•Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually
using it.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
Dam age caused by user mo difications to the device is not covered
by the warra nty.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may
lead to sho rt circuits , burns, e lectroshocks, crash, etc. Using the
device in an unauthorized way will void the warranty.

6. Operation
6.1 Automatic Testing
1. Connect your HDMI®ca ble to the tester: insert the connectors
i nt o the a pp ro p ria te i np u ts o f the te s te r [1, 2, 3, or 4].
2. Slide the switch [5] to CO NT INU IT Y (LEDs are lit continuously)
or SWEEP (LEDs will light successively).
3. The LEDs indicate the following test results:
In our exam ple, we test a cable with 2 HDMI®Mini C onnectors.

7. Clean in g a nd Maintena nce
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do
not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong
detergents to clean the detector.
•The VTTE S T30 does not need any particular maintenance.
•To avoid unreliable test results, replace the battery as soon as the
low battery indication appears.
Battery Replacement
1. To a void possible electric shocks and personal injury, turn off
the master unit and disconnect all test leads.
2. Slide the cover and open the battery compartment at the back
o f th e t es te r.
3. Replace the old battery with a new battery of the same type (not
incl.).
4. Close the battery compartment.

3. Algemene richtlijnen

Bescherm het toestel tegen stof en extreme
temperaturen.
Bescherm het toestel tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht
tijdens de bediening.
•Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.
•Om veilighe idsrede ne n mag u geen wijzigingen aa nb rengen aa n
het toestel. Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft
aangebracht aan het toestel, valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere
toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen, brandwonden,
elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de
garantie.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde
richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier
rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

6. Gebruik
6.1 Automatisch testen
1. Verbind uw HDMI®-kabelmet de tester: steek de connectoren in
de ge paste ingangen van de tester [1, 2, 3, of 4].
2. Zet de schakelaar [5] o p CO NT INU IT Y (L ED-lichtjes branden
cons tant) of SWEEP (LED-lichtjes wisselen elkaar af).
3. De LEDs tonen de volgende testresultaten:

7. Reiniging en onderho ud
Maak de tester af en toe schoon met een vochtige doek.
Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten,
reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.
•De VTTE S T3 0 vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud.
•Om betrouwbare resultaten te vermijden, de batterij zo snel
mogelijk vervangen bij het verschijnen van de lege batterij-
indicator.
Batterijen vervangen
1. Om mogelijke elektroschokken en letsels te vermijden, het
mastertoestel uitschakelen en alle testdraden losmaken.
2. Schuif het deksel los en open het batterijvak aan de achterkant
van de tester.
3. Vervang de oude batterij door een nieuwe van hetzelfde type
(niet meegelev.).
4. Sluit het batterijvak.

connecteurs-HDMI®et résout les défauts sur les câbles. Avec
indicateurs LED sur l'unité principale et télécommande pour 19 fils
et le blindage.
