SCUBAPRO JAWZ TI™ GUIDE
SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ is designed to improve personal safety and effectiveness during
underwater or surface operations, as well as low visibility, emergency, and survival situations.
All LIFELINE Tactical Rescue Tools have their own unique design features, each engineered
to serve a specic purpose and function. Proper use ensures both the effectiveness and
performance of the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ in the eld and increases personal safety.
With the provided Quick Clip, the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ can be quickly attached to the
BCD shoulder D-ring. This is the ideal position for it. The silicone band can be used to secure
the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ to the shoulder strap, or it can naturally hang from the BCD’s
D-ring. This attachment conguration provides easier access to it during an emergency
since it hangs straight down during normal diving. It also puts the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ in
your line of sight, again, for ease of use, deployment and re-sheathing.
The phosphorescent/glow-in-the-dark handles and sheath are pow¬ered by the sun. Simply
place it in direct sunlight and allow time to charge on both sides.

IMPORTANT NOTICES
Always handle the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ with care. It is meant to be used in emergency
situations only for rescue purposes. It has not been designed to withstand wear and tear
over time by common everyday use.
When performing regular care of the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™, it is extremely important that
it is sheathed and unsheathed with the spine pressed against the interior opening of the
sheath.
Avoid touching the sheath with the serrated edge of the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™. The
serrations are sharp enough to cause damage to the polypropylene sheath.
Always handle the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ with one hand. Use one hand to insert and
disengage it from the sheath. The SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ should not be used or removed
from the sheath using both hands.

STRONG DOWNWARD PRESSURE WHEN IN USE.

SCUBAPRO JAWZ TI™ MAINTENANCE
Clean the SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ with hot water and detergent. Rinse with fresh water.
Lubrication of steel components with oil/silicone is optional with the SCUBAPRO JAWZ
Ti™ as it is manufactured from corrosion-resis¬tant titanium alloy. However, complete
maintenance practices benet both longevity and effectiveness.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Before storing, inspect your SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ to make sure all components are sound
and in working order and that there are no damages on it. If any damage is detected, have
it serviced only by trained personnel and/ or a SCUBAPRO authorized dealer. Store them
in a dry, cool place (between + 5° ÷ + 20° C) and out of direct sunlight. 


PERIOD OF USE
The lifespan/duration of use of this product cannot be dened in general. Various factors
such as storage conditions, level of care, frequency of usage and the eld of application
will inuence the lifespan/duration of use. Extreme usage conditions can lead to excessive
damage that may result in the product being no longer t for use. Factors such as an
aggressive environment or exposure to chemicals may damage the product beyond repair.
Under the following circumstances, the product should no longer be used and has to be
checked by an authorized SCUBAPRO dealer:
• Damage to the material or parts essential for safety, (e.g., closer).
• Damage to the plastic and/or metal parts (e.g. screws)
• When the product no longer appears to be generally safe and reliable
• When the product no longer meets the technical standards (e.g., changes in legal
provisions, safety guidelines)
WARRANTY
All warranty claims must be returned with dated proof-of-purchase to an authorized
SCUBAPRO dealer. Visit www.scubapro.com for the dealer nearest you.
European Union markets: the warranty of this product is governed by European legislation
in force in each EU member state.
Warranty does not cover:
- Loss
- Defects, damage or deterioration due to normal use or wear and tear
- Damage caused by exposure to excessive heat, prolonged sunlight or corrosive
chemicals
- Damage due to poor maintenance, improper use, alteration, negligence or accident
- Damage due to repair by someone other than SCUBAPRO or an authorized
SCUBAPRO dealer

Nástroj SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ je navržen tak, aby zvyšoval osobní bezpečnost a efektivitu
při operacích pod vodou nebo na hladině, stejně jako při snížené viditelnosti, v nouzových
situacích a při přežití. Všechny taktické záchranné nástroje LIFELINE mají své vlastní
jedinečné konstrukční prvky, z nichž každý je navržen tak, aby sloužil konkrétnímu účelu a
funkci. Správné používání zajišťuje účinnost a výkonnost nástroje SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™
v terénu a zvyšuje osobní bezpečnost.
Pomocí přiloženého rychloupínáku lze SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ rychle připevnit k ramennímu
D-kroužku BCD. To je pro něj ideální pozice. Silikonový pásek lze použít k upevnění
SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ na ramenní popruh nebo jej lze přirozeně zavěsit na D-kroužek
BCD. Tato kongurace upevnění umožňuje snadnější přístup k němu v případě nouze,
protože při běžném potápění visí přímo dolů. Díky tomu máte SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™
v zorném poli, což opět usnadňuje použití, nasazení a opětovné nasazení.
Fosforeskující/ve tmě svítící rukojeti a plášť jsou napájeny sluncem. Jednoduše ji umístěte
na přímé sluneční světlo a nechte ji nabíjet z obou stran.

S nástrojem SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ zacházejte vždy opatrně. Je určen pouze k použití
v nouzových situacích pro záchranné účely. Není navržen tak, aby odolával opotřebení
běžným každodenním používáním.
Při pravidelné péči o nůž SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ je nesmírně důležité, aby byl nasazen
a rozepnut s hřbetem přitisknutým k vnitřnímu otvoru pouzdra.
Zubatým okrajem nože SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ se nedotýkejte pláště. Vroubky jsou
dostatečně ostré, aby poškodily polypropylenový plášť.
S nástrojem SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ manipulujte vždy jednou rukou. Jednou rukou jej
zasuňte a vyjměte z pouzdra. Přístroj SCUBAPRO JAWZ Ti™ by se neměl používat ani
vyjímat z pouzdra oběma rukama.
