INSTALLATION MANUAL
H5/6-WPK
Description
The H5/6-WPK electrical housing with a snap-in socket
installs in the Valor H5 and H6 fireplaces to provide
power for the fan kit 1195CFK or WiFi kit.
Installation
1. Make sure supply power is disconnected before
proceeding. See Wiring Diagram in the fireplace’s
installation manual for all details.
2. Thread the home's electrical wire inside the appli-
ance casing on the left hand side using an approved
wire clamp for the type of wire used (not included).
Do not tighten the wire clamp just yet to allow for
wire adjustment.
3. In the front left corner of the appliance case, slide
the junction box tab into the slot of the appliance
case located right behind the cable clamp. Ensure
the wires are not pinched between the junction box
and the appliance case..
4. Connect the corre-
sponding wires and
cap them with wire
nuts.
5. Tuck the wires inside
the junction box and
hold it against the
appliance case while
pushing any excess
wire out through the wire clamp.
6. Tighten the wire clamp outside of appliance case.
7. Secure the junction box to the appliance (1 screw).

Description
La boîte de jonction avec prise H5/6-WPK s’installe dans
les foyers Valor H5 et H6 pour fournir l’alimentation
électrique au ventilateur ou au WiFi.
Installation
1. Débranchez le courant électrique alimentant le
foyer. Voir le Schéma des connexions dans le guide
d’installation du foyer pour tous les détails.
2. Insérez le câble électrique dans la caisse de l'appar-
eil du côté gauche en utilisant une bague de serrage
certifiée pour le type de câble utilisé.
Ne serrez pas la bague tout de suite afin de per-
mettre l'ajustement du câble.
3. Placez la boîte de jonction dans la caisse de l’appar-
eil sur le devant à gauche, puis insérez sa languette
dans la fente située juste derrière la bague de ser-
rage. Assurez-vous que les fils ne soient pas pincés
entre la boîte de jonction et la paroi de l’appareil.

4. Branchez les fils
correspondants et
couvrez-les avec des
connecteurs de fil.
5. Placez les fils dans la
boîte de jonction et
placez la boîte contre
la paroi de gauche de
la caisse de foyer tout
en poussant vers l’extérieur le câblage en excès.
6. Serrez la bague de serrage.
7. Fixez la boîte de jonction à l’appareil (1 vis).
