BSK602 Barrier Screen Kit

CSA approved for use ONLY with Valor Cast Front model 602CFB
Barrier Screen
A Barrier Screen is being provided to you to install on the Cast Iron Front
602CFB. The barrier screen is designed specifically to prevent any contact
with the glass of the fireplace which becomes hot during operation and
remains hot when cooling.
Install the barrier screen to the Cast Iron Front
Place the barrier screen on the lower casting ledge to align it to the upper
casting and push it against the upper casting so the clips snap into place.
To remove the barrier screen for maintenance, push it sideways and pull on
the opposite side then remove it completely. Use a soft brush to clean the
screen.
To clean the fireplace cast front, use a soft brush.
If the barrier becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with the
manufacturer’s barrier for this appliance.
To clean the stove glass window, refer to the owner’s manual supplied with
the appliance. DO NOT clean with ammonia.

Grille de protection
Une Grille de protection est fournie pour installer sur la Devanture de fonte
602CFB. La grille de protection est conçue spécialement pour prévenir tout con-
tact avec la vitre du foyer qui devient chaude lorsqu’il est allumé et qui demeure
chaude lorsqu’il refroidit, une fois éteint.
Installez la grille de protection à la Devanture de fonte
Placez la grille de protection sur le bord de la section du bas pour l’aligner avec
la section du haut. Pressez la grille contre la section du haut afin que les crochets
s’y enclenchent.
Pour enlever la grille pour la nettoyer, poussez-la sur un côté et tirez sur l’autre
côté pour dégager ses crochets. Utilisez une brosse souple pour la nettoyer.
Pour nettoyer la devanture de fonte utilisez une brosse souple.
Si la grille est endommagée, elle doit être remplacée par la grille conçue par
le manufacturier pour cet appareil.
Pour nettoyer la vitre de la fenêtre, consultez le guide du consommateur fourni
avec le foyer. NE PAS nettoyer la vitre avec un produit à base d’ammoniaque.
