Meet Palm
Live In The Moment
Palm celebrates the freedom and choice to be both connected
and present. Specially designed for life on the go, it helps you
connect how and when you want so you can be in the moment
when life comes calling.

Live outside the screen
There’s a time to lean into our devices and a time to lean into
the world. Palm is for those moments when you are more
engaged in real life than your device—but that doesn’t mean
you don’t want to message your best friend, take a picture of
an amazing restaurant, or text friends to join you. Palm keeps
you connected, not consumed.






Get right to it
Palm is designed for quick action to get you what you need in
the moment—whether it’s to post, pay, listen, or break a
sweat. Get everything you want faster with a mobile device
that acts like a personal assistant, not a mini computer.
Want something? Just use your voice to ask.


Super Smart, Not Super Sized
Palm is designed for action—put it into your smallest pocket,
wear it on your neck or slip it into your yoga pants. About the
size of a credit card and light enough to forget about, you can
take your connectivity with you everywhere - from the
treadmill, to the beach, to your little black dress. Water
resistant and discreet, Palm is perfect for adrenaline junkies,
modern minimalists and anything in between.


 

Life Mode
Palm is designed to bring people out of their tech and into
their lives. With Life Mode, we’re reimagining how we interact
with the physical and digital world—never compromising one
for the other. Palm is specially designed for life on the go and
helps you connect how and when you want. Connect on your


Quick Action
Palm is designed to help get to what matters quickly through
voice, quick action menus, and the gesture pad. Play music,
create events, reply to texts, or get directions with minimal
screen tapping. See how it works on page 8.

Text and Call Syncing
Using your Palm does not require a new phone number. With
text and call syncing, you can keep in touch with friends and
family using your Verizon phone number. Calls and messages
will be synced between the two devices. See how it works on
page 10.




Face Recognition
Your Palm is meant to be secure but still easy to use while on

Life Mode
Life Mode helps you live in the moment and
minimize digital distraction
Palm was designed to help you be connected, but present. Life
Mode helps you live in the moment but keeps your digital life
available when you need it.

When Life Mode is enabled, you will not be bothered with calls
and texts as long as the screen is off. Catch up on your
notifications just by waking the screen. By default, texts and
calendar reminders will be pushed when you wake your device.
You can choose additional apps to be pushed in Life Mode’s
advanced options menu.

Enable/Disable Life Mode
1. Swipe down from the top of the display to view quick
settings.
2. Tap Life Mode to toggle On/Off.

Life Mode timer
The Life Mode timer allows you to temporarily suspend Life
Mode to maximize your device performance when you need it
most.
Expecting a text or phone call? You can disable Life Mode for a
designated time as you wait. Life Mode will automatically
resume when the time is up.
When a Life Mode timer is in progress, a notification will
appear that shares time remaining before Life Mode resumes.

Advanced options
You can enable additional apps to push notifications when you
Palm wakes. To do this, go to Settings > Life Mode > Advanced
Options. Select apps on the list to allow notifications when
your device wakes.

Battery Impact
Life Mode limits usage of antennas, which substantially
increases the battery life of your device. 

Quick Action
Palm was designed to help you get to what
matters quickly. Start a playlist, call a friend,
or send a message with just a couple of taps.
Quick Actions enable you to instantly access the most
important part of your apps while on the go. You can easily
access actions through action menus, the gesture pad, and
voice.


Quick Action Menus
Long press an app on the home screen to view the most helpful
shortcuts for each app. You can also add/remove/reorder the
actions on this screen by clicking the manage gear.
Add a Quick Action:
1. Find an app on the Home screen or scroll down to the
app drawer.
2. Long-press the app shortcut to bring up its action
menu.
3. Tap Manage > Add.
4. Tap a quick action from the list to add to the action
menu.
5. Tap the touch button to return to the action menu.

Remove an Action:
1. Find an app on the Home screen or scroll down to the
app drawer.
2. Long-press the app shortcut to bring up its action
menu.
3. Tap Manage .
4. Swipe a Quick Action to the left and tap Delete.
5. Tap the touch button to return to the action menu.

Gesture Pad
The Gesture Pad allows you to quickly search any shortcut on
your Palm from your lock screen. To display the Gesture Pad,
swipe your finger up from the bottom drawer on the lock
screen.

How to use:
Open Gesture Pad and draw a letter with your finger. A list of
apps and Quick Actions will appear based on the letter you
draw. Tap the action to launch.
Example: Draw an “S” on the Gesture Pad to quickly access
“Selfie” for camera, “Start Workout” for a fitness event, or
play your “Summer Playlist”.

Voice Search
Your Palm is voice-enabled. Simply double-tap the power key
to use voice to initiate actions. You can open an app, send a
message, play a song, or more. 

Text & call syncing
Keep your conversations moving when you’re
on the go
You can connect your Palm to your Verizon phone number with
NumberShare and Message+. You can text and call on your
Palm from the phone number you already use.

Text messaging

With Verizon’s Message+, you can sync all your text
conversations with your Palm. The setup wizard will walk you
through the steps to authenticate your phone number and
connect your devices.

If there are ever any issues and you need to set it up again or
reconnect, go to Settings > System > Setup Wizard.

Calling

Verizon will connect your Palm to your primary Verizon phone
number so you can place and receive calls from the phone
number you already use. If you are having any issues, contact
Verizon Customer Service at 1-800-922-0204.
Navigation simplified
Quickly navigate your Palm using the touch
button
Your Palm has a touch button below the screen to quickly
navigate around the device. To navigate:


Single-tap: Go back
Double-tap: Go home
Long-press: Open task-switcher
Your Palm also has a virtual navigation bar to navigate your
device for back, home and task-switcher. To maximize display
space, you can configure the bar to auto-hide:
1. Go to Settings > Advanced Features > Navigation
2. Turn on the switch for “Auto-hide Navigation Bar”
Don’t worry, you can always swipe up from the bottom of the
screen to quickly use the navigation bar! 
