linkedtotheground), itis NOTrecommendedtouseamulti-socketorextensionlead.
-haveasurgeprotectorfittedtotheelectricaloutlet
-awayfromthemicrowave.
Certainmicrowaveovensdo nothavewaveinterference shield.Whenplacedwithina1
metervicinityofthewinecabinet, theymayaffecttheoperationofthewinecabinet.

Iftheambienttemperatureisaboveorbelowthisrange,theperformance oftheunitmay
beaffected.Placingyourunit inextremecoldorhotconditionsmaycauseinterior
temperaturestofluctuate.Theidealrangeoftemperaturemaynotbereached.(See

Groundinginstructions
Thewinecellarmustbegroundedincaseofanelectricalshortcircuit.Groundingreduces
theriskofelectricalshock.Thewinecellarisequippedwithapowercordhavinga
groundingwireandplug. Thewinecellarplugmustbepluggedintoaproperlyaffixedand
groundedelectricaloutlet.
Note:Inlocationswherethereisfrequentlightning,it isadvisabletousesurge
protectors.
Improperuseofthegrounding plugcanresult intheriskofelectricshock.Consult a
qualifiedelectricianorservice personifthegroundinginstructionsarenotcompletely
understood.
Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplace byaqualifiedpersoninordertoavoidelectricalhazard.
INSTALLINGYOUR WINECELLAR
Unpackandremovealloftheprotectionandadhesivestripsfromthepackagingaround
andinsidethewinecellar.
Thewinecellarmustbepositionedsuchthattheplugisaccessible.Releasethepower
cord.Moveyourwinecellartoitsfinallocation.Thewinecellarshouldbeinstalledina
suitableplace wherethecompressorwillnotbesubjecttophysicalcontact.
Levelingyourwinecellar: WinecellarmustbeleveledBEFORE loadingyourwines.
YourVintec winecellarisequippedwith4adjustablefeettofacilitateeasyleveling.
VINTEC recommendsthatyoutightenthebackfeettothemaximumandadjustthefront
feettocreatealevel.
