General Safety Instructions
For your safety and prevention of damage to the Product, please read and observe carefully
the following safety instructions prior to installation and operation. Keep this manual well for
future reference.
-Do not disassemble or otherwise modify the Product. Such action may cause heat
generation, ignition, electronic shock, or other damages including human injury, and may
void your warranty.
-Keep away from heat source, such as heater, heat dissipater, or engine casing.
-Do not insert foreign materials into the USB port or any other opening of the Product as
it may cause the Product to malfunction or burn out.
-Use only the adapter, power cord, and batteries that are approved for use with this
Product. Otherwise, it may cause fire or explosion.
-Be sure that nothing rests on the power cable and that the cable is located at a place
without risk of trips.
-Cut off the power before inspection of the Product to avoid human injury or product
damage.
Precautions for Power Cables and Accessories
Use proper power source only. The Product is designed to use 5V DC (9V DC for fast
charge). Make sure the supply voltage falls within the specified range. Always check
whether the Product is DC powered before applying power.
Place the power cable properly at places without extrusion hazards.

Cleaning instructions:
-Power off before cleaning the Product
-Do not use caustic or aggressive liquids, vapor, or spray
-Clean with a damp cloth
-Do not try to clean exposed electronic components unless with a dust collector
Power off and contact Vantron technical support engineer in case of the following faults:
-The Product is damaged
-The temperature is excessively high
-Fault is still not solved after troubleshooting according to this manual
Do not use in combustible and explosive environment:
-Keep away from combustible and explosive environment
-Keep away from all energized circuits
-Do not change components unless the power cable is unplugged.

1.1 Product Overview
Vantron M10 Pro industrial tablet is independently developed by Chengdu Vantron
Technology Co., Ltd. for industrial applications. The high-performance tablet is powered by
Rockchip multi-core processor with a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen to offer excellent
human-machine interactive experience.
M10 Pro features flexible specification options, large battery capacity and outperforming
power management system. It provides option for 4G, NFC, larger battery capacity and LED
indicators to respond to the needs of more industrial scenarios. It supports different wireless
options for communication to meet different requirements for application in retail
businesses, multi-media education, transportation, laboratories, and libraries.
1.2 Packaging List
The Product has been carefully packed with special attention to quality. However, should you
find anything damaged or missing, please contact your sales representative in due time.

Make sure the accessories listed in the packaging list are present. The plastic film will
protect the screen during installation, only remove the film after installation.

2.1 Physical Parts of the Tablet
After you have confirmed that nothing is damaged or missing in the package, it is
recommended that you spare a few minutes to get familiar with the Tablet.
2.1.1 Battery
There isn’t additional requirement for battery charge before first use of the Tablet. You can
use the Tablet straightly out of box as long as the Tablet has a charge, and charge it when
needed.
The battery information is accessible in settings.
2.1.2 Install and Remove a SIM
In most on-site operations, the device user needs to carry the device around to log and
monitor on-site activities, usually involving M2M communication. Using cellular data rather
than WLAN network helps keep the network strong and stable.
1. Place the Tablet on its front (with screen facing down);
2. Insert the SIM card with the metallic part facing down and the cut-off corner facing in;
3. Push the card in until it clicks into place;
4. Push the card again and it will eject from the slot.
2.1.3 Install and Remove a Micro SD card
You can insert an SD card to expand the storage capacity of the Tablet for huge volume of
data. The steps for installing and removing a Micro SD card are the same as those for
installing and removing a SIM.
Only insert or replace the SIM/Micro SD card outside the potentially explosive
atmosphere.

2.1.4 Turn the Tablet on/off
°To turn the Tablet on: Press the power button and hold for about 3 seconds until you
see the Powered by Android branding on the boot screen.
°To turn the tablet off: Press the power button and hold for about 2 seconds to select for
shutdown/screenshot/restart/emergency calling.
Do not press the power button repeatedly in short time.
2.1.5 LED Indicator
There is one LED indicator for charging status on the front panel of the Tablet as shown in its front
view layout.

2.2 Set up the Tablet for the First Time
This section will guide you through the default settings of the Tablet, changes you can make,
and cautions to be aware of after the initial startup.
2.2.1 Connect to the Internet
The Tablet provides different wireless options for communication, you can choose one that
best suits the working environment.
Before the setup, tap on the settings icon and navigate to Network & internet:

Set up Wi-Fi Network
1. Tap the Wi-Fi switch to turn on Wi-Fi mode;
2. Wait for the automatic refreshing of the Wi-Fi list;
3. Tap the Wi-Fi network you wish to join, or, if the desired Wi-Fi network does not show
in the list:
°swipe down to refresh the list, or
°type the name of the Wi-Fi network in the search box, or
°navigate to the bottom of the list, and tap Add network to type in the Wi-Fi name
and password manually;
4. Enter the password of the Wi-Fi network for connection;
5. Once connected, the Wi-Fi network will be automatically saved for future use.
Set up Mobile Network
1. Make sure you have inserted the SIM card;
2. Make sure the SIM card is activated with data plans (contact the local carrier for details);
3. Tap Mobile network and you can customize the use of the mobile data on the Tablet,
like setting data limits, sharing cellular data connection with other devices by enabling
Wi-Fi hotspot/USB tethering/Bluetooth tethering.

2.2.2 Connect to Bluetooth Devices
Tap on the settings icon and navigate to Connected devices:
1. Tap Connection preference > Bluetooth and turn the switch on;
2. Tap Pair new device, and the Tablet will automatically start to scan available devices
with Bluetooth on and display the IDs of all devices in range;
3. If the desired Bluetooth device does not show in the list, type the name of the device
in the search box;
4. Confirm the consistency of the pairing code on the Tablet and the Bluetooth device,
and tap PAIR (you can check to allow access of the Bluetooth device to the contacts
and call history of the Tablet);
5. The device name will show in Connected device list as CURRENTLY CONNECTED on
top of PREVIOUSLY CONNECTED DEVICES.
Due to restrictions by Apple, the Tablet cannot share data with iOS devices over
Bluetooth.

2.2.3 Choose Your Language & Time Zone
Add a language
The default language of the Tablet is English (U.S.), follow the steps below to change the
language to your preference.
1. Swipe up from the bottom edge to unlock the screen and swipe up again to access the
app drawer;
2. Tap on the settings icon and navigate to the bottom of the screen;
3. Click System > Languages & input > Languages in sequence;
4. Click Add a language;
5. Swipe through the list or type a language in the search box to change the default
language;
6. Tap on the language bar and drag your preferred language to the top of the list.
Under Languages & input, you can also change the settings of the keyboard and other
tools.
Set the Date &Time
The system time follows the language settings by default, and synchronizes with the
network time automatically. You can change the time settings manually.
