self-adhesive vel ro tape to adhere
dete tor to wall, after leaning
wall with supplied wet wipe.
Do not pla e dete tor on floor.

Press test button on the dete tor.
The LED light on telephone
dete tor will illuminate, as will
the yellow LED telephone i on
on remote, whi h will also vibrate.
A beep alert will sound in your
hearing instruments.

on remote to stop test alert.

Hold down test button on the dete tor.
After several se onds, smoke dete tor
will sound a shrill alarm and transmit
a signal to remote. The red LED smoke
i on will illuminate on remote, whi h will
also vibrate. The urgent beep alert will
sound in your hearing instruments.

Press a knowledge button on remote
to stop test alert – see note below for
details on urgent alerts.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Fo u gent ale ts f om
the smoke detecto , beeping, vib ation and
LED icon on emote can be stopped only by
add essing cause of smoke ala m. When testing
the smoke detecto , p essing the acknowledge
button will stop the beeping; the vib ation
and LED continue fo 30 seconds.

Atta h supplied mounting bra ket
at least 20 in/50 m from any
wall next to existing smoke dete tor
or where a smoke dete tor would
be optimally lo ated in your home.
Re-atta h smoke dete tor to
the wall mount bra ket.
Fully extend antenna away from
the smoke dete tor.

with red triangle no more than
1.5 in/3 m from doorbell’s sound
sour e. Use supplied hardware or
self-adhesive vel ro tape to adhere
dete tor to wall, after leaning
wall with supplied wet wipe.
