The mailbox should be installed at a height that puts the camera
eye at 150-1 0 cm above ground level.
Install the mail chute into the wall, making sure that it does not
extend beyond the wall face (2-3 mm recessed installation is
suggested). Take proper care not to deform the mail chute during
installation. If needed, use additional support within the wall.
The mail chute is telescopic. Note: the smaller, inner part is the
front side of the mail chute, while the slightly larger outer part is
the back side. Make sure that the mail chute is installed properly:
front (mail-in) should be located slightly higher than the back
(mail-out).
Prior to front panel installation you must make all necessary
wiring connections for video door phone and optional LED
backlight.
Front panel installation requires two M4 screws and two nuts.
Back panel is installed with four nuts. All fittings are included.
Press the front panel against the front of the mail chute. The two
pins on the bottom of the front panel back side should fit into the
corner holes in the mail chute. Use M4 screws and nuts to screw
the front panel onto the mail chute.
Press the back panel against the back of the mail chute. The pins
on the back side should fit into the corner holes in the mail chute.
Reach inside the mail chute through the open door and screw the
back panel onto the mail chute using M4 nuts.
The front and back panels should be tightly pressed against the
wall. During installation the top and side edges of the panels
should be weatherstripped. Use e.g. self-adhesive rubber seals
(might be included) or silicone.
