NORMAS GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
Esta ESMERILADORA ANGULAR tiene caracte-
rísticas que harán su trabajo más rápido y fácil.
Seguridad, comodidad y confiabilidad fueron
previstos como prioridad para el diseño del
mismo, haciendo más fácil su operación.
ADVERTENCIA: Lea todas las advertencias
de seguridad y todas las instrucciones. La omi-
sión de alguna de las advertencias e instruccio-
nes que se enlistan a continuación puede dar
como resultado un choque eléctrico, fuego y/o
un serio daño.
CONSERVE TODAS LAS ADVERTENCIAS Y

SEGURIDAD EN EL ÁREA DE TRABAJO
Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia y bien ilu-
minada. Las áreas desordenadas y oscuras pro-
vocan accidentes.
No maneje herramientas eléctricas en atmós-
feras explosivas, tales como en presencia de
líquidos inflamables, gases o polvo. Las herra-
mientas eléctricas crean chispas que pueden
encender el polvo o los humos.
Mantenga alejados a los niños y curiosos
mientras maneja una herramienta eléctrica.
Las distracciones pueden causarle la pérdida
del control.
SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA
La clavija de la herramienta eléctrica debe
coincidir con receptáculo. No modificar nunca
la clavija de ninguna manera. No usar ningún
adaptador de clavijas con herramientas eléctri-
cas puestas a tierra. Clavijas no modificadas y
bases coincidentes reducirán el riesgo de cho-
que eléctrico.
Evite el contacto del cuerpo con superficies
puestas a tierra como tuberías, radiadores, co-
cinas eléctricas y refrigeradores. Hay un riesgo
aumentado de choque eléctrico si su cuerpo
está puesto a tierra.
No exponga las herramientas eléctricas a la llu-
via o a condiciones de humedad. El agua que
entre en la herramienta aumentará el riesgo
de choque eléctrico.
No abuse del cable. No usar nunca el cable para
llevar, levantar o desenchufar la herramienta
eléctrica. Mantenga el cable lejos del calor,
aceite, cantos vivos o piezas en movimiento.
Los cables dañados o enredados aumentan el
riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Cuando maneje una herramienta eléctrica en
el exterior, use una prolongación de cable ade-
cuada para uso en el exterior. El uso de una
prolongación de cable adecuada para uso en el
exterior reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.

EXTENSIONES DE CABLE
NOTA: El uso de cables dañados incrementa el
riesgo de descargas eléctricas o quemaduras.
Si es necesario un cable de extensión, debe ser
usado un cable con el tamaño adecuado de los
conductores. La tabla de la siguiente página,
muestra el tamaño correcto para usar depen-
diendo en la longitud del cable y el rango de
amperaje especificado en la etiqueta de valo-
res nominales del producto. Si está en duda,
use el rango próximo más grande.
Siempre use cables de extensión listados en UL,
CSA ó NOM.
TAMAÑOS RECOMENDADOS DE EXTENSIONES
DE CABLE:
Cuando esté usando el producto afuera, use
una extensión para exteriores marcadas con lo
siguiente: “WA” o “W”. Estas extensiones están
pensadas para trabajar en exteriores y reducen
el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
Esté alerta, vigile lo que está haciendo y use el
sentido común cuando maneje una herramien-
ta eléctrica. No use una herramienta eléctrica

cuando esté cansado o bajo la influencia de
drogas, alcohol o medicamentos. Un momento
de distracción mientras maneja herramientas
eléctricas puede causar un daño personal serio.
Use equipo de seguridad. Lleve siempre pro-
tección para los ojos. La utilización para las
condiciones apropiadas de un equipo de segu-
ridad tal como mascarilla antipolvo, zapatos no
resbaladizos, gorro duro, o protección para los
oídos reducirá los daños personales.
Evite un arranque accidental. Asegúrese de
que el interruptor está en posición apagado
antes de conectar a la red y/o a la batería, co-
ger o transportar la herramienta. Transportar
herramientas eléctricas con el dedo sobre el
interruptor o enchufar herramientas eléctricas
que tienen en interruptor en posición encendi-
do invita a accidentes.
Retire llaves o herramienta antes de arrancar
la herramienta eléctrica. Una llave o herra-
mienta dejada unida a una pieza rotativa de
una herramienta eléctrica puede causar un
daño personal.
No se sobrepase. Mantenga los pies bien asen-
tados sobre el suelo y conserve el equilibrio en
todo momento. Esto permite un mejor control
de la herramienta eléctrica en situaciones in-
esperadas.
Vista adecuadamente. No vista ropa suelta o
joyas. Mantenga su pelo, su ropa y guantes
alejados de las piezas en movimiento. La ropa
suelta, las joyas o el pelo largo pueden ser co-
gidos en las piezas en movimiento.
Si hay dispositivos para la conexión de medios
de extracción y recolección de polvo, asegúre-
se de que éstos estén conectados y se usen co-
rrectamente. El uso de estos dispositivos puede
reducir los peligros relacionados con el polvo.
IMPORTANTE: Este aparato no se destina
para utilizarse por personas (incluyendo niños)
cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o menta-
les sean diferentes o estén reducidas, o carez-
can de experiencia o conocimiento, a menos
que dichas personas reciban una supervisión o
capacitación para el funcionamiento del apa-
rato por una persona responsable de su segu-
ridad. Los niños deben supervisarse para ase-
gurar que ellos no empleen los aparatos como
juguete.
UTILIZACIÓN Y CUIDADOS DE LAS
HERRAMIENTAS ELÉCTRICAS
No fuerce la herramienta eléctrica. Use la he-
rramienta eléctrica correcta para su aplicación.
La herramienta eléctrica correcta hará el tra-
bajo mejor y más seguro al ritmo para la que
fue concebida.
No use la herramienta eléctrica si el interrup-
tor no gira “encendido” y “apagado”. Cual-
quier herramienta eléctrica que no pueda con-
trolarse con el interruptor es peligrosa y debe
repararse.
Desenchufe la clavija de la fuente de alimen-
tación y/o de la batería antes de efectuar
cualquier ajuste, cambio de accesorios, o de
almacenar las herramientas eléctricas. Tales
medidas preventivas de seguridad reducen el
riesgo de arrancar la herramienta accidental-
mente.
Almacene las herramientas eléctricas inactivas
fuera del alcance de los niños y no permita el
manejo de la herramienta eléctrica a personas
no familiarizadas con las herramientas o con
estas instrucciones. Las herramientas eléctricas
son peligrosas en manos de usuarios no entre-
nados.
Mantenga las herramientas eléctricas. Com-
pruebe que las partes móviles no estén des-
alineadas o trabadas, que no haya piezas ro-
tas u otras condiciones que puedan afectar la
operación de las herramientas eléctricas. Las
herramientas eléctricas se reparan antes de su
uso, cuando están dañadas. Muchos acciden-
tes son causados por herramientas eléctricas
pobremente mantenidas.
Mantenga las herramientas de corte afiladas y
limpias. Las herramientas de corte mantenidas
correctamente con los bordes de corte afilados
son menos probables de trabarse y más fáciles
de controlar.
Use la herramienta eléctrica, accesorios y pun-
tas de herramienta, etc. de acuerdo con estas
instrucciones y de la manera prevista para el
tipo particular de herramienta eléctrica, te-
niendo en cuenta las condiciones de trabajo
y el trabajo a desarrollar. El uso de la herra-
mienta eléctrica para aplicaciones diferentes
de las previstas podría causar una situación de
peligro.

SERVICIO
Haga revisar su herramienta eléctrica por un
servicio de reparación calificado usando sola-
mente piezas de reemplazo idénticas. Esto ga-
rantizará que la seguridad de la herramienta
eléctrica se mantiene.
ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
PARA CORTADORA DE CERÁMICOS
1. Mantenga las manos lejos del disco de corte
y del área de corte, nunca coloque sus manos
debajo de la pieza de trabajo. El disco gira bajo
la pieza de trabajo y poner las manos cerca del
área de corte, incrementa el riesgo de acciden-
tes.
2. No sujete el material a trabajar en sus manos
en sus piernas, es importante que el material
sea adecuadamente asegurádo con prensa,
esto reducirá el contacto con el cuerpo y la po-
sibilidad de perder el control del equipo.
3. Sostenga la herramienta por el mango du-
rante la operación. No haga funcionar la he-
rramienta en superficies en las que pueda ha-
ber cables eléctricos, tuberías de gas o agua,
escondidos. El contacto con cables eléctricos o
con agua podrían causar descargas eléctricas.
El motor eléctrico genera chispas que, en caso
de contacto con gases inflamables, podría cau-
sar una explosión.
4. Utilice siempre hojas de tamaño correcto y
con orificios redondos. Hojas con formas que
no coinciden con la brida de apoyo sobre el
que van a ser montados trabajarán de forma
irregular, causando la pérdida de control de la
herramienta.
5. Nunca use tornillos y arandelas dañados o
inadecuado, los que se proporcionan con la he-
rramienta se han fabricado especialmente para
su cortadora, ya que proporcionaran el mejor
rendimiento y garantizaran el funcionamiento
seguro del equipo.
6. Nunca conecte o desconecte el aparato de
la toma de corriente si el enchufe o la toma
de corriente están mojados. Primero apague el
circuito (disyuntor o fusible) que da energía a
la herramienta, a continuación retire el enchu-
fe de la toma de corriente y compruebe que el
enchufe y la toma de corriente no tengan la
presencia de agua.
7. Espere a que la hoja se detenga por com-
pleto, tenga en cuenta que hay un período de
movimiento de inercia antes de que la herra-
mienta se detenga después de que se apaga.
8. Utilice sólo los accesorios que fueron dise-
ñados y son compatibles con la velocidad de la
etiqueta de datos de la herramienta y en este
manual.
9. El uso de esta herramienta puede crear o
esparcir el polvo que puede causar enfermeda-
des respiratorias graves y permanentes además
de otras lesiones. Para reducir la exposición a
estas sustancias, trabaje en lugares bien venti-
lados y siempre use mascarilla contra el polvo.
10. Este producto no debe ser utilizado por
personas que puedan perder la conciencia re-
pentinamente, como: epilepsia, baja o alta pre-
sión, insolación, etc.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
CONOZCA SU HERRAMIENTA
Antes de intentar usar este producto, familiarí-
cese con todas sus características de operación
y requerimientos de seguridad.

5. TAPA DE CARBON.
6. ESCALA PARA INCLINACIÓN DE CORTE.
1. Antes de realizar cualquier tipo de ajuste,
cambio de accesorios o guardar la herramienta,
desconecte el equipo de la toma de corriente.

Estas medidas preventivas de seguridad redu-
cen el riesgo de descargas eléctricas y de en-
cender accidentalemente la herramienta.
2. No sobrecargue su herramienta, utilicélo
únicamente con el fin adecuado. Con la herra-
mienta adecuada hará el trabajo de una ma-
nera mejor y más segura. Utilizando las herra-
mientas de poder para fines que son diferentes
de lo señalado en el manual de usuario podría
dar lugar a situaciones peligrosas.
3. Realice el mantenimiento su herramienta.
Compruebe si las piezas móviles están desali-
neadas, dobladas o rotas, o si tienen alguna
condición que pueda afectar el correcto fun-
cionamiento de la máquina. En caso de en-
contrar alguna anomalía que no puede ser
resuelta, o si tiene alguna duda, lleve la herra-
mienta a un centro de servicio antes de usarla
de nuevo. Muchos accidentes son causados por
la falta de mantenimiento correcto de las he-
rramientas eléctricas.
4. Mantenga las herramientas de corte afiladas
y limpias. El mantenimiento adecuado de los
bordes de corte de la herramienta evita que se
doblen y mejora su manejo.
5. Mantenga las manos lejos de la cuchilla de
corte y la zona de corte, nunca ponga sus ma-
nos debajo de la pieza de trabajo, debido a
que la cuchilla de corte puede causar lesiones
graves.
INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
USOS: La máquina está diseñada para el corte
horizontal o ranurado de materiales, principal-
mente minerales como el mármol;
esta debe ser operada con una cubierta protec-
tora y colocada sobre una base firme.
• La máquina está diseñada para cortes hú-
medos en ejecuciones específicas, la máquina
no fue diseñada para cortar plástico, madera
o metal.
ENSAMBLE Y AJUSTES
1. Antes de conectar la herramienta al toma-
corriente, compruebe si la fuente de alimen-
tación local y su herramienta tengan el mismo
voltaje. Compruebe si la herramienta está en
buenas condiciones mediante la realización
de una inspección visual. Si encuentra alguna
anomalia, suspenda su uso inmediatamente y
póngase en contacto con un distribuidor auto-
rizado para su reparación.
2. Para activar la herramienta presione el in-
terruptor de encendido/apagado. Para una
operación contínua presione el interruptor de
traba, para destabarlo presione nuevamente el
interruptor de encendido/apagado.
IMPORTANTE: Para los ajustes de montaje
y desmontaje, la herramienta debe estar siem-
pre apagada, el cable de alimentación debe ser
desenchufado de la fuente de alimentación y
la hoja debe estar detenida.
INSTALANDO Y QUITANDO EL DISCO DE CORTE
PARA INSTALAR:
1. Coloque la hoja en la brida de apoyo.
2. Apriete la tuerca de la brida firmemente con
la llave y, simultáneamente, gire la llave de caja
en sentido contrario.
3. Asegúrese de que el perno esté firmemente
instalado.
4. Utilice sólamente el disco que se recomien-
da, con el diámetro y el grosor correcto.
PARA EXTRAER EL DISCO, realice los pasos del
punto 4 al 1.
AJUSTANDO LA PROFUNDIDAD DE CORTE
Para incrementar o reducir la profundidad de
corte, afloje el tornillo mariposa para ajustar la
profundidad de corte girando en sentido con-
trario a las agujas del reloj. Cuando encuentre
la profundidad deseada, fije la base girando el
tornillo mariposa hacia la derecha.
El usuario puede poner la escala de profundi-
dad de corte en la posición deseada en cual-
quier momento, siempre y cuando el disco no
este en funcionamiento.
Asegúrese de que el tornillo de ajuste de la
profundidad de corte esté ajustado correcta-
mente antes de usar la herramienta.
CORTANDO LA PIEZA DE TRABAJO
· Alinee la parte frontal de la herramienta con
la línea de corte en la pieza de trabajo. Sujete
la herramienta firmemente.
· Coloque la base de la herramienta sobre la
pieza de trabajo sin que lo toque el disco.
· Encienda la herramienta y espere a que el dis-
co llegue a su máxima velocidad.
· Avance la herramienta hacia delante con
suavidad sobre la superficie del material hasta

que finalice el corte. La línea de corte debe ser
continua.
· Esta herramienta se debe utilizar solamente
sobre superficies horizontales.
· Avance suavemente con la herramienta en lí-
nea recta. El forzar, presionar en exceso o dejar
que la hoja se pandee o se atasque durante el
corte puede hacer que el motor se sobrecalien-
te y que la herramienta se sacuda peligrosa-
mente.
· Para cortar más profundamente que 20 mm,
realice dos o más ranuras para evitar que el
motor se atasque.
MANTENIMIENTO
IMPORTANTE: Asegúrese de que la herra-
mienta esté desconectada de la fuente de ali-
mentación y que la hoja se encuentre detenida.
CARBONES
1. Retire la tapa del orificio de acceso a los
carbones, realice inspección de los carbones re-
guarmente. Reemplacelos cuando se encuen-
tren en 6 mm de altura o menos.
2. Mantenga limpios los carbones para que se
muevan libremente en el soporte. Los carbones
deben ser reemplazados al mismo tiempo.
3. Utilice los carbones que especifica el distri-
buidor.
4. Quite los carbones viejs, coloque los nuevos
y coloque nuevamente la cubierta.
SISTEMA DE ENFRIAMIENTO
ATENCIÓN: Utilice el sistema de corte hú-
medo solamente cuando la herramienta esté
protegida con un disyuntor de corriente de
fuga.
• El sistema de corte húmedo sirve para mini-
mizar la formación de polvo en el aire, mejorar
la calidad del corte y prolongar la vida útil del
disco.
· Conecte la manguera a la válvula de flujo.
· Conectar la manguera a la toma de agua.
· Alinee el juego de la válvula reguladora de
flujo con el agujero para el tornillo que se en-
cuentra en el cuerpo de la herramienta.
· Apriete firmemente con el tornillo.
IMPORTANTE: No apriete el tornillo auto-
rroscante para evitar dañar el conjunto de con-
trol de flujo de la válvula.
MANTENIMIENTO PREVENTIVO
MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA. Antes de reali-
zar cualquier operación de limpieza o mante-
nimiento, desconecte la herramienta de la red
eléctrica.
Después de su uso, limpie la herramienta con
un paño húmedo (no vierta agua en la herra-
mienta) y guárdelo en un lugar limpio, seco y
protegido de la humedad y el polvo. Mantenga
sus herramientas fuera del alcance de los niños
y las personas no familiarizadas con el uso del
equipo.
TRANSPORTE
No jale o lleve la herramienta por el cable eléc-
trico, o permita su contacto con bordes filosos,
elementos punzantes, superficies rugosas, pe-
tróleo o productos químicos que puedan dañar
sus propiedades aislantes y flexibles.
No transporte la herramienta con el gatillo blo-
queado en la posición de operación continua.
REPARACIONES
Si es necesario llevar a cabo cualquier repa-
ración o reemplazo de carbones, póngase en
contacto con el centro de servicio técnico más
cercano. Se recomienda el uso de piezas origi-
nales.
El uso de piezas no originales, puede causar la
pérdida de la garantía y a su vez causar daños
al equipo o lesiones al usuario.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Your MARBLE CUTTER has many features that
will make your job faster and easier. Safety,
performance and reliability have been given
top priority in the design of this tool, qualities
to make easy to maintain and to operate.
WARNING: Read and understand all in-
structions. Failure to follow all indications list-
ed below, may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious personal injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
SAFETY IN WORKING AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered benches and dark areas may cause acci-
dents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmo-
spheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Some power tools create
sparks which may provoke fire.
Keep away observers, children and visitors
while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
ELECTRIC SAFETY
Double insulation eliminates the need for the
three wire grounded power cord and ground-
ed power supply system.
Avoid the body contact with grounded surfac-
es such as pipes, radiators and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is grounded.
Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet condi-
tions. The precense of water into power tools
will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse of the power cord. Never use the
power cord to carry the tool and do not pull
the plug off the outlet. Keep the cable away of
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Replace
damaged cords immediately. Damaged cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outside, use an
outdoor extension cord marked “W-A” or “W”.
These cords are rated for outdoor use and re-
duce the risk of electric shock.
EXTENSION CORDS
Replace damaged cords immediately. The use
of damaged cords can shock, burn or electric
shock. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord
with adequate size conductors should be used
to prevent excessive voltage drop, loss of pow-
er or overheating. The table below shows the
correct size to use, depending on cord length
and nameplate amperage rating of tools. In
case of doubt use the next heavier gauge. Al-
ways use UL listed extension cords.
SIZE RECOMMEND EXTENSION CABLES
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool.
Don’t use the tool if you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of unattention while operating pow-
er tools may cause a serious personal injury.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away of moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
Avoid an accidental starting. Be sure that the
switch is OFF before plugging in. Carrying
tools with the finger on the switch or plug in
the tool switch in ON may cause accidents.
Remove the adjusting keys or wrenches be-
fore turning the tool on. A wrench or a key
that is left close to a rotating part of the tool
may provoke a personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. Proper footing and bal-
ance enables better control of the tools on un-
expected situations.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye pro-
tection. Dust mask, nonskid safety shoes, hard
hat, or hearing protection must be used for ap-
propriate conditions.
Before connecting the tool to a power source
(receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the volt-
age supplied is the same as that one specified
on the nameplate of the tool. To use a not
specified voltage may cause a serious injury to
the user as well as damage the tool.

IMPORTANT: This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including children) with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
may be different or reduced, or lack of experi-
ence or knowledge, unless such persons are su-
pervised or trained to operate the product by
a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure they do not use
the devices as toys.
TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
tool for the application. The correct tool will
do the job better and more safely at the rate
that it was designed to work at.
Do not use tools if switch does not turn it on or
off. Any tool that cannot be controlled whith
the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the plug from the power source
before making any adjustments, changing ac-
cessories or storing the tool. This preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of accidental
starting of the tool.
When the power tool is not in use, store it out
of the reach of children, and do not allow in-
dividuals who are not familiar with the power
tool or these instructions to operate it. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands on untrained
users.
Maintain the power tool. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, broken parts,
and any other condition that may affect the
operation of the power tool. If it is damaged,
have it repaired before using. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Check for misalignment or bonding of moving
parts, breakage parts, and any other condition
that may affect the tools operation. If you find
a damaged tool, take it to service before use it.
Use only accessories that are recommended by
the manufacturer of your model. Suitable ac-
cessories for one tool, may become hazardous
when are used on another tool.
Keep cutting tools, sharpened and clean. Cut-
ting tools in good condition with sharpened
edges, are less likely to stuck in workpieces or
easier to control.
Is recommendable to use a safety device suit-
able, such a thermal and diferential switch
when you are using an electric equipment.
SERVICE
Tool service must be perfomed only by quali-
fied repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualified personnel could re-
sult in a risk of injury.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
MARBLE CUTTERS
1. Keep hands away from the cutting blade
and the cutting area, never put your hands
under the workpiece, the disc spins under the
workpiece and putting your hand near the cut-
ting area will increase the risks of accidents.
2. Do not hold the material to be worked in
your hands or put it on your leg, it’s impor-
tant that the material be adequately clamped
down, reducing the contact with the body and
the possibility of losing control of the equip-
ment.
3. Hold your tool by the handle when work-
ing. Do not operate the tool on surfaces un-
der which there might be electrical wires, and
water or gas pipes. The contact with electrical
wires or water might cause electrical shocks.
The electric motor generates sparks that, if in
contact with flammable gases, might cause ex-
plosion.
4. Always use blades of correct sizes and with
round holes. Blades with shapes that don’t
match the backing flange on which they’ll be
assembled will work in an irregular way, caus-
ing loss of control of the tool.
5. Never use damaged or incorrect bolts or
washers, the ones that come with your tool
were specially manufactured for your grinder,
so that they provide the best performance and
guarantee the safe operation of the equip-
ment.
6. Never plug or unplug the tool from the
power outlet if either the plug or the power
outlet is wet. First turn off the circuit (circuit
breaker or fuse) that energizes the tool. Then,
remove the plug from the power outlet and
check the plug and the power outlet for pres-
ence of water.
7. Wait for the blade to come to a complete
stop, note that there is a period of inertial
movement before the tool stops, after it’s
turned off.
8. Use only accessories that are designed and
compatible with the speed informed on the
tool and in this manual.

nent respiratory, and other, injuries. To reduce
the exposure to these substances, work in well-
ventilated places and always use dust mask.

1. Unplug from the power outlet before per-
forming any kind of adjustment, change of
accessory or storing the tool. These preventive
safety measures reduce the risks of electrical
shocks and of turning the tool on by accident;
2. Do not overload your tool, use it only for
the adequate purpose. The correct power tool
will do the job in a better and safer way. Using
the power tools for purposes that are differ-
ent from what is indicated in the manual might
lead to hazardous situations;
3. Perform maintenance on your power tool.
Check if the moving parts are misaligned, bent
or broken, or if they bear any condition that
might affect the correct operation of the ma-
chine.
In case of fi nding an abnormality that can’t be
solved, or if in doubt, have the tool serviced
before using it again.
Many accidents are caused by lack of correct
maintenance of power tools;
4. Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean. The
proper maintenance of the tool’s cutting edg-
es prevents them from bending and improves
handling.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
USE: The machine is intended for the horizon-
tal cutting or slitting of mainly mineral materi-
als such as marble;
it should be operated with a protective guard
and positioned on a firm base.
• The machine is intended for wet cutting in
specific executions; the machine was not made
for cutting wood plastic or metal.
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS
1. Before plugging your tool into the power
outlet, check if the local power supply and
your tool have the same voltage. Check if the
tool is in good conditions by performing a
quick visual inspection.
If any abnormality is found, immediately sus-
pend the use and contact the nearest Schulz
authorized dealer for repair.
2. To turn the tool on press the on/off button.
For continuous use press the lock-on button to
keep the tool operating. Press the on/off but-
ton to unlock.
ATTENTION: For assembly and disassembly
adjustments, the tool must be always turned
off, the power cord must be unplugged from
the power outlet and the blade must be
stopped.
INSTALLING AND REMOVING CUTTING BLADE
INSTALLING:
1. Place the blade on the backing flange.
2. Tighten the flange nut firmly with the
wrench and, simultaneously, turn the socket
tool anti-clockwise.

3. Make sure the bolt is firmly installed.
4. Use only the recommended blade, in correct
diameter and thickness.
TO REMOVE THE DISC, do the mentioned pro-
cedure backwards.
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING DEPTH
· To increase or reduce the cutting depth, loos-
en the bolt to adjust the cutting depth by turn-
ing it anti-clockwise.
· When the desired depth is reached, fix the
base by turning it clockwise.
· The user can put the depth scale in the de-
sired position at any moment.
· Make sure the bolt to adjust the cutting
depth is properly fixed before using the tool.
CUTTING
· Align the front part of the tool with the cut
line on the workpiece. Hold the tool firmly.
· Place the tool base on the workpiece without
the blade touching it.
· Turn on the tool and wait for the blade to
achieve full speed.
· Move the tool forward smoothly on the sur-
face of the material until the cut is finished.
The cut line must be continuous.
· This tool must be used only in horizontal sur-
faces.
· Move the tool smoothly in a straight line.
Forcing, excessively pressing or letting the
blade bend or get stuck in the cut might cause
the motor to overheat and make the tool jolt
dangerously.
· For cutting deeper than 20 mm, make 2 or
more notches to prevent the motor from bog-
ging down.
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Make sure the tool is un-
plugged from the power outlet and the blade
is stopped.
1. Remove the cover of the access port to the
motor brushes and check the brushes regularly.
Replace the motor brushes when they are 6
mm or shorter.
2. Keep the motor brushes clean so that they
move freely on the support. The two motor
brushes must be replaced together.
3. Use only original motor brushes.
4. Remove the old motor brushes, insert the
new ones and fix the cover.
ASSEMBLING THE WET CUTTING SYSTEM
ATTENTION: Use the wet cutting system
only when the tool is protected by a circuit
breaker for stray voltage.
• The wet cutting system is used to reduce the
dust production in the air, improve the qual-
ity of the cut and increase the life span of the
blade.
· Connect the hose to the flow control valve.
· Connect the hose to the water supply point.
· Align the flow control valve set with the hole
for the screw on the body of the tool.
· Tighten it firmly with the screw.
IMPORTANT: Do not tighten the self tap-
ping screw to avoid damaging the flow control
valve set.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING. Before per-
forming any cleaning or maintenance, unplug
the tool from the power grid.
After use, clean the tool with a damp cloth
(do not pour water on the tool) and store it
in a clean, dry place protected from moisture
and dust. Keep your tool out of reach of chil-
dren and people unfamiliar with the use of the
equipment.
TRANSPORTATION
Do not pull or carry the tool by the electric cord
or allow its contact with edges, sharp elements,
rough surfaces, oil or chemicals that may dam-
age its flexible and insulating properties.
Do not move the tool with the trigger locked
in the “on” position.
REPAIRS
If required to perform any repair or replace-
ment of the electric motor brushes, contact the
nearest service center. Original parts must be
used. The use of non-original parts results in
warranty loss and may cause damage to the
equipment or injury.
