SAFETY DURING INSTALLATION
•During installation, ensure that the pro uct’s
components o not affect or limit vehicle
functions. Avoi amaging these components!
•Only install un amage parts in a vehicle!
•During installation, ensure that the pro uct
oes not impair the fiel of vision an that it
cannot impact the river’s or passenger’s hea !
•A specialize technician shoul install the
pro uct. If you install the pro uct yourself,
wear appropriate work clothing. Do not wear
loose clothing, as it may get caught in moving
parts. Protect long hair with a hair net.
•When working on the on-boar electronics, o
not wear metallic or con uctive jewelry such as
necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.
•If work on a running engine is require , exercise
extreme caution. Wear only appropriate work
clothing as you are at risk of personal injury,
resulting from being crushe or burne .
•Before beginning, isconnect the negative
terminal on the battery, otherwise you risk a
short circuit. If the vehicle is supplie by
auxiliary batteries, you must also isconnect
the negative terminals on these batteries!

systems. Please note that when you isconnect
the battery, all volatile electronic memories
lose their input values an must be
reprogramme .

•When working un erneath the vehicle, secure
it accor ing to the specifications from the
vehicle manufacturer.

hole or port at the installation location.
