INSTALLATION ABOVE THE COOKER HOOD
Vallox duct fan is designed to be mounted on top of
the cooker hood or as an extract air fan in the ceiling
structures of the kitchen or the bathroom, for example.
The duct fan has one exhaust air outlet collar and three
extract air outlet collars, two of which can be plugged.
The plugs are delivered with the duct fan. This enables
using the duct fan as a cooker fan or a house extract
fan. The duct fan has a service door through which the
fan can be serviced without disconnecting the duct.
The duct fan is compatible with the Vallox Delico PTD
EC cooker hood. The duct fan can also be paired with
other cooker hoods that are suited to controlling EC
fans. The instructions provided in this manual only apply
to installation when the Vallox Delico PTD EC cooker
hood is used.
The duct fan can also be installed without a cooker
hood, in which case the duct fan is controlled by means
of a separate control panel.
Install the cooker hood below the duct fan in
accordance with the instructions provided with the
cooker hood. Connect the feed and control cables
of the hood to the duct fan as shown in the wiring
diagram.

PERFORMANCE VALUES
MAINTENANCE OF THE DUCT FAN
1. Remove the cover panel or spice cabinet above the
cooker hood.
2. Unscrew the screws of the duct fan’s service door
(10 pcs).
3. Open the fastening nuts, washers, and damper
rubbers of the fan and remove the fan.
4. Service the fan and sweep the ducts where
required.
5. Assemble in reverse order.
