1) Check if space and position correspond to the drawing. Check if there is a telephone line.
2) The pit must be clean and levelled.

Denition of the lift way
3) Place the frame down into the pit as per attached drawing of the lift. Side “d” is the one with the
protruding tubular sections. Lay the frame down on the pit as per attached drawing, (if any, the pit
depth should be 50 mm) Figure 1.

4) Fix the guide on the LH side in the corner between sides “a” and “d” (Figures 4-5).

5) Fix the rst side panel (marked “a1” or “c1”, see drawing and Figure 7) to the guide by means of
ST6 6.3x16 screws.
6) Fix the rst “L”-shaped prole (marked “a1 or “c1”) closing the panels with ST6.3x16 screws and
at the base with 4.2x13 screws (gures 7-8-9).

7) Then proceed in
sequence with the other
panels (a2-a3 etc.
see g. 8-9-10-11).

8) Fix another 2 or 3 panels on the same sides.

9) Fix the rst panel of the guide side (d1) using ST6.3x16 screws (g.12). Put a 30 mm shim under
the panel to place it horizontally (0°) (g.13).

10) Fix also the upper panel (g. 14) on the side “d” called “d2”.

Installation of the carriage assembly.
1) Prepare the platform / machinery unit to be inserted in the guides.

2) Remove the sliding guides on the right side of the machinery (g 15).

3) Now proceed with inserting the machinery, arranging rst a support below the platform landing so
that the whole structure is raised from the ground thus making assembly easier (g. 16/b rif.1), and di-
sconnect the safety edge (g.16/a).

5) Fix the upper cross-beam supporting the worm screw to the guides using special rubber insulators
(g. 17).
4) Now insert the right side guide using ST6.3x14 screws
to the lower frame and to the panels of side “d”.

6) Insert the worm screw in the supporting cross-beam (g. 18), then place the bearing needed for manual
operation in the top section.
7) After inserting the worm screw in the cross-beam, insert the axial bearing (51106), then the shims and
nally tighten with the special nut (g. 19).

Attention: the nut must be locked with Loctite.

7) Now x the joint to the worm screw and the lever for manual emergency operation (g. 20/21).

8) Now x the sliding blocks on the right guide (g. 22).

1) Insert the safety nut (g. 23/a) in the pulling nut (g. 23/b), trying to get them spaced about 7-12 mm
apart (g. 23/c).

2) Fasten the nuts to the pulley using the special pin, and then turn the worm screw to tighten the two
parts. (g. 24).

3) Get the safety microswitch closer to the groove of the speed governor nut (g. 25)

4) The 11 mm distance between the nuts (see g. 23/c) must always be monitored, since it indicates the
nut wear level.To make this check easier, shape the attached metal template (g. 26). Keep it on the ma-
chine (see g.27).

1) Fix and check the proper function of the safety edge, both electrically and mechanically (g. 27).

2) After xing the door frame to the lower level, remove the pallet from under the platform (in manual
emergency mode) and complete the assembly of the panels on sides “a”, “b” and “d”
(g. 28- 29-30-31-32).
