1. Introduction

6. Operation
6.1 Installing the Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment and install three AAA batteries
according to the polarity.
2. Close the battery compartment.
Warning: Do not puncture batteries or throw them in
fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge
non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of
batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep
batteries away from children.

6.2 Date and Time Setting
1. Hold SET pressed to enter the date and time setting mode.
2. Set your date and time with UP/DOWN; go to the next digit by
pressing SET. The setting sequence is:
year > month > date > hour > minute > 12h/24h > exit.
3. The system automatically exits the setting mode after 30
seconds of inactivity.
6.3 Alarm Setting and Activation
Alarm Setting
1. Hold UP pressed to enter the setting mode for alarm 1; hold
DOWN pressed to enter the setting mode for alarm 2.
2. Set your alarm time with UP/DOWN; go to the next digit by
pressing SET. The setting sequence is:
M-F* > S-S* > M-F + S-S > hour > minute > exit.
* M-F = Monday to Friday, S-S = Saturday to Sunday.
3. The system automatically exits the setting mode after 30
seconds of inactivity.
Alarm Activation
1. Slide the alarm button of the desired alarm to ON to switch on
the alarm function.
2. The alarm will ring at the set time. Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to
enter the snooze function or slide the alarm button to OFF to
deactivate completely.
6.4 Backlight
Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to activate the backlight. The backlight will
automatically switch off after 10 seconds.
6.5 Date Display
Press SNOOZE/LIGHT twice to display the date. The display will
automatically switch to time display after 10 seconds.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
The clock does not need any particular maintenance. However,
occasionally wipe it with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not
use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan
dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit
toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit
toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone
huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd
bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel
naar uw dealer of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water.
Stel het toestel niet bloot aan schokken of sterke
temperatuurschommelingen en vochtigheid.
Open het toestel niet en wijzig het interne circuit niet.
Verwijder de batterijen als u het toestel voor een lange periode
opbergt.

Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan
het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie
vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.

richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier

Schakel het toestel niet onmiddellijk in nadat het werd
blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen. Om beschadiging te
vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel de kamertemperatuur

6. Gebruik
6.1 Batterijen plaatsen
1. Open het batterijvak en plaats 3 AAA-batterijen. Respecteer de
polariteit.
2. Sluit het batterijvak.
Waarschuwing: U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of
in het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen
alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de
plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten
het bereik van kinderen.

6.2 Datum en tijd instellen
1. Houd SET ingedrukt om de datum- en tijdmodus te activeren.
2. Stel de datum en tijd in met UP/DOWN; ga naar het volgende
cijfer door op SET te drukken. De instelvolgorde is als volgt:
jaar > maand > datum > uren > minuten > 12/24-uur formaat
> verlaten.
3. Het systeem verlaat de instelmodus automatisch na 30 seconden
inactiviteit.
6.3 Alarm instellen en activeren
Het alarm instellen
1. Houd UP ingedrukt om de instelmodus voor alarm 1 te
activeren; houd DOWN ingedrukt om de instelmodus voor alarm
2 te activeren.
2. Stel het alarm in met UP/DOWN; ga naar het volgende cijfer
door op SET te drukken. De instelvolgorde is als volgt:
M-F* > S-S* > M-F + S-S > uren > minuten > verlaten.
* M-F = maandag tot vrijdag, S-S = zaterdag tot zondag.
3. Het systeem verlaat de instelmodus automatisch na 30 seconden
inactiviteit.
Het alarm activeren
1. Schuif de alarmknop van het gewenste alarm op ON om de
alarmfunctie te activeren.
2. Het alarm zal op de ingestelde tijd afgaan. Druk op
SNOOZE/LIGHT om de sluimerfunctie te activeren of schuif de
alarmknop op OFF om volledig uit te schakelen.
6.4 Achtergrondverlichting
Druk op SNOOZE/LIGHT om de achtergrondverlichting in te
schakelen. De achtergrondverlichting schakelt automatisch uit na 10
seconden.
6.5 Datumweergave
Druk tweemaal op SNOOZE/LIGHT om de datum weer te geven. Na
10 seconden schakelt de display automatisch over naar tijdweergave.

7. Reiniging en onderhoud
Het toestel vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud. Maak af en toe proper
met een vochtige doek, om er als nieuw te laten uitzien. Gebruik
geen bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke
detergenten.

l'environnement. Ne pas jeter un appareil électrique ou
électronique (et des piles éventuelles) parmi les déchets

fournisseur ou à un service de recyclage local. Il convient
de respecter la réglementation locale relative à la protection de

La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en
négligeant certaines directives de ce mode d'emploi et votre
revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les
défauts qui en résultent.
Ne pas brancher immédiatement l’appareil après exposition à des
variations de température. Afin d’éviter des dommages, attendre
jusqu’à ce que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante.
Garder ce mode d'emploi pour toute référence ultérieure.

6. Emploi
6.1 Installer les piles
1. Ouvrir le compartiment à piles et insérer 3 piles AAA en
respectant la polarité.
2. Fermer le compartiment à piles.
Avertissement : Ne jamais perforer les piles et ne pas
les jeter au feu (danger d’explosion). Ne jamais
recharger des piles alcalines. Se débarrasser des piles
en respectant la réglementation locale relative à la
protection de l’environnement. Garder les piles hors de
la portée des enfants.

6.2 Configurer la date et l'heure
1. Maintenir enfoncé SET pour entrer le mode de réglage de la date
et de l'heure.
2. Régler la date et l'heure avec UP/DOWN ; passer au chiffre
suivant en appuyant sur SET. L'ordre de réglage est :
année > mois > date > heures > minutes > format 12/24
heures > quitter.
3. Le système quitte automatiquement le mode de réglage après
30 secondes d'inactivité.

Activer l'alarme
1. Faire glisser le bouton d'alarme de l'alarme souhaitée sur ON
pour activer la fonction d'alarme.
2. L'alarme retentira à l'heure réglée. Appuyer sur SNOOZE/LIGHT
pour entrer le mode de répétition d'alarme ou faire glisser le
bouton d'alarme sur OFF pour désactiver complètement.
6.4 Rétroéclairage
Appuyer sur SNOOZE/LIGHT pour activer le rétroéclairage. Le
rétroéclairage s’éteint automatiquement après 10 secondes
d'inactivité.
6.5 Affichage de la date
Appuyer deux fois sur SNOOZE/LIGHT pour afficher la date.
L'afficheur passe automatiquement à l'affichage de l'heure après 10
secondes.

7. Nettoyage et entretien
L'appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier. Nettoyer
occasionnellement avec un chiffon humide pour conserver son aspect
neuf. Ne pas utiliser d'agents chimiques agressifs, de solvants ni de
détergents puissants.

6. Funcionamiento
6.1 Colocar las pilas
1. Abra el compartimiento de pilas e introduzca tres pilas AAA.
Respete la polaridad.
2. Vuelva a cerrar el compartimiento de pilas.
Advertencia: Nunca perfore las pilas y no las eche al
fuego (peligro de explosión). Nunca recargue pilas no
recargables (alcalinas). Respete las leyes locales en
relación con el medio ambiente al tirar las pilas.
Mantenga las pilas lejos del alcance de niños.

6.2 Configurar la fecha y la hora
1. Mantenga pulsado el botón SET para entrar en el modo de
configuración de la fecha y la hora.
2. Introduzca la hora y la fecha con UP/DOWN. Seleccione el dígito
siguiente al pulsar SET. El orden de la configuración es:
year (año) > month (mes) > date (fecha) > hour (hora) >
minute (minuto) > 12h/24h > exit (salir).

6.4 Retroiluminación
Pulse SNOOZE/LIGHT para activar la retroiluminación. La
retroiluminación se apagará automáticamente después de una
inactividad de 10 segundos.
6.5 Visualizar la fecha
Pulse SNOOZE/LIGHT dos veces para visualizar la fecha. La pantalla
volverá a visualizar automáticamente la hora después de una
inactividad de 10 segundos.

7. Limpieza y mantenimiento
El despertador no necesita mantenimiento especial. Sin embargo,
limpie el aparato de vez en cuando con un paño húmedo. No utilice
químicos abrasivos, detergentes fuertes ni disolventes de limpieza
para limpiar el aparato.
