Important Safety Instructions
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN
CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
1. ALWAYS turn off and unplug this product
immediately after using.
2. DO NOT use while bathing.
3. DO NOT place or store product where it
can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. The
appliance should always be placed on a rm,
at, waterproof and heat resistant surface.
Be sure the appliance is in a stable position
and the power cord is out of the way to
prevent the appliance from being tipped over.
4. DO NOT place in or drop into water or
other liquid.
5. DO NOT reach for a product that has fallen
into water. Unplug immediately.
WARNING To reduce the risk of burns,
electrocution, re, or injury to persons:
1. The product should never be left
unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this
product is used by, on, or near invalids.
Keep out of reach of children.
3. Use this product only for its intended
use as described in this manual. DO NOT
use attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer.
4. NEVER operate this product if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged
or dropped into water.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. CAUTION: NEVER move the
appliance while in use. It can spill hot
water if tilted, shaken or tipped over
causing injury or burns.
7. DO NOT use appliance while sleepy or drowsy.
8. DO NOT use in area where aerosol
products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
9. NEVER block the air openings and vents of
the product or place it on a soft surface, such
as a bed or couch, where the air openings
and vents may be blocked. Keep the air
openings free of lint, hair, and other materials.
10. NEVER drop or insert any object into any
opening or vent.

Unplug this product before filling. Fill
(reservoir) with water only unless otherwise
specified by manufacturer.
DO NOT
overfill.
DO NOT
fill with mask installed. Only pour
water directly into Water Reservoir.
12.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
13. CAUTION: To avoid fire or shock
hazard, plug the appliance directly into a
230V AC electrical outlet. DO NOT use an
extension cord or a power strip.
14. The appliance should always be unplugged
and emptied when not in operation or while
being cleaned. Shut off and unplug the
appliance before moving. Plug and unplug
appliance with dry hands. NEVER pull by
the cord to unplug.
15. CAUTION: DO NOT move, lift, shake,
tilt or disassemble while in operation or
if it still contains hot water.
16. DO NOT operate the appliance without water.
17. DO NOT lift the appliance by the Mask.
Lift only by the Base.
18. Appliance requires regular cleaning. Refer
to and follow cleaning instructions.
19. NEVER add any essential oils, medications
or inhalant liquids to the Water Reservoir.
20. DO NOT touch skin with exposed Vicks
VapoPads or place on furniture,fabrics,
bedding or plastics.
21. DO NOT operate outdoors. This appliance
is intended for indoor use.

Accessories
Vicks VapoPads
Vicks VapoPads are designed to work with your
Steam Inhaler to provide soothing vapors. The
Steam Inhaler accepts up to two Vicks VapoPads.
Enjoy up to 8 hours of soothing comfort per pad.
(Two VapoPads Included)
22. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any
electrical or mechanical functions on this
appliance. Doing so will void your warranty.
23. For residential use only.
24. When the appliance is used in a bathroom,
unplug it after use since the proximity of
water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched off.
25. For additional protection, the installation
of a residual current device (RCD) having
a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the
electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
26. After use the appliance should be cleaned
to avoid the accumulation of grease and
other residues.

Using Your Personal Steam Inhaler 9. Adjusting steam intensity:
A. For More Steam: Move the Steam Disk Control
clockwise for maximum steam.
B. For Less Steam: Move the Steam Disk Control
counterclockwise for minimum steam. If at any
time the application becomes too intense, stop
application immediately.
10. When application is complete, move Power Switch to the
OFF position. The Indicator Light will go out. Disconnect
plug from electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool
for at least 20 minutes before moving or relling it (see
Care and Cleaning section). DO NOT operate Sinus
Inhaler when empty.
NOTE: Sinus Inhaler will automatically shut-off when water
runs out. If this happens, move Power Switch to
OFF position and unplug unit.
1. Fully unravel cord. Failure to do so could cause
overheating and possible re hazard. DO NOT use
with extension cords or power strip. Place Inhaler on a
at, stable surface for use.
2. Unlock the Top Housing from the Base by twisting the
Top Housing counter clockwise. When fully unlocked,
the arrow on the Top Housing will align with the
unlock symbol on the Base. Lift the Top Housing
straight up and set aside.
3. Fill Water Reservoir with up to 2.5 tablespoons (40 mL)
of cool tap water. DO NOT ll above Heating Element.
Use with water only. DO NOT add any essential oils,
medication or inhalant liquids to the Water Reservoir.
These will damage the unit and void the warranty.
4. Place Top Housing on the Base and twist clockwise to
lock. When fully locked, you will feel a click and the
arrow on the Top Housing will align with the lock
symbol on Base.
5. Place Mask on Top Housing and gently push down to
ensure Mask is secure.
CAUTION: NEVER move, lift, shake or tilt the Inhaler
while it is in use or while it contains hot water. DO NOT
remove the Mask or Top Housing after turning ON the
Inhaler. Steam is produced by boiling water; tilting or
shaking unit can cause water to spill and possible burns.
CAUTION: DO NOT block any vents.
6. Connect cord to electrical outlet. DO NOT use with
extension cord or power strip. Press the On/Off Switch to
the ON position. The Indicator Light will illuminate.
7. The Sinus Inhaler will take approximately 6 minutes
to begin making steam. Use caution, the Water
Reservoir and water will become hot.
8. Place your face over the Mask. DO NOT rest your face
on the Mask. Breathe normally through your nose and
mouth, inhaling steam into your nasal and throat
passages. Continue application for ve to fteen minutes.

Your Vicks Sinus Inhaler can be used with Vicks VapoPads,
to provide up to 8 hours of soothing vapors. Two samples
of the VapoPads are included with your device.
To use your unit with scent pads, ensure that the unit is OFF
and follow these instructions:
1. Gently slide out the VapoPad Tray from the back of the
Top Housing. Note: Only slide Tray out. DO NOT attempt
to detach the Tray from the Top Housing.
2. Open VapoPad sachet by tearing notch on pad bag.
DO NOT touch pad with hands. If pad is touched, DO NOT
rub face or eyes as it may cause irritation.
3. Insert Vicks VapoPad with angled end at the front of the
tray. Up to two scent pads can be inserted, one in each
slot of the VapoPad Tray. Push VapoPad Tray in to close.
4. When the VapoPad is dried and no longer providing
scent, discard.
NOTE: DO NOT operate Sinus Inhaler if VapoPad Tray is
missing or not secured.
For use with Vicks VapoPads only. Not for use with essential
oils or inhalants. These will damage the unit and void the warranty.
This Sinus Inhaler (with or without Vicks VapoPads)
is not recommended for use by children under 8 years.

Scent Pad Ingredients: VSP-19 Series: Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, Glycol, Cedar Leaf Oil
& Others.
Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: ALWAYS disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet and let the Sinus
Inhaler cool down for at least 20 minutes before cleaning.
After Each Use
1. Remove Mask and Top Housing and wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
2. If any water is left in the Water Reservoir, pour water out and wipe Reservoir and
Base with a dry, clean cloth or paper towel. NEVER immerse the Base in water or
any other liquid.
3. Replace Top Housing and Mask; store in a cool, dry place.
Weekly Maintenance
1. Remove Mask and Top Housing.
2. Pour 2.5 tablespoons (40mL) of undiluted distilled white vinegar into the Water
Reservoir and let sit for 10 minutes.
3. Empty the distilled white vinegar and rinse out Water Reservoir with fresh, clean
tap water. Use caution to not let water get into the electrical areas.
4. Dry the Water Reservoir and Base with a clean cloth or paper towel.
5. Wash Mask with mild soap and warm water then carefully rinse off all soap
with fresh, clean tap water. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
6. Replace Top Housing and Mask. Store in a cool, dry place.
7. To clean the VapoPad Tray, wet the tip of a cotton swab and wipe slots.
NOTE: The Top Housing is dishwasher safe. It may be cleaned in the Top Rack of
the dishwasher or by hand as noted in the instructions. DO NOT place in the bottom
rack of dishwasher. DO NOT attempt to dissamble the Top Housing. The Base should
NEVER be put in the dishwasher.

After Long Periods of Non-Use
If you haven’t used your Sinus Inhaler for two weeks or longer, follow the Weekly
Maintenance Instructions before the next use.
Condition of Sale
As a condition of sale, the purchaser assumes responsibility for the proper care and
use of this appliance in accordance with our printed instructions. The purchaser or
user must judge for himself or herself when to use it and length of use.

This product has been produced with the greatest care for normal, household use.
Following directions carefully will ensure dependable operation. If for any reason
(other than misuse) you are dissatisfied with your Vicks Sinus Inhaler, we will
repair or replace it, at our option, at no charge during the 2 year warranty period.
Modification to the product by the consumer is not authorised and voids the
warranty.
If you experience unsatisfactory operation, please contact Felton Grimwade &
Bosisto’s. If repair is required under the warranty period, the product should be
returned with proof of purchase to Felton Grimwade & Bosisto’s service centre.
The purchaser assumes responsibility for the proper care and use of the product in
accordance with the printed operating manual. The purchaser or user must make
his or her judgment as to when to use the product and the length of use. Keep the
operation manual available as it is your guide to safe, efficient operation.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
