ULTRAPROBE 201 “GREASE CADDY”
VISUAL
INSTRUCTIONS
The "Grease Caddy" can be attached to a Grease
Gun or WORN IN A HOLSTER w/Belt Clip.
10 LEDs to note change. ON/OFF Buttons w/
5min auto off. 8 Position Sensitivity Selector
with '0' being highest sensitivity.
Possible Location of Magnet on Bearing Housing,
side of Housing. Never on Fan Shrouds or Covers.
Use Grease fitting if possible.

Gun Docking Station. Instructions attached.
Docking Station attaches by unscrewing grease
gun nozzle and sliding docking station on, then
reattaching the nozzle.
While Lubing, be sure “Grease Caddy” display
can be viewed, & note Sound Change of the
bearing.
201 OPERATION
Possible Location of Magnet on Bearing Housing,
top of Housing. Never on Fan Shrouds or Covers.

The grease fitting acts
as a wave guide for the
sound transfer.
Docking station attaches to
grease gun.
Adjust Sensitivity to near Mid Scale. If full scale,
impossible to tell where starting point is.
201 OPERATION
While operating the 'Grease Caddy,' Headphones
should be worn at all times to hear the Change
of sound in the bearing.
IT’S IMPORTANT TO
LISTEN AND OBSERVE
THE DISPLAY WHILE
LUBING!!!
Full Scale
Sensitivity Too High
Mid Scale
Adjusted Sensitivity
LEDs of 201 Ultraprobe are present to show
change in sound level.
THE LEDS ARE ONLY THERE TO
SHOW A CHANGE IN SOUND
LEVEL.
Add lube until sound level lowers, levels out, and
will not decrease more. If Sound Level Increases,
Immediately STOP Adding Lube!
Lube Slowly And Add Lube A LITTLE AT A TIME.
Give Time For Response Of Change.
**If sound level never decreases, NEVER exceed
manufacture’s calculated grease capacity for the bearing.
DO NOT OVERLUBE.
