heateratfullyopenedtapautomatically
supplies
large
quantities
of hotwater,at
about half-openedtap,smaller
quantities.
By mixingin coldwater
you canadjustto
any requiredlowertemperature.Onclosing
the tap the applianceautomaticallycuts
out or changesto heating.
Domestic hot waler switch
Thisswitch is intendedfor usewhenthe
heatingsystemis turnedoff for a long
periods
(heating
switch must be in "OFF"-
position).
It will provide
a "top-up" of heat
to keep
the water in the boiler
warm.
However,the use
of this switch isoptional
and we wouldgenerally
recommend
thisswitch
isleftinthe
"OFF"-position
throughoutthe year.
Should
you- on opening
the hotwater
tap- obtainan insufficientwatersupply,
please
checkif a possibly
installed
water
cock @ aheadof thetap is
fully
opened.
Alsocheckif sediments
obstruct
theout-
flow regulator
@ insidethe spout.
For
cleaning
thisjust unscrew
it anticlockwise
out of the spout.
Thesupply
of hotwater
precedes
the heatingsystem,
yet
hasno
disturbingeffect
on thesteady
heatingof
vour rooms.

Clean

with a damp clothanda littlesoap.
Do not useanyabrasive
or dissolving

ning
material

damage

enamel
or plastic
fittings.
It is recommended
thatthe heater
receives
an annualservice
to ensure
that it con-
tinues
to work safely
andefficiently.
En-
quireat your installeror local
gasregion
for detailsof a servicing
scheme.
Please
makesure
thateven
in your
ab-
sence
the heatingsystem
remains
in
operation
during periods
of possible
frost
so thatthe rooms
aresufficiently
heated.
