TherearealotofsettingsyoucanchangetocustomizeyourUniGo.
InthisguideIwillgothrusomebasicsettings.Youwillfindallthe
settingsunderthesetupmenuanditssubmenus.

FromtheMAINMENUselectSETUPMENU.
Selectthe<submenuoption>(seebelow)
TrackMenu
Thismenuoptioncontainsallthesettingsregardingtheracetrack,
e.g.thenameofthetrack,thereceiveryouareusingetc.

KartMenu
Thismenuoptioncontainsallthesettingsregardingthekart.The
settingsIwanttohighlightare:
WHEELSIZE
Ifyouareusingafrontwheelorarearaxlespeedsensoryou
needtosetthecircumferenceofthewheeltogetthecorrect
speedanddistance.IfnotsettheoptiontoOFF.
NAME/TYPE
Hereyousetthenameofyourkart/class.Whenyouimport
datatoOffCamberDatathissettingwillautomaticallyfillthe
optionKart.
WHEELMAGNETS
Ifyouareusingafrontwheelorarearaxlespeedsensoryou
needtosetthenumberofmagnetsonthesensordisc.
ENGINEMENU
Thismenuoptioncontainsallthesettingsregardingtheengine.The
settingsIwanttohighlightare:
RPMFACTOR
SettheinputandfactorfortheRPMsensor.Themostcommon
settingforkartingis“RPMinputx1”.
RPMSHIFT
SettheRPMtoturnontheLEDwhenit’stimetoshiftgear.If
youuseanon‐shifterkart,setthissettingtoahighervaluethen
themaxRPMofyourenginetoturntheLEDoff.
RPMBARGRAPHMAX
SetthemaxRPMforthebargraph.Setthissettingtothemax
RPMofyourengine.

UniGo.Youfirstselectthewarningled1‐5,youthenselectthe
channel/sensoryouwanttoconnecttothisLED,andlastyou
decideiftheLEDshouldflashorhaveaconstantlightforthe
MINand/orMAXvalueofthechannel/sensor.E.g.youcanhave
oneledflashingifthewatertempistolowandanotherifitis
toohighorthesameLEDlightisavalueisinside/outsidetwo
values.

zonecorrection.IfyouusingaGPS[6005/8005]thetimeis
automaticallyset.

Underthisoptionyousetthedateanddateformat.Ifyouusing

Thismenuoptioncontainsallthesettingsregardingthedriver.
NAME
Enterthenameofthedriver
RUNMODE
Therunmodeisthescreenthatthedriverseewhendriving.When
youstarttheengineUniGoautomaticallyopenstherunmode.
Youcanalsoopenitmanually:

FromMAINMENUselectRUNMODE.
Inrunmodeyouhavetheoptiontoselectbetweenthreemode
screens,usetheMODEbuttontobrowsebetweenthescreens.
Onthisthreescreensyouhavesomefixeddatae.g.laptimeandlap
number.Youalsohavetheoptiontoselectchannels/sensorsofyour
choice(seeaboveSETUPSCREENSandRPMBargraphMax).
Thethreescreensare:
RunMode1(Isusedtoshowthemaximumnumberofdata)
Itwillshowthelaptime,lapnumberandbestlaptimeatthe
top.Andupto4channels/sensorsofyourchoice.
RunMode2(Isprimarilyusedforshifterkarts)
ItwillshowtheRPMbargraph,laptime,gearindicator,lap
numberandbestlaptimeatthetop.Andupto2
channels/sensorsofyourchoice.
RunMode3(Isforpermanentlydataand2channels/sensor)
Atthetopitwillshowthebestlapandit’slapnumber
permanently,underthatthelastlaptimeandcurrentlap
number.Itwillshow2channels/sensorsofyourchoice,andat
thebottomlineitwillpermanentlyshowthelastlapmaximum
valueforyour2selectedchannels/sensors.

Analyzelapandsplittimes
Thismenuoptioncontainsoffourscreens,youtabthruthescreens
withtheModebutton.
Thethreebestlaptimes
Displaythethreebestlaptimeswithlapnumber,laptime,min
andmaxvalueforthreeselectablechannels.Atthetopitalso
displaythetheoreticallaptime,numberoflaps,maxRPMand
atthebottomthesessionname.
Note!Selectwhichchannelstobedisplayedbypressingthe
Menubutton.
Alllapandsectortimes
Displayalllapswithlapnumber,laptimeandthesplit/sector
times.Atthetopitalsodisplaythebestlaptime,theoreticallap
timeandrollingbesttimeandatthebottomthesessionname.

Bestlapwithminandmaxvalue
DisplayMinandMaxvalueforthefourchannelsyouhave

Theownernameisnotthesameasthedrivername.Theowner
namecouldforinstancebetheteamname.
Theownernameisdisplayedonthestartupscreenwhenyouturn
onUniGoandundertheInfoMenuoption.
Createatextfilecontainingtheownernameonasingleline.
ConnectaUSBcablebetweentheUniGoandthecomputer.
Savethefileas“ownername.txt”totherootfolderonthe
UniGo.
RemovetheUSBcable
Note!Ifnoownernamefileiscreated,thestartupscreenwillshow
theserialnumberinstead.
Problem
RPMsignalinterference
IfyouhaveRPMsignalinterference,youneedtofindthecauseof
theproblem.Itcanbymanydifferentthings,buttheinterferenceis
usuallycausedbytheRPMsignalistooweak/strongoritgets
interferencefromotherwiring.
FirstmakesurethattheRPMwireisrunningalonealltheway
fromtheUniGototheengineignition.
Weaksignal:WraptheRPMwirearoundtheignitionwireafew
turnstogetabettersignal.
Strongsignal:AddadistancebetweentheRPMwireandthe
ignitionwire,andavoidtwistingtheRPMwireroundthe
ignitionwire.
UniGocrashes/hangs/restarts
TominimizethistypeofproblemsitisrecommendtouseaLiPo
battery(p/n:11‐04‐006)oraDC/DCconverter(p/n:11‐04‐007).
FirmwareUpdate
ItisimportantthatyoukeepyourUniGoupdatedwiththelatest
firmware.Thelatestfirmwarefilecanbefoundonthefollowing
siteswww.uniprolaptimer.comorwww.offcamberdata.com.
Note!RemembertodownloadthecorrectfirmwareforourUniGo
model.
UsingaUSBFlashkey
[6005/8005]
Requirements:AUSBFlashKeyforUniGo(p/n:11‐01‐005).
ConnecttheUSBFlashkeytothecomputerwhereyou
downloadedthefirmwarefile.
CopythefirmwarefiletotheFirmwarefolderontheUSBFlash
key.(YoumightneedtocreatetheFirmwarefolder).
TurnonUniGo
ConnecttheUSBFlashkeytotheUniGoUSBport.
OntheUSBMENUselectFirmwareUpdate.
WhentheFirmwareisdownloadedtotheUniGo,removethe
USBFlashkeyandfollowtheinstructionontheUniGodisplay.
UniGowillturnoffwhentheupdateiscomplete.
