Thank you for purchasing the VTech®Frozen II Magic Learning Tablet!
Go on a journey of discovery with Anna and Elsa! The VTech®Frozen II
Magic Learning Tablet includes six exciting activities that help to reinforce
the learning of letters, phonics, spelling, matching and problem solving.

WARNING: All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, wire
ties and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your
child’s safety.
NOTE: Please keep this parent’s guide as it contains important information.
Unlock the packaging locks:
GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of
the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to loosen
the screw.
3. Install 2 new AA (LR6/AM-3) batteries
into the compartment as illustrated.
(The use of new alkaline batteries is
recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the
screw to secure.
Rotate the packaging lock 90
degrees anticlockwise.
Pull out the packaging lock and
discard.

BATTERY NOTICE
• Use new alkaline batteries or fully charged NI-MH (Nickel Metal-hydride)
rechargeable batteries for best performance.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or
rechargeable, or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Donotdisposeofbatteriesinre.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES AND PRODUCT
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries,
or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be
disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can
be damaging to the environment and human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that
the battery contains more than the specied value of mercury
(Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in Battery Directive
(2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market
after 13th August, 2005.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF BUTTON
To turn the unit on, press the On/Off Button. Press the On/Off Button again
to turn the unit off.
2. 6 ACTIVITY BUTTONS
Press one of the Activity Buttons to choose any of the 6 activities.
3. LETTER BUTTONS
Press the Letter Buttons to learn about letters or to answer letter-related
questions.
4. ARROW BUTTONS
Press the Arrow Buttons to navigate on the screen or to select an option.
5. OK BUTTON
Press the OK Buttontoconrmaselection.

6. 3 CHARACTER BUTTONS
Press the 3 Character Buttons (Olaf, Anna and Elsa) to see and hear fun
responses related to that character. The responses will differ depending on
the activity selected.
7. SETTINGS BUTTON
Press this button to adjust the screen contrast and volume. There are 3 steps
to adjust the screen contrast and 3 steps to adjust the volume level. Use the
Left Arrow Button to reduce the volume level or contrast, or use the Right
Arrow Button to increase the volume level or contrast, then press the OK
Buttontoconrm.
8. MUSIC ON/OFF BUTTON
Press this button to turn the background music on or off.
9. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech®Frozen II Magic Learning Tablet will
automatically turn off after several minutes of inactivity. The unit can be turned
on again by pressing the On/Off Button. The unit will also automatically turn
off when the batteries are very low. A warning will be displayed on screen as
a reminder to change the batteries.
TO BEGIN PLAY
• Press the On/Off Button to turn the unit On. A short animation will be
played and you will be asked to select an activity.
• Press an Activity Button to play. Press one of the 3Character Buttons
to see and hear fun responses related to that character.

ACTIVITIES
1. Letters with Olaf
Let’s learn with Olaf! Press the Letter Buttons to learn
about letters, phonics, words and objects.
Press one of the 3 Character Buttons to see the
beginning letter of the character’s name or for fun
responses related to that character.
2. Forest Escape
Anna and Elsa are trapped in the forest. Type the letters
tohelpthemndthewayout.
There are 3 levels. The difculty level will change
depending on your progress.
Press one of the 3 Character Buttons to see the
beginning letter of the character’s name.
3. The Nokk
The Nokk is testing Elsa’s powers. To help Elsa continue
her journey, complete the spelling using the letters in
the water. Press the Letter Buttons, or press the Left
or Right Arrow Button to choose a letter, then press
the OK Buttontoconrm.
There are 3 levels. The difculty level will change
depending on your progress.
Press one of the 3 Character Buttons to see the spelling
of the character’s name.
4. Elsa’s Thoughts
Help Olaf work out what Elsa is thinking.
A picture will be shown on the left side of the screen.
Press the Left or Right Arrow Button to choose an
object that goes with the picture, then press the OK
Buttontoconrm.
Press one of the 3 Character Buttons to see and hear
fun responses related to that character.

5. The Shipwreck
Anna and Elsa have discovered a shipwreck. Match or complete the pictures
to help solve the curse.
Press the Left or Right Arrow Button to match or complete the picture, then
press the OK Buttontoconrm.
Thereare3levels.Thedifcultylevelwillchangedependingonyourprogress.
Level 1 Choose the object that matches the shadow.
Level 2 Rotate the object to match the shadow.
Level 3 Choose the other half to complete the
picture.
Press one of the 3 Character Buttons to see and hear fun responses related
to that character.
6. Olaf Needs the Cloud

Press the Left or Right Arrow Button to move Olaf
andkeephimunderhisurry.
There are 3 levels. The difculty level will change

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of
time.
4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to excess
moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please
follow these steps:
1. Turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of batteries.
