Digitalthermometer, bestimmt zur
Messung der Basaltemperatur bei
Frauen im gebärfähigen Alter. Die
mit Hilfe des Messfühlers ermittelte

Die Übertragung der Messdaten
auf ein Kurvenblatt ermöglicht die
Eingrenzung der fruchtbaren und
unfruchtbaren Tage im Zyklus.
Thermometer nicht fallen lassen. Es ist
weder stoß- noch schlagfest.
Prüfen Sie vor der Messung die Unver-
sehrtheit von Messspitze und Display
Dieses Thermometer ist ausschließlich
zur Messung der menschlichen
Körpertemperatur bestimmt!
Das Thermometer enthält Kleinteile
(Batterie, usw.) die von Kindern
verschluckt werden könnten. Gerät
daher nicht unbeaufsichtigt Kindern
überlassen!
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor
hohen Temperaturen und direkter
Sonneneinstrahlung.
Öffnen oder verändern Sie auf keinen
Fall das Gerät (ausgenommen Bat-
teriefach). Dies ist ein Medizinprodukt.
Reinigen Sie das Thermometer vor
und nach jeder, Anwendung siehe
Seite 15 „Pege des Gerätes”.

Führen Sie die Messung zur gleichen
Uhrzeit unmittelbar nach dem Aufwa-
chen durch, noch bevor Sie aufstehen.
Sie sollten vor dem Messen mindestens
5 Stunden geschlafen haben. Bei nicht
ausreichender Schlafpause lassen Sie
die Messung ausfallen und tragen
keinen Messwert ein.
Vor der Messung nichts essen und kör-
perliche Anstrengungen vermeiden.
Sie können oral, rektal oder vaginal
messen, sollten jedoch bei dem ein-
mal gewählten Messort bleiben. Die
Messung unter dem Arm (axillar) er-
gibt ungenaue Werte. Sie ist deshalb
zur Durchführung von Basaltempera-
turmessungen ungeeignet.
Empfohlen wird die Messung unter
der Zunge bei geschlossenen Lippen.
Führen Sie die Messfühlerspitze in
eine der beiden Wärmetaschen unter
der Zunge links oder rechts von der
Zungenwurzel ein. Der Messsensor
muss einen guten Gewebekontakt
haben.
Wechseln Sie die Batterie, wenn im
Display die Batterieanzeige erscheint:
Ziehen Sie dazu die Batteriefach-Ab-
deckung nach hinten ab.
Ziehen Sie die Batteriehalterung vor-
sichtig ca. 1 cm aus dem Gehäuse heraus.
Verwenden Sie einen nicht metal-
lischen Gegenstand, um die Batterie
aus ihrer Halterung zu schieben.
Setzen Sie eine neue Batterie (Typ
LR41 oder SR41, 1,55 V) mit dem +
Zeichen nach oben ein.
Schließen Sie den Mund und atmen
Sie ruhig durch die Nase, so dass das
Messergebnis nicht durch die Atemluft
beeinträchtigt wird.
Schieben Sie die Batteriehalterung ins
Gehäuse zurück und setzen Sie die Bat-
teriefach-Abdeckung wieder auf. Ach-
ten Sie dabei darauf, dass die Dichtung
nicht beschädigt oder verschoben wird.

Ca. 8-10 Minuten nach Ende der Mes-
sung erfolgt die selbständige Abschal-
Tragen Sie die Messwerte in ein cyclo-
test® Kurvenblatt ein. Benutzen Sie für
jeden Zyklus ein neues Kurvenblatt.
Beginnen Sie mit den Eintragungen
am ersten Tag der Regelblutung
(= 1. Zyklustag). Regelblutungen
unterscheiden sich von
Zwischenblutungen durch einen
typischen Temperaturabfall.
Vermerken Sie auf dem Kurvenblatt
auch Besonderheiten und Einüsse,
die die Temperatur verändern könnten:
Sexueller Verkehr (V), eberhafte
Erkrankung (E), Einnahme von
Medikamenten (M) oder Schlafmitteln
(S), zu wenig Schlaf (wS),
Klimawechsel (K), Genuss von Alkohol
(A), seelische Belastung (B) oder
körperliche Anstrengung (kA).
Notieren Sie auf dem Kurvenblatt auch
BlutungenundSchleimbeschaffenheit:
Regelblutung (R), starke, mäßige,
geringe Zwischenblutungen (sZ, mZ,
gZ), Schmierblutungen (SB) und
möglichst auch Auftreten und Art des
Zervixschleims.
Der Messwert der letzten Messung wird
angezeigt:
Danach erscheint ein interner Testwert
von 37,00 °C (± 0,02 °C). Das Thermo-
meter schaltet in den Messmodus.
Das blinkende „°C“ im Display zeigt an,
dass die neue Messung begonnen hat.
Das Gerät bestätigt Ihnen die
erfolgreiche Messung mit einem
mehrmaligen Piepton und zeigt die
gemessene Temperatur im Display an.
Der ermittelte Messwert bleibt bis zur
nächsten Messung gespeichert.
Zum Einschalten drücken Sie die Ein-/
Aus-Taste. Ein kurzer Piepston signa-
lisiert „Thermometer an“. Gleichzeitig
wird eine optische Vollsegmentkon-
trolle des Displays durchgeführt.
Bitte warten Sie auf jeden Fall das
Ende der Messung ab, bevor Sie das
Thermometer vom Messort entfernen.
Dies kann in einzelnen Fällen mehrere
Minuten dauern.

Eisprung Temperaturhoch
Der Eisprung (Ovulation), der etwa in
der Mitte des Zyklus erfolgt, ist maß-
gebend für Schwangerschaftsplanung
und Empfängnisverhütung. Die Basal-
temperatur steigt 1-2 Tage nach dem
Eisprung um 0,2-0,5 °C an. Direkt vor
dem Ovulationstag ist häug ein Ab-
sinken um ca. 0,1 °C zu beobachten.
Die erhöhte Basaltemperatur bleibt bis
zur nächsten Regelblutung auf etwa
gleichem Niveau und sinkt dann wie-
der ab (siehe Musterkurve).

Ablauf deuten auf Zyklusstörungen
oder Schwangerschaft hin.

Die unbefruchtete weibliche Eizel-
le bleibt nur wenige Stunden nach
dem Eisprung befruchtungsfähig,
der männliche Samen ist 2-4 Tage
lang keimfähig. Deshalb kann eine
Befruchtung des Eies (Empfängnis)
lediglich an den letzten 5 Tagen vor
dem oben beschriebenen Tempera-
turanstieg erfolgen.
Ermitteln Sie die Schwankungsbreite
Ihres Ovulationstages über mehrere
Zyklen hinweg möglichst exakt – und
Sie haben ein gutes Bild, wann Sie
mit Ihrer fruchtbaren Phase rechnen
können.
Bleibt die Temperatur nach dem
Anstieg länger als 18 Tage erhöht, so
besteht aller Voraussicht nach eine
Schwangerschaft.
Temperaturmethode
Mit der „strengen Form“ der Tempe-
raturmethode (sexueller Verkehr nur
vom dritten Tag des Temperaturan-
stiegs bis zur nächsten Regel) errei-
chen Sie fast die selbe Zuverlässigkeit
wie mit der Pille - auf ganz natürliche
Weise, ohne Medikamente einzuneh-
men oder mechanische Maßnahmen
anzuwenden.
Auch die „erweiterte Form” der Tempe-
raturmethode ist noch ebenso zuverläs-
sig wie mechanische Verhütungsmittel.
Hierbei können Sie sexuellen Verkehr
auch in der Zeit ab Regelbeginn bis sechs
Tage vor dem Temperaturanstiegstag
haben. Ganz exakt: Von dem frühesten
Temperaturanstiegstag, den Sie aus min-
destens 6 aufeinander folgenden Zyklen
ermitteln, rechnen Sie 6 Tage zurück.
Symptothermale Methode
Hierbei wird die Temperaturmethode
mit der Beobachtung eines
„Symptoms“, des Schleims am
Gebärmutterhals, kombiniert.
Meist folgt auf eine Regelblutung
eine Phase unfruchtbarer, „trockener”
Tage, in denen kein sogenannter Zer-
vixschleim zu beobachten ist. Einige
Tage vor der fruchtbaren Phase verur-
sacht der Schleim ein klebrig-feuchtes
Gefühl am Scheideneingang. Spinn-
barkeit, Durchsichtigkeit und starke
Verüssigung sind kennzeichnend.
Wenn Sie nun 3-4 Tage vor einem
Temperaturanstieg diese Beobach-
tungen machen, können Sie sicher
sein, dass dieser Temperaturanstieg
durch den Eisprung erfolgt ist. Achten
Sie dazu in der entsprechenden Zeit
einmal pro Tag auf den Zervixschleim.

Sie können cyclotest® lady auch zum
Fieber messen verwenden. Führen
Sie die Messung wie auf Seite 5
beschrieben durch.
Die oral gemessene Körpertemperatur
liegt durchschnittlich bei 36,7 °C
± 0,5 °C. Für die Einstufung von
Fieber können sie sich an folgenden
Richtwerten orientieren:
37,5 °C bis 37,9 °C: Erhöhte Temperatur
38,0 °C bis 38,9 °C: Mäßiges Fieber
ab 39,0 °C: Hohes Fieber

weichen Tuch und wasserverdünntem
Isopropyl-Alkohol oder kaltem
Seifenwasser.
Das Gerät wurde mit aller Sorgfalt
hergestellt und geprüft. Für den Fall,
dass es trotzdem bei Auslieferung
Mängel aufweisen sollte, geben wir
eine Garantie zu den nachfolgenden
Konditionen:
1. Während der Garantiezeit von 2
Jahren ab Kaufdatum beheben wir
solche Mängel nach unserer Wahl und
auf unsere Kosten in unserem Werk
durch Reparatur oder Ersatzlieferung

thermometer designed to measure
the basal body temperature of
women of child-bearing age. The
maximum temperature determined
with the sensor is stored until the next
measurement.

Transferring the measured data to
a chart enables you to pinpoint the
fertile and non-fertile days in the
cycle.
Do not drop the thermometer. It is not
shock-proof.
Before use, check that the tip and the
display are not damaged.
This thermometer is intended solely for
measuring human body temperature!
The thermometer contains small
parts (battery, etc.) which could be
swallowed by children. For this reason,
do not leave the unit in the hands of
children unsupervised.
Protect the unit against high
temperatures and direct sunlight.
Do not under any circumstances open
or modify the unit (except the bat-
tery compartment). This is a medical
product.

Take the measurement wherever
possible at roughly the same time of
day, immediately after waking up, but
before getting up.
Before measuring, you should have
slept for at least 5 hours. If you have
had an insufcient period of sleep,
skip the measurement and do not
enter a measured value.
Prior to measurement do not eat and
avoid physical exertion.
You can take the measurement orally,
rectally or vaginally, but you should
then stick to the point of measure-
ment you have chosen. Measuring
under the arm (axillary) produces
inaccurate results. It is therefore un-
suitable for measuring the basal body
temperature.
We recommend that you take the
measurement under your tongue with
your mouth closed. Place the sensor tip
in one of the two heat pockets under
your tongue to the left or right of the
root of the tongue. The sensor must
make good contact with the tissue.
Change the battery when the battery
symbol ashes in the display:
To do so, pull off the battery compart-
ment cover towards the rear.
Carefully pull the battery holder about
1 cm out of the casing.
Do not use a metal object to push the
battery out of its holder.
Insert a new battery (type LR41 or
SR41, 1.55 V), with the + sign towards
the top.
Close your mouth and breathe
easily through your nose so that
the measurement result is not
compromised by inhaled air.
Push the battery holder back into
the casing and replace the battery
compartment cover. Take care not to
damage or misalign the seal when
doing this.

Enter the measured values in a cy-
clotest® chart. Use a new chart for
each cycle.
Start the entries on the rst day
of your regular period (= 1st cycle
day). Regular periods differ from
intermenstrual bleeding in that they
are accompanied by typical drop in
temperature.
Also make a note on the chart of
special factors and inuences which
could alter the temperature:
Sexual intercourse (V), fever (E), taking
of medication/drugs (M) or sleeping
medication (S), insufcient sleep (wS),
change of climate (K), consumption of
alcohol (A), emotional/mental strain
(B) or physical exertion (kA).
Also make a note on the chart of
bleeding and mucus quality: regular
period (R), heavy, moderate, light
intermenstrual bleeding (sZ, mZ, gZ),
spotting (SB) and if possible also the
appearance and nature of the cervical
mucus.
The measured value of the last
measurement is displayed:
Then an internal test value of 37.00 °C
(± 0.02 °C) appears. The thermometer
switches into measurement mode.
The ashing “°C” in the display
indicates that the new measurement
has started.
The unit conrms that the
measurement has been successful
with a repeated beep and indicates
the measured temperature in the
display.
The determined measured value
remains stored until the next
measurement.
Press the On/Off button to switch the
unit on. A short beep signals that the
thermometer is on. A visual full-seg-
ment check of the display is performed
at the same time.
Please always wait until the
measurement has nished before
removing the thermometer from the
point of measurement. This can take a
few minutes in some cases.
The unit switches itself off approx.
8-10 minutes after the measurement
has nished. You can also switch off
the thermometer yourself before this
by pressing the On/Off button.

Ovulation which occurs roughly in the
middle of the cycle is denitive for
pregnancy planning and for contra-
ception. The basal body temperature
increases 1-2 days after ovulation by
0.2 – 0.5 °C. A drop in temperature
of approx. 0.1 °C is frequently to be
observed directly before the day of
ovulation. The increased basal body
temperature remains at roughly the
same level until the next regular pe-
riod and then drops again (see spec-
imen curve).
Signicant deviations from this
sequence indicate cycle irregularities
or pregnancy.

Carefully kept charts are important
diagnostic indicators and should
always be taken with you to doctor’s
appointments. This is recommended
particularly in the event of cycle

tilised for just a few hours after ovula-
tion, sperm remains capable of fertil-
ising an egg for 2-4 days. Fertilisation
of the egg (conception) can therefore
only occur on the last 5 days before
the temperature increase described
above.
Determine the uctuation of your
ovulation day over several cycles as
exactly as possible – this will provide
you with a good picture of when you
can expect your fertile phase.
If the temperature remains high after
the rise for longer than 18 days, you
are in all probability pregnant.
Temperature method
The “strict form” of the temperature
method (sexual intercourse only from
the third day of the temperature rise
until the next regular period) is almost
as reliable as the pill - by entirely nat-
ural means, without taking medication
or using mechanical (non-hormonal)
measures.
Even the “extended form” of the temper-
ature method is still just as reliable as me-
chanical (non-hormonal) contraceptives.
Here you can also have sexual intercourse
in the period from the start of the regu-
lar period up to six days before the day
of the temperature rise. In exact terms:
From the earliest day of the temperature
rise which you determine from at least
6 successive cycles, count back 6 days.
Symptothermal method
Here the temperature method is
combined with observing a “symptom“,
the mucus at the neck of the uterus.
A regular period is usually followed
by a phase of infertile, “dry” days in
which no so-called cervical mucus
can be observed. A few days prior to
the fertile phase the mucus causes
a sticky-moist feeling at the entry to
the vagina. Spinnbarkeit (stretchabil-
ity), clearness and strong uidity are
characteristic.
If you now make these observations
3-4 days before the temperature rise,
you can be certain that this tempera-
ture rise has occurred in response to
ovulation. To this end, take a look at
your cervical mucus once a day during
the corresponding time period.

Relever les résultats de mesure sur
une che à diagramme permet de
délimiter les jours fertiles et non
fertiles au sein d’un cycle.
Ne pas laisser tomber le thermomètre.
L’instrument n’est résistant ni aux
chocs ni aux impacts.
Avant d’effectuer la mesure, vérier
la pointe et le bon fonctionnement de
l’afchage.
Ce thermomètre est exclusivement
réservé à la mesure de la température
corporelle.
Le thermomètre contient des
composants de petite taille (piles

Remplacer la pile :
Mesurer la température au réveil, avant
de se lever et si possible toujours à la
même heure.
La mesure doit avoir lieu après au
moins 5 heures de sommeil. En cas de
sommeil insufsant, ne pas faire de
relevé, renoncer à la mesure.
Ne rien manger avant la mesure ;
éviter également tout effort physique.
Le détecteur de température accepte
la mesure orale, rectale ou vaginale.
Choisir une méthode de mesure et
ne plus en changer. La mesure sous
le bras (axillaire) donne des résultats
imprécis. Elle n’est donc pas conseillée
pour mesurer la température basale.
Nous recommandons une application
orale, sous la langue les lèvres
fermées. Introduire l’extrémité
du détecteur sous la langue à
gauche ou à droite de sa racine.
Il est important que le détecteur
ait un bon contact avec les tissus.
Changer la pile lorsque le symbole
« pile » clignote sur le visuel.
Pousser le couvercle du compartiment
à pile vers l’arrière.
Tirer avec précaution le support de la
pile du boîtier à pile sur env. 1 cm.
Utiliser un objet non métallique pour
pousser la pile hors de son logement.
Insérer la pile neuve (type LR41 ou
SR41, 1,55V), le signe + vers le haut.
Refermer la bouche et respirer
calmement par le nez, ainsi le résultat
de la mesure ne sera pas inuencé par
l’air inspiré.
Repousser le support de pile dans le
boitier et refermer le couvercle jusqu’à
enclenchement en veillant à ne pas
déplacer ni endommager le joint.

Reporter les valeurs de mesure sur
un diagramme cyclotest®. Utiliser un
feuillet par cycle.
Commencer les relevés au premier jour
des règles (= 1er jour du cycle). Les
règles se distinguent des saignements
intermédiaires par une chute
caractéristique de la température.
Noter sur le diagramme les particula-
rités et les facteurs susceptibles d’in-
uencer la température :
Rapports sexuels (RS), maladie avec
èvre (F), prise de médicaments (Med)
ou de somnifères (Som), manque de
sommeil (MS), changement de climat
(C), absorption d’alcool (Alc), soucis
et problèmes psychiques (Psy), effort
physique (Phy).
Notez également les saignements
et la consistance de la glaire :
règles ordinaires (R), saignements
intermédiaires forts (SgFo), modérés
(SgMod) ou faibles (SgFa), traces
de saignements (TS) ; si possible
également l’apparition et la
consistance de la glaire cervicale.
Le visuel afche la valeur de la
dernière mesure :
Puis l’appareil afche une valeur de
test de 37,00 °C (± 0,02 °C). Le ther-
momètre passe en mode de mesure.
Une nouvelle mesure a commencé
lorsque le symbole « °C » clignote.
Un bip sonore répété indique la n
de la mesure et le visuel afche la
température mesurée.
Cette valeur de température est
sauvegardée jusqu’à la prochaine
mesure.
Allumer l’appareil en appuyant sur la
touche marche/arrêt. Un bip signale
que le thermomètre est allumé.
L’appareil effectue un contrôle
complet des éléments afchables.
Dans tous les cas, attendre la n
de la mesure avant d’enlever le
thermomètre, ce qui peut durer
plusieurs minutes.
Env. 8-10 minutes après la n
de la mesure, l’appareil s’éteint
automatiquement; vous pouvez
l’éteindre avant manuellement en
appuyant sur la touche marche/arrêt.
