3 . General Guidelines
For indoor use only. Keep this device away from rain,
moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.

5 . I nstallat ion/ Operation
App lica ti on 1 : U se w it h I R be nd er o nly
•Insert the plug of the IR probes [ F] int o the IR probes out put
connection [ B] at the back of the IR bender [ A] .
•Install the IR bender flat on a horizont al surface wit hin sight and
reach of your rem ot e cont rol ( ± 6m in ideal circum stances).
•Lead th e I R probes inside the cabinet and t o t he A/ V equipm ent
in such way t hat a LED can be stuck ont o t he IR ey e of each A/ V
apparatus. Test the posit ion of each LED first before sticking as
this should be done carefully and precisely.
•Insert the plug of the PSU int o the PSU input connection [ D] at
the back of the IR bender. Only use the supplied PSU. Connect
the PSU to the mains.
•Use your r em ot e cont rol an d p oint towards th e I R ben der w it hin
an angle of ± 15° in all directions.

•Insert the plug of the IR probes [ F] int o the IR probes out put
connection [ B] at the back of the IR bender [ A] .
•Insert the plug of the I R receiver ext ension [ E] int o the IR
receiver extension input connect ion [ C] .
•Install the IR bender flat on a horizont al surface wit hin sight and
reach of your rem ote control (± 6m in ideal circum stances) or
inside the cabinet.
•Stick t he IR receiver extension preferably onto a vertical surface,
next the IR eye of t he TV set.
•Lead th e I R probes inside the cabinet and t o t he A/ V equipm ent
in such way t hat a LED can be stuck ont o t he IR ey e of each A/ V
apparatus. Test t he position of each LED first before st icking as
this should be done carefully and precisely.
•Insert the plug of the PSU int o the PSU input connection [ D] at
the back of the IR bender. Only use the supplied PSU. Connect
the PSU to the mains.
•Use your r em ot e cont rol an d p oint towards th e I R recei ver
extension within an angle of ± 15° in all directions.

I m p ort an t r em a rk : In som e cases, the r eceiver can suf fer fr om
interference and not pick up the signal from your rem ot e
cont r ol. I nt erference can be caused by devices in t he direct
vicinit y such as dimm ers and lamps, or by direct sunlight. I f
such is the case, reorient or relocat e t he I R receiver, or
increase the dist ance bet ween the IR receiver and the device
causing the interference.

3 . Alge m en e r icht lij nen
Enkel voor gebruik binnenshuis. Bescherm tegen regen,
vocht igheid en opspattende vloeist offen.

•Leer eerst de funct ies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.
•Om veiligh eidsr ed enen m ag u geen w ij zi ging en aanbr en gen .
•Maak alle onderdelen schoon met een vochtige, niet-pluizende doek.
Gebruik geen alcohol of solvent en

5 . I nst a llat ie en gebr uik
Toe passin g 1 : Ge bru ik m et enk el de in fr ar oodv er de ler
•St eek de stekk er van de infraroodleds [ F] in uit gangsaansluit ing
[ B] acht eraan de infraroodverdeler [ A] .
•Plaats de infraroodverdeler horizontaal in het zicht en binnen het
bereik van uw afst andsbediening (± 6 m in ideale
om st andig heden) .
•Leid de infraroodleds naar uw audio- of videoapparatuur binnenin
het meubel toe zodanig dat u een led op elk oog van de
apparatuur kunt kleven. Aangezien de led precies op het oog
gekleef d m oet word en , test u eer st b est de posit ie v an elke led .
•Steek de stekker van de voedingsadapt er in ingangsaansluiting
[ D] acht eraan de infraroodverdeler. Gebruik enkel de
meegelerde voedingsadapter. Koppel de voedingsadapter aan het
lichtnet.
•Richt nu uw afst andsbediening naar de infraroodverdeler in een
hoek van ± 15° in alle richt ingen.

Toepassing 2 : Gebr uik m et het infr a roodoog
•St eek de stekk er van de infraroodleds [ F] in uit gangsaansluit ing
[ B] acht eraan de infraroodverdeler [ A] .
•St eek de st ekker van het infraroodoog [ E] in ingangsaansluiting
[ C] achteraan de infraroodverdeler.
•Plaats de infraroodverdeler horizontaal in het zicht en binnen het
bereik van uw afst andsbediening (± 6 m in ideale
om st andigh eden ) of in het m eubel.
•Kleef het infraroodoog op een verticaal oppervlak, bv. naast het
infraroodoog van het t v-t oest el.
•Leid de infraroodleds naar uw audio- of videoapparatuur binnenin
het meubel toe zodanig dat u een led op elk oog van de
apparatuur kunt kleven. Aangezien de led precies op het oog
gekleef d m oet word en , test u eer st b est de posit ie v an elke led .
•Steek de stekker van de voedingsadapt er in ingangsaansluiting
[ D] acht eraan de infraroodverdeler. Gebruik enkel de
meegelerde voedingsadapter. Koppel de voedingsadapter aan het
lichtnet.
•Richt nu uw afstandsbediening naar het infraroodoog in een hoek
van ± 15° in alle richtingen.

Be la ngr ij ke opm erk ing: I n som mige uitzonderlij ke gevallen kan
het syst eem last ondervinden van int erferentie en daardoor het
signaal van de afst andsbediening niet ont vangen. Int erferentie
kan veroorzaakt w orden door toestellen zoals dim m ers en
lam pen, of door direct invallend licht. Verplaats in dit geval de
infraroodverdeler of het infraroodoog, of vergroot de afst and
tussen infrar oodverdeler / infrar oodoog en het toest el dat de
int erferent ie veroorzaakt .

•Insérer la fiche des DEL [ F] dans la connexion de sortie [ B] à
l’arrière du répart iteur [ A] .
•I nst aller le rép ar t it eu r de m an ièr e h or izon tale en v ue et à p or tée
de la télécom m ande (± 6 m dans des circonstances idéales).
•Guider les DEL vers l’intérieur du m euble de manière à pouvoir
coller une DEL sur chaque œil infrarouge des appareils A/ V.
Test er au préalable la position de chaque DEL avant de les coller
avec précision.
•Insérer la fiche de l’alim ent at ion secteur dans la prise d’entrée
d’alim ent ation [ D] à l’arrière du répart iteur. N’utiliser que
l’alimentation incluse. Connecter l’alimentation au réseau.
•Utiliser votre télécom m ande et la pointer vers le répartiteur, et
ceci dans un angle de ± 15° tous azim ut s.

•Insérer la fiche de l’œil infrarouge [ E] dans la prise d’entrée [ C] .
•I nst aller le rép ar t it eu r de m an ièr e h or izon tale en v ue et à p or tée
de la télécom m ande (± 6 m dans des circonstances idéales) ou à
l’intérieur du meuble.
•Coller l’œil infrarouge de préférence sur une surface verticale,
p.ex. j uxt aposé à l’œil infrarouge du poste de t élévision.
•Guider les DEL vers l’intérieur du m euble de manière à pouvoir
coller une DEL sur chaque œil infrarouge des appareils A/ V.
Test er au préalable la position de chaque DEL avant de les coller
avec précision.
•Insérer la fiche de l’alim ent at ion secteur dans la prise d’entrée
d’alim ent ation [ D] à l’arrière du répart iteur. N’utiliser que
l’alimentation incluse. Connecter l’alimentation au réseau.
•Utiliser votre t élécomm ande et la pointer vers l’œil infrarouge, et

3 . Norm a s gener ales
