Incorrect installation could endanger your child.

• You are personally responsible for the safety of your baby at all times.
• NOTICE: For an “i-SIZE enhanced child restraint system”, the user shall also be referred to the vehicle
manufacturer’s handbook.
• Keep this user manual with your MESA i-SIZE Base at all times.
• The MESA i-SIZE Base is for car use only.
• The MESA i-SIZE Base may only be used together with the UPPAbaby MESA i-SIZE Infant Carrier.
• The MESA i-SIZE system should only be used for children 40 – 78 cm and a maximum weight of 13 kg.
• The MESA i-SIZE Base is an ISOFIX system and is only suitable in cars equipped with ISOFIX anchor points.

• Use only original parts approved by the manufacturer.
• Replace the MESA i-SIZE Base and Carrier after an accident.
• The MESA i-SIZE Base cannot be used on an aircraft seat. The MESA i-SIZE Carrier can be used on an
aircraft seat only if authorized by the airline.
WARNING: DO NOT make ANY changes to the UPPAbaby MESA i-SIZE Base or Carrier, as this could
affect the performance of the car seat and render it unsafe.
• Make sure to closely follow the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer.
• When installed in the vehicle, make sure the fold-down rear seat is locked into position.
• Prevent the seat from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or slamming doors.
•Thesupportlegmustalwayshavedirectcontacttothevehicleoor.DO NOT place any objects under
the support leg.
•IftheISOFIXanchorsofyourvehiclearedifculttoaccess,pleaseusetheprovidedISOFIXinsertguides

cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents. (e.g. solvents). Towel dry completely before re-use or storage.
• Press the test button to make sure that the batteries have enough voltage (LED battery symbol indicator
should be green)
• If the electronic interface is not functioning properly and you are using the correct battery type,
please contact your UPPAbaby distributor. Please note: if the battery circuit is interrupted after correct
installation, the product is still safe.

Tenere sempre pulita la Base i-SIZE MESA. Le parti in plastica possono essere pulite con un detergente
neutro e con un panno umido. NON utilizzare detergenti aggressivi. (ad esempio solventi). Tamponare con
un asciugamano prima di riutilizzarlo o di riporlo.
Premere il pulsante di test per accertarsi che le batterie abbiano una tensione sufficiente (l’indicatore del
simbolo della batteria a LED deve essere verde).
Se l’interfaccia elettronica non funziona correttamente e si utilizza il tipo di batteria corretto, contattare
il distributoreUPPAbaby. Nota: se il circuito della batteria viene interrotto dopo una corretta installazione,

Halten Sie die MESA i-SIZE Basis immer sauber. Kunststoffteile können mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel
und einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden. Verwenden Sie KEINE aggressiven Reinigungsmittel (z.B.
Lösungsmittel). Vor der Wiederverwendung oder Aufbewahrung vollständig mit einem Handtuch trocknen.
Drücken Sie den Testknopf zur Kontrolle der Batteriespannung (LED-Batterieanzeige sollte grün leuchten).
Wenn die elektronische Schnittstelle nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, obwohl Sie den richtigen
