Congratulations on purchasing your BlackDeath QB69 speakers. Please read
this manual
in order to fully understand how to get the best results from your
speakers.
Please ensure
that all advice on how to look after your speakers is followed.
Thank
you for buying VISE. We hope you enjoy listening to your product as
much as we enjoyed creating it.
Introduction
This manual is for your safety and must be adhered to at all times. Please read this manual and ensure that you fully understand the
installation and set up procedures explained
in this manual before any work on the vehicle is attempted.
If
you have any doubts about the installation of the VIBE QB69 speakers please contact your nearest authorised VIBE dealer.

BEFORE WIRING DISCONNECT THE CABLE FROM THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL -failure to do so may result in electric shock or
injury.
ENSURE GOOD AND CORRECT CONNECTIONS -failure to make the correct connections may result in fire or damage to the product.
DO NOT USE FUNCTIONS OF THIS EQUIPMENT THAT MAY TAKE YOUR CONCENTRATION AWAY FROM DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE - do
not set up your amplifier whilst driving, doing so may result in an accident. For prolonged setting up, make sure that your vehicle is
stationary and
in asafe location.
KEEP THE VOLUME AT A LEVEL SO YOU CAN STILL HEAR OUTSIDE NOISE -failure to do this may result in an accident. VIBE
equipment is capable of producing sound levels that can permanently damage your hearing. VIBE recommends caution when listening
at high volume. For safe and enjoyable listening the sound should be comfortable and clear without distortion.
CAUTION
Never connect any speaker lead to the car chassis. This can cause severe damage to your speaker Icar radio lamplifier.
Before drilling or cutting any holes, investigate the layout of your vehicle thoroughly.
Use caution when working
near the fuel Ihydraulic lines and electrical wiring.

Observe the correct pollllrity when wiring. Improper phasing may cause aloss of bass response.
Ensure
that no moving parts catch on the speaker or grill [e.g. window, door handles or window glass inside the door].
Installation
The quality of the installation will affect the system performance and reliability.
Contact your nearest authorised
VI BE dealer if you are unsure on the installation of this product.
Please
mount this unit away from any potential hazards.
Minimising the length of wires will provide higher audio output
from the system.
The speaker should
be securely fastened to the mounting position using the screws provided.
Pre drill your mounting holes using adrill and position with the template provided.
Be sure to investigate your mounting area thoroughly for electrical wires, brake or fuel lines or fuel tank to prevent causing any
damage.
Firstly make sure
that the speakers will fit in your chosen location. This may involve the removal of the standard vehicle speakers.
Please use the mounting depth and hole
cut dimensions as detailed in this manual for guidance.

Wiring canectians
Before you begin please read all instructions that come with your power tools and wear all recommended safety equipment.
Also
remember the rule - "measure twice cut once" please ensure that the QB69 will actually fit in its intended location as replacing
metalwork is acostly business.
•Find asuitable position
for the crossover, this should not interfere with any moving parts of the vehicle.
•Please ensure
that correct polarity is observed as incorrect wiring will result in poor sound quality and loss of bass.
•The positive and negative lead of
the crossover input must be connected to the positive and negative terminal of the amplifier.
•The
woofer positive and negative lead of the crossover must be connected to the positive and negative woofer input terminal of
the QB69.

•The tweeter positive and negative lead of the crossover must be connected to the positive and negative tweeter input terminal
of
the QB69.

Mounting instructions
•Using the template provided. mark out with apen the hole that is to be cut out of the aperture.
•Carefully
cut out the mounting hole with an appropriate tool.
•
Mark out for the 6 mounting screw holes and pre drill if screwing into metal.
•Secure the 2side
screws first and then fasten the 4 corner screws through the grill and the speaker to secure the speaker in
place.
Congratulations. You have completed
the installation of the VIBE QB69
Speakers can be enclosed or mounted free air. For best results ensure arigid mounting surface.
Pivoting t\Neeter
The QB69 features apivoting tweeter that can be moved by 5degrees in any direction.
The
tweeter must be moved by pressing gently on the plastic housing in the desired direction.
NOTE -please exercise caution when moving the tweeter. Be sure not to touch the tweeter
diaphragm with your fingers as this may cause damage to the tweeter that will not be covered under
warranty.

Limited Warranty
All VISE products carry afull twelve months warranty, valid from
the date of the original receipt/ proof of purchase. In order to
validate this warranty, the warranty card should be returned to VISE
within seven days of the original purchase date. The original receipt
and packaging should also
be retained for this twelve month period.
If
at any stage during the warranty period you have aproblem with the
product then it should be returned to the point of purchase. with proof of purchase in its
original packaging, complete with no items missing.
If
the store is unable to fix the product it may have to be returned to VISE.
This process takes around 7working days.
