WARNING:
Before starting any exercise program, it is recommended that you consult your physician, especially for
persons with pre-existing health problems. Before using the new equipment, please review this manual
to learn about the features, functions, and safety operations. Should you experience any irregular
physical conditions such as dizziness, severe muscle or joint pain, pain in your chest or should any
other symptoms appear: STOP EXERCISING and consult with your physician immediately.

SAFETY TIPS AND PRECAUTIONS:
1. Read all instructions in this manual before using this equipment. It is the owner’s responsibility
to ensure that all users of this equipment are thoroughly informed of all warnings and
precautions. Use this equipment for its intended use as described in this manual.
2. Securely tighten all nuts and bolts and inspect and tighten all parts each time you use the
equipment. **Replace any worn parts immediately and if you find that any repairs are needed,
please keep the equipment out of use until repair.**
3. The safety level of the equipment can be maintained only if it is examined regularly for damage
and wear.
4. No more than one person should operate the equipment at one time.
5. To avoid any possibility of being struck by or caught between moving parts, by-standers should
not be within reach of the Elliptix Cross Trainer while it is in motion.
6. Keep your hands away from moving parts other than the designated handles.
7. Keep small children and pets away from the equipment at all times.
8. It is recommended that you do not initiate any type of exercising within 40 minutes after a meal.
9. Warm up before you start exercising to prevent injuries.
10. Appropriate clothing should be worn while exercising. Never wear loose clothing that could be
caught in moving parts. It is recommended that athletic support clothing be worn for both men
and women. Athletic shoes should always be worn while exercising. DO NOT USE with bare
feet, wearing sandals, or wearing only socks or stockings.
11. The user’s max weight to operate the equipment is 250 lbs.
12. The equipment should only be used on a level surface and is designed for indoor use only.
13. Never use the equipment around water or while you are wet. Using the unit around a pool, hot
tub or sauna will void the warranty and is potentially hazardous.

STEP 1
Starting with the Rear Stabilizer (L) fasten it to the Main Frame (A)
using 2 Allen Bolts (05).

STEP 2
Slide the Handlebar Post (B) into the Main Frame (A). Please ensure
the Cable Wire (70) does not get pinched and is pulled all the way
through to the front of the Handlebar Post (B).

STEP 3
Using your fingers reach through the hole on the bottom front of the
Handlebar Post (B) and pull out Cable Wire (70) and Cable Wire (68).
Connect the two cables together and push back into the hole. Then
fasten the Main Frame (A) and the Handlebar Post (B) using 6 Allen
Bolts (06) and 6 Spring Washers (08) with the Allen Hex Wrench
provided.

STEP 4
Attach the Front Stabilizer (M) to the Handlebar Post (B) using 2 Allen Bolts (05).
Remove the preassembled parts on the Steel Disc (N) and the Axle (D1) on the
Movable Handlebar Post (D/C) and set all of these removed parts aside, do not
mix them up (see diagram in STEP 6 for the parts needed to be removed and
then reassembled later in STEP 6). On the Steel Disc Axel (N) unscrew and
remove one Allen Bolt (16), one Washer (15), one Protecting Cover (14), one
Washer (15), one Snap-Ring (04), one Washer (03), the Plastic Roller (P), one
Wave Washer (86) and one Bushing (02). Next on the Axle (D1) of the Movable
Handlebar Post (D/C) unscrew and remove one Allen Bolt (16), one Washer (15),
One Protecting Cover (14), one Washer (15) and one Snap-Ring (04). Repeat
steps above on the other side of the Steel Disc Axle (N) and the Axle (D1) on
the Movable Handlebar (D/C).

STEP 5
Attach the Left front side of the Connecting Tube (K) to the Left
Handlebar (D). Then slide the other end of the Connecting Tube (K)
onto the Steel Disc Axle (N). Repeat connection on the Right hand side
of the Machine.

STEP 6
The parts removed in STEP 4 will need to be reassembled on the Steel Disc Axle
(N) and the Axle (D1) of the Handlebar Post (D). On the Axle (D1) of the
Handlebar post (D) push on the Snap Ring (04) until it pops into its grove using the
Socket Tool provided (a rubber hammer may be needed to firmly place Snap Ring
in place. Please use rubber hammer GENTLY). After the Snap Ring is in place
attach one Washer (15), Protecting Cover (14) and another Washer (15) on one
Allen Bolt (16) and attach to the Connecting Tube (K).
On the Steel Disc Axle (N) slide one Bushing (02), one Wave Washer (86), one
Plastic Roller (P) and one Washer (03) onto the Steel Disc Axle (N). Push on the
Snap Ring (04) until it pops into its grove using the Socket Tool provided (a rubber
hammer may be needed to firmly place Snap Ring. Please use Rubber Hammer
GENTLY). Then place one Washer (15), Protecting Cover (14) and another
Washer (15) on the one Allen Bolt (16) and attach to the Steel Disc Axle (N).
Repeat above on the other side.

STEP 7
Insert the Left Pedal Arm (H) to the Handlebar Post (D) and tighten using
6 Spring Washers (29) and 6 Allen Bolts (28). Place the back half of the
Left Pedal Arm (H) onto the top of Plastic Roller attached to the Steel
Plate Axel (N). Repeat the process above on the Right Pedal Arm (I).

STEP 8
Attach the Left Pedal Arm Holder Bracket (Q) to the Connecting Tube (K)
with 2 Allen Bolts (05). Repeat the process above on the Connecting
Tube (J).
Connecting the Computer (67) cable wires (68 & 69) to the Cable Wires
(68 & 69) coming out of the Handlebar Post (B). Then affix the
Computer (67) to the Computer Support Plate using 4 screws (63).

STEP 9
Fasten the upper Left Moveable Handlebar (F) to the Lower Left
Handlebar (D) by using 2 Carriage Bolts (60), Semicircle Washers (61)
and Dome Nuts (62). Repeat the process above on the Right Moveable
Handlebar (E).
Insert the Stationary Handlebar (G) to the top of the Handlebar Post (B)
and fasten using 2 Cross Screws (30).
Attach the Water Bottle Holder (77) onto the Handlebar Post (B)
and fasten with 2 Screws (78).

FUNCTION BUTTONS
USER To STORE the User’s data settings: Name,
Height, Weight, Age and Sex (U1 – U4).
PROGRAM To choose one of the preset PROGRAMS P1 thru
P14.
UP To adjust data UP and move to the next function
values, enter letters to the User’s name and
PROGRAM setup as well as increase the LEVEL
while exercising.
DOWN To adjust data DOWN and move to the previous
function values, enter letters to the User’s name
and PROGRAM set up as well as reduce the
LEVEL while exercising.
ENTER To confirm values, letters of the User’s name and
program profile settings.

PULSE /
RECOVERY
Press PULSE/RECOVERY to receive a current heart rate and to
get the heart rate recovery status (F1 – F6) after exercising.
MODE Press MODE to enter one of the following functions: SCAN,
LEVEL, RPM and WATT.
START /
STOP
To START or STOP the Computer or hold this key to reset.
EXIT In the pause mode, press exit to go back to the last function.
FUNCTIONS
SPEED Displays the current speed while exercising.
AVG SPEED After finishing an exercise routine press the START/STOP key
and the AVERAGE SPEED will be displayed.
DISTANCE Accumulates current and total distance. The User may also set
a target distance by pressing the UP or DOWN keys.
PULSE Placing the User’s palms on the handlebar grip sensors the
computer will display the heart rate while exercising. Holding
both hands on the Pulse Sensor Grips for 30 seconds to one
minute, the current heart rate, Beats Per Minute (BPM) will
display on the computer. If using only one hand the BPM will be
unstable. We suggest the User hold on to the grips while getting
the User’s current heart rate. If no pulse is detected for 16
seconds the display will indicate a “P.”
CALORIES Accumulates current and total calories worked off. The User may
also set a target calorie by pressing the UP and DOWN keys.
Once reaching the setting value the computer will beep and then
the CALORIES will start counting up.
TIME Accumulates current and total work out time. The User may also
set a target time by pressing the UP and DOWN keys. Once
reaching the set value, the computer will produce a beep and
then the TIME will start counting up.

SCAN The window will display the LEVEL, RPM and WATT function
sequentially.
LEVEL To display the RESISTANCE LEVEL (LEVEL) from 1 to 16.
RPM To display the ROTATION PER MINUTE (RPM).
WATTS To display the WATTS value.
RECOVERY After exercising, for example a half hour holds on to the grips
and press “RECOVERY”. The computer will stop all the
functions displayed and set a time of 60 seconds and count
down to 0. After the time is down to zero the computer will
show the User’s heart rate status with a grade of F1, to F6, F1
being the best and F6 the worst. *Improve User heart rate
status with a regular exercise routine.
USER The computer can store up to four User programs. To
program in a User’s information, press the USER key and a
message will display USER DATA. If the user does not want
to activate this feature it can be bypassed by going straight to
programs.
1. Use the UP or DOWN keys to select a U1 thru U4, then
press the ENTER key.
2. Use the UP or DOWN keys to select each letter of the
User’s name, after each letter press ENTER. Press
ENTER to confirm the User name.
3. Use the UP or DOWN keys to enter the User’s HEIGHT,
press ENTER to confirm.
4. Use the UP or DOWN keys to enter the User’s WEIGHT,
and press ENTER to confirm.
5. Use the UP or DOWN keys to enter the User’s AGE,
press ENTER to confirm.
6. Use the UP or DOWN keys to enter the User’s SEX (1 for
male and 0 for woman), and press ENTER to confirm.

(PROGRAM 1-7)
The PRESET PROGRAM includes seven profiles (P1 – P7).
Press the PROGRAM function to get to one of the seven
profiles. Press ENTER after choosing a preset program.
Press the UP or DOWN key to set the desired TIME,
DISTANCE, CALORIES AND LEVEL of a preset program
profile. After selection press ENTER to confirm. Press the
START/STOP key to begin the exercise.

USER PROGRAM
(PROGRAM 8)
The USER PROGRAM is designed so a user can set up
their own exercise routine. Press the PROGRAM key
until PROGRAM 8 then press the ENTER key. And press
the UP or DOWN key to set the desired TIME,
DISTANCE, CALORIES AND LEVEL. After every
selection the User must press ENTER to confirm. Press
the START/STOP key to begin the exercise.
PROGRAM 8 (INDIVIDUAL):
WATT CONTROL
(PROGRAM 9) The WATT control program is designed for constant
power so when the speed is too slow the LEVEL will
increase and when the speed is too fast the LEVEL will
automatically decrease. Press the PROGRAM key until
PROGRAM 9 then press the ENTER key. Press the UP
or DOWN keys to set the desired TIME, DISTANCE,
CALORIE and WATT. After every selection the User
must press ENTER to confirm. Press the START/STOP
key to begin the exercise.

TARGET HEART
RATE
(PROGRAM 10-13)
The TARGET H.R. FUNCTION is designed for the computer to
advise the User of a target heart rate for optimum cardio workout.
The computer will adjust the LEVEL according to the heart rate
detected.
PROGRAM 10: 60% OF THE USER’S MAX HEART RATE
PROGRAM 11: 75% OF THE USER’S MAX HEART RATE
PROGRAM 12: 85% OF THE USER’S MAX HEART RATE
PROGRAM 13: USER’S CHOICE OF %. It can be from
50% to 95% and a 5% increase in each level.
*Always, consult a physician to find out the proper heart rate
for the User.
Press PROGRAM key to select a TARGET H.R. PROGRAM (10 –
13), press the ENTER key. Use the UP or DOWN key to select
TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIE. After every selection the User must
press ENTER to confirm. Press START/STOP to begin the
exercise.
PROGRAM 10 – 13 :
BODY FAT
MEASUREMENT
(PROGRAM 14)
Press PROGRAM key to select PROGRAM 14, press enter to
confirm. Use the UP or DOWN keys to enter the User’s HEIGHT,
WEIGHT, AGE and SEX (sex - 1 for male gender and 0 for female
gender.) Press ENTER after each selection. Press the
START/STOP key and place hands on the HAND PULSE
SENSOR. The computer will start the BODY FAT TEST, once
completed a message window will display the results. Press UP or
DOWN to see each of the following; FAT PERCENTAGE, BMR -
BASAL METABOLIC RATE (metabolism), BMI – BODY MASS
INDEX, FAT WEIGHT or BODY TYPE. Press ENTER to get to the
BODY TYPE exercise profile (see diagrams below A thru I). Press
START/STOP to begin exercise.
