push the cable through the opening
into the casing (Fig. 7).

9 - 21
Connect the cable at the connection points for power and alarm now (Fig. 8). First,
open the screw for the point of the earthing c.Next, connect the ground cable and fix it by
fastening the screws. Connect the cables for plus and minus accordingly at "POWER" d.
According to this connection the lubricator will send out an acoustic and an optic signal
when the oil level reaches a critical minimum. Also, the lubricator will stop working.
Secondly, for further measurements in order to react on an alarm it is possible to
connect one cable at "COM" fand another cable whether at "NO"gor "NC"e. If it is
optional. For proper connection, the lubricator will stop the power supply of the machine
to be lubricated, or the lubricator can also be connected with a computer or other appliance
which will allow the user to react according to his wishes. For COM-NO
connection(normal open), the circular loop will be open when the amount of oil is
enough. For COM-NC connection, the lubricator will begin to pump while the oil is
insufficient. The electricity specification for NC-COM-NO connection is max. 6 A @
250 V AC, or 10A @ 110V AC, or 6A @30 VDC.

10 - 21
Close the cover after having connected all cables.
For protecting the cable not to be pulled out of the box
and disconnected from the ports, fasten the gland again
(Fig. 9). The lubricator can be connected with the
power supply now. When connected properly, you will
hear a “beep”-sound first which is send out by the

4 Maintenance
iSHAN centralized lubrication system are easy to maintain. For maintenance,
please clean periodically the oiltank. The oiltank also has to be cleaned if there are any
impurity found at the bottom of the oiltank or the filter in the oil suction set. For cleaning
the oiltank dismount the lubricator and loosen the four screws on each corner. Now, the
oiltank can be separated from the rest of the lubricator. After having clean the tank please
fasten the two short screws at the front corners and the two longer screws at the front corner.
For proper, problem-free operation, please obey the following rules exactly:
1. Use clean, new oil and with permissible viscosity.
2. To protect the electrical stability, once you have turn off the power, please wait for at least 20
seconds to restart the lubricator.
3. The elbow joints of YET-A1 and YET-A2 are special parts, never change them by yourself.
4. The YET-A2 lubricator is reacted by pressure release model. Generally, it should be
compacted with piston distributers to control the mount of oil discharged per cycle
precisionly. In order to work properly, the elbow joint of the lubricator can not be non-
return model. It must be simple direct joint, and please don’t change it by yourself.
