installation and set up procedures explained in t is manual before any work on t e ve icle is attempted.

BEFORE WIRING DISCONNECT THE CABLE FROM THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL - failure to do so may result in electric s ock or

DO NOT USE FUNCTIONS OF THIS EQUIPMENT THAT MAY TAKE YOUR CONCENTRATION AWAY FROM DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE - do
not set up your amplifier w ilst driving, doing so may result in an accident. For prolonged setting up, make sure t at your ve icle is
stationary and in a safe location.
KEEP THE VOLUME AT A LEVEL SO YOU CAN STILL HEAR OUTSIDE NOISE - failure to do t is may result in an accident. VIBE
equipment is capable of producing sound levels t at can permanently damage your earing. VIBE recommends caution w en listening
at ig volume. For safe and enjoyable listening t e sound s ould be comfortable and clear wit out distortion.
CAUTION
Never connect any speaker lead to t e car c assis. T is can cause severe damage to your speaker /car radio /amplifier.
Before drilling or cutting any oles, investigate t e layout of your ve icle t oroug ly.
Use caution w en working near t e fuel / ydraulic lines and electrical wiring.
Observe t e correct polarity w en wiring. Improper p asing may cause a loss of bass response.
Ensure t at no moving parts catc on t e speaker or grill (e.g. window, door andles or window glass inside t e door).
Installation
T e quality of t e installation will affect t e system performance and reliability.
Contact your nearest aut orised VIBE dealer if you are unsure on t e installation of t is product.
Please mount t is unit away from any potential azards.
Minimising t e lengt of wires will provide ig er audio output from t e system.
T e speaker s ould be securely fastened to t e mounting position using t e screws provided.
Pre drill your mounting oles using a drill and position wit t e template provided.
Be sure to investigate your mounting area t oroug ly for electrical wires, brake or fuel lines or fuel tank to prevent causing any
damage.
Firstly make sure t at t e speakers will fit in your c osen location. T is may involve t e removal of t e standard ve icle speakers.
Please use t e mounting dept and ole cut dimensions as detailed in t is manual for guidance.

Wirin conections
Before you begin please read all instructions t at come wit your power tools and wear all recommended safety equipment.
Also remember t e rule - “measure twice cut once” please ensure t at t e QB69 will actually fit in its intended location as replacing
metalwork is a costly business.
●Find a suitable position for t e crossover, t is s ould not interfere wit any moving parts of t e ve icle.
●Please ensure t at correct polarity is observed as incorrect wiring will result in poor sound quality and loss of bass.
●T e positive and negative lead of t e crossover input must be connected to t e positive and negative terminal of t e amplifier.
●T e woofer positive and negative lead of t e crossover must be connected to t e positive and negative woofer input terminal of
t e QB69.
●T e tweeter positive and negative lead of t e crossover must be connected to t e positive and negative tweeter input terminal
of t e QB69.

Mountin instructions
●Using t e template provided, mark out wit a pen t e ole t at is to be cut out of t e aperture.
●Carefully cut out t e mounting ole wit an appropriate tool.
●Mark out for t e 6 mounting screw oles and pre drill if screwing into metal.
●Secure t e 2 side screws first and t en fasten t e 4 corner screws t roug t e grill and t e speaker to secure t e speaker in
place.
Congratulations. You ave completed t e installation of t e VIBE QB69
Speakers can be enclosed or mounted free air. For best results ensure a rigid mounting surface.
Pivotin tweeter
T e QB69 features a pivoting tweeter t at can be moved by 5 degrees in any direction.
T e tweeter must be moved by pressing gently on t e plastic ousing in t e desired direction.
NOTE – please exercise caution w en moving t e tweeter. Be sure not to touc t e tweeter
diap ragm wit your fingers as t is may cause damage to t e tweeter t at will not be covered under
warranty.

Limited Warranty
All VIBE products carry a full twelve mont s warranty, valid from
t e date of t e original receipt / proof of purc ase. In order to
validate t is warranty, t e warranty card s ould be returned to VIBE
wit in seven days of t e original purc ase date. T e original receipt
and packaging s ould also be retained for t is twelve mont period.
If at any stage during t e warranty period you ave a problem wit t e
product t en it s ould be returned to t e point of purc ase, wit proof of purc ase in its
original packaging, complete wit no items missing.
If t e store is unable to fix t e product it may ave to be returned to VIBE.
T is process takes around 7 working days.
