01. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General Safety Instructions
These instructions and any markings on equipment are inten-
ded to ensure a safe operation. Read them carefully.
» Equipment may only be used for its intended purpose and
with proper protective equipment. Relevant locale specific
safety regulations and technical data must be considered.
»Keep these instructions at hand.
» The cutter may only be operated by personnel that has
been instructed in its use and is familiar with these safety
instructions.
» Repair and maintenance-related tasks must be carried out
by trained professionals.
»Operate only in clean and well-lit areas.
» Do not operate in close proximity to flammable or explosive
materials or in explosive environments.
» Do not expose the cutter or accessories to fire or tempera-
tures over 50ºC.
» Operators must keep a safe distance from other personnel
while operating the cutter.
» The cutter may not be operated under the influence of
alcohol, certain pharmaceuticals, when sleep deprived or
otherwise impaired.
» Keep the cutter dry. Do not operate it in damp environ-
ments.
»Make sure the device is turned o when not in use.
» Make sure the device is turned o before connecting it to a
power source.
» Keep your hands and loose clothing away from the knife.
» Do not operate the cutter with the knife facing towards you
or other persons.
» Wear safety goggles when operating the tool.
» Do not operate the cutter if the knife is stuck. Do not at-
tempt to remove objects stuck in the knife casing by hand.
» Do not operate cutters that have developed a fault. Only
fully functional cutters may be operated.
» Keep the cutter clean.
»Do not operate the cutter with a dull or damaged knife.
» Keep the handle dry and clean. Do not operate the cutter
with wet or greasy hands.
» Only use the power cord and charger supplied by the ma-
nufacturer.
»Only operate / charge the cutter with the specified rating.
» Do not operate cutters with damaged power cables or
battery packs.
» Do not keep the power cord under tension to prevent me-
chanical damage.
» Do not use the power cable or battery pack for other equip-
ment.
Maintenance Safety Instructions
» Mainetenance and adjustment may only be done
by qualified personnel.
» Disconnect the cutter from its power source (electrical
outlet or battery pack) before performing any maintenance
work or making adjustments to the tool.
» Store unused tools safely.
»Regularly check the cutter for damage and wear.
Storage Safety Instructions
»Store unused cutters in a dry and clean environment.
»Do not store in excessively hot spaces.
»Ideally store the cutter and knife separately.
» Store blades so they do not grind against each other or
other objects that may dull their edge.
»Keep battery pack contacts away from metal objects.
Battery Pack Safety Instructions
» Before using the battery pack, read all
instructions carefully.
»Use only the supplied battery charger to charge packs.
»Do not operate the cutter with a damaged battery pack.
» Do not disassemble the battery pack or make changes to it.
» Do not attempt do repair damaged battery packs. Damaged
battery packst must be put out of commission in
accordance with applicable standards and laws.
» Battery packs with a significantly decreased capacity must
be put out of commission.

WARNING!
Danger of cutting. Stay clear of the knives 1 and 2 when not
absolutely necessary.
WARNING!
Danger of cutting. Only operate the tool wearing proper protec-
tive equipment (safety goggles, cut resistant gloves). Maintain a
firm grip on the tool at all times.
WARNING!
Danger of burns. The round knife 1 heats up during operation
or when sharpened. Do no perform any work on the knife
directly after using the tool. Do not cut flammable material with
a hot knife.
Warning!
Danger of crushing. The tool, especially the battery pack is
heavy and may cause injury when falling. Always mainain a
frim grip and do not position the tool on the edge of any surface
to prevent it from being knocked over.

CORDLESS ROUND KNIFE FOR CUTTING
FABRIC IN THE CLOTHING AND LEATHER INDUSTRY
This piece of equipment is intendeed to be used to cut a variety of fabric and leather
up to a maximum thickness of 25mm using a rotating octagonal knife and lower knife.
The cutter is designed for flexible handling and has an integrated grinding tool to
comfortably sharpen the knife.
Typical applications:
INTENDED USE
Any use not approved by the manufacturer is considered improper!
Proper use also includes compliance with the prescribed operating, adjustment,
maintenance and repair measures. Damage due to non-intended use is not covered by
the manufacturer‘s liability!

FIRST COMMISSIONING / DECOMMISSIONING
FIRST COMMISSIONING
01. Clean the product thoroughy before first use.
02. Please check if the tool or electrical cables are damaged.
03. Have specialists confirm that you are allowed to operate the equipment with the
mains voltage at your facility and that it is correctly set up.
04. Make sure the guard is properly in place.
NOTE!
1.) Should the product deviate from its intended condition, DO NOT use it!
2.) Only connect the machine to a grounded power outlet!
DECOMMISSIONING
01. Engage the lock switch.
02. Remove the battery.
03. Disconnect the charger from the power supply.
04. Clean the tool if necessary.
05. Store safely in accordance with the provisions in this manual and workplace safety regulations.
TRANSPORT - PACKAGING - DISPOSAL - STORAGE
01. Transport
All equipment is delivered packaged.
Checked product for damages after delivery.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for subsequent damages
incurred in the customers care.
Make sure that the product is transported safely and with care at your facility.
02. Packaging
The packaging must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental
protection regulations.
03. Disposal
The customer is responsible for proper disposal. Disposal must comply with
local environmental regulations.
NOTE!
Parts contaminated with lubricants or oils must be disposed of separately.
04. Storage
When not in use for extended periods of time, equipment must be protected
against dirt, moisture and corrosion (e.g.: by an oil film).

03. BATTERY PROTECTION SYSTEM
The cutter is equipped with a battery protection system that automatically cuts power in situations
that might cause damage to the battery. The battery protection system will then automatically stop
the cutter.
The protection system is activated:
» In case of electrical system overload.
› Attempt to turn the cutter o and on again. If it does not start, the battery
has overheated.
Wait for the battery to cool down, then start the machine again.
» When the battery voltage drops.
› This means the battery power is running low. If the battery has been recently charged,
have it checked. Otherwise charge it.

On the back of the cutter is a row of four LED lights that indicate the remaining battery power level.

this indication may vary.

01. INSERT / REMOVE BATTERY PACK
WARNING!
Turn the cutter o and engage the lock switch before
inserting or removing the battery.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
01. Make sure the battery slot is clean and unobstructed.
02. Make sure the lock switch is engaged.
03. Push the battery into the handle until the clips on the side of the battery lock in place.
04. Make sure the battery sits firmly in the slot.
REMOVING THE BATTERY
01. Press and hold down the clip buttons 1 on the sides of the battery.
02. Pull the battery from the slot.

02. TURN MACHINE ON / OFF
The cutter is started with the on/o switch on the underside of the handle. To prevent accidental
starting of the machine, it is also secured with a lock switch on the opposite side of the cutter.
To start the machine:
01. Disengage the lock switch 1 by oushing it towards the battery pack.
02. Push the power button 2 to start the tool.
NOTE!
Re-engage the lock switch when you stop operating the machine.

WARNING!
Danger of cutting. Stay clear of the knife when operating the tool and
maintain a firm grip on it.
ADVICE!
Make sure there is always enough tension on the material, especially when
working with thin fabrics.
01. Line the knife up where you want to cut the material.
02. Turn the tool on.
03. Firmly push the knife along where you want to cut the material. Do not apply too much
pressure. If the knife does not cut the material properly, try tighten it in front of the knife.

04. ADJUST THE FINGER GUARD
WARNING!
Danger of cutting. Turn the tool o and engage the lock switch before
adusting the finger guard.

01. Loosen positioning screw.
02. Use the latch on the top end of the finger guard to adjsut the position.
03. Re-tighten the screw to set the new position.

04. MAINTENANCE
01. REPLACE THE KNIFE
WARNING
Danger of cutting. Turn the tool of before replacing the knife.
Avoid contact with knifes edge during when replacing the knife.
Make sure the knife is properly secured before operating the tool again.
WARNING
Danger of burns. Knives can heat up during operation. Let the tool cool down
before replacing the knife.
01. Insert the locking pin (shipped in the knife set) into the knife‘s locking hole

02. Loosen the knife cap

with a special wrench.
03. Remove the locking pin again.
04. Remove the knife cap and knife.
05. Place the new knife with it‘s flat, labeled surface facing the tool.
06. Insert the locking pin.
07. Put the knife cap back in place and tighten it to secure the knife.

04. MAINTENANCE
02. SHARPEN THE KNIFE
WARNING
Danger of cutting. Sharpening the knife requires the tool to run. Handle it
carefully, stay clear of the knife‘s edge and wear protective equipment.
WARNING
Danger of burns. Sharpening the knife produces heat. Be careful around hot
parts and let the tool cool down before commencing normal operation.
01. Start the tool.
02. Gently press the sharpener 1 down until you feel some resistance and can hear the knife
grind against the sharpener.
03. Hold the sharpener in this position for a few seconds, then release it.
04. Let the knife cool down.
05. Test if the knife is sharp enough. If not, repeat these steps as often as necessary.
