GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION – REINDEER
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the
bottom of the Reindeer. Use a coin or
a screwdriver to loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03)
batteries following the diagram inside
the battery box. (The use of new
alkaline batteries is recommended for
maximum performance).
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten
the screw to secure.
WARNING:
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging
locks, removable tags, cable ties and packaging screws are not
part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE:
Please keep the parent’s guide as it contains important information.

PRODUCT FEATURES – REINDEER
1. ON/OFF SWITCH
To turn the Reindeer ON, slide the
ON/OFF SWITCH to the ON ( )
position. To turn the Reindeer OFF,
slide the ON/OFF SWITCH to
the OFF ( ) position.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
 Topreservebatterylife,theReindeerincludedwiththeVTech®
Toot-Toot Animals Advent Calendar will automatically shut off
after approximately 65 seconds without input. The unit can be
turned ON again by pressing the light up button or pushing the
Reindeer.
NOTE: This product is in TRY-ME mode in the packaging. After
openingthepackage,turntheanimalOFF and then ON
again to proceed with normal play. If the unit shuts off while
playing,wesuggestchangingthebatteries.
ACTIVITIES – REINDEER
1. Slide the ON/OFF SWITCH to the
ON position to turn the unit ON.
Youwillhearasong,aphraseand
sounds. The light will flash with the
sounds.

2. Press the LIGHT UP BUTTON to
hearReindeersounds,songsand
phrases. The light will flash with the
sounds.
3. Push the Reindeer to hear fun
sounds and melodies. While
themelodyisplaying,pushthe
Reindeer again to add in fun
sounds on top of the melody. The
light will flash with the sounds.
4. Foraddedfun,theReindeerinteractswiththeVTech®Toot-Toot
Animals Advent Calendar. Simply roll or place the Reindeer
on the play set SmartPointTM location to hear the Reindeer play
Christmasphrases,funsoundsandshorttunes.Youcanalso
play with the Reindeer on other VTech®Toot-Toot Animals play
sets (each sold separately).

The Advent Calendar includes one SmartPointTM location that
interacts with the included Reindeer or any other Toot-Toot
Animals SmartPointTM animal (each sold separately). Simply
roll or place the animal over a SmartPointTM location to hear fun
sounds and phrases.

2. ACTIVITIES – ADVENT CALENDAR
1. The Advent Calendar features one gift box which includes 24
windows for counting down to Christmas with a gift in each one.
Everyday your child can open a window to receive a fun gift until
it is Christmas day!
2. One SmartPointTM location plate is included. Use the sticker on
the underside of the plate to stick it to the gift box. Ensure the
sticker tape is disposed of correctly away from your child.
