i terrupter (GFCI). The GFCI should be e closed a d weatherproof a d at least 1
foot above grou d surface. Review your local code requireme ts before use
• Always remove plug from receptacle before i stalli g, wi terizi g or servici g light
• DO NOT USE EXTENSION CORDS - DEATH OR INJURY CAN RESULT

1. Before starti g i stallatio of light, remove ladder or step from pool (if assembled / i stalled
already). Fit cord of light through light bracket, fro t to back (Detail 1.1 - 1.2). The bracket has two
small otches (Detail 1.3 - 1.4), the cord fits i to a otch whe pressi g the light i to the bracket.
Press light to fit i to bracket completely; to the back of the bracket (Detail 1.5)

2. I sert light & bracket i to ladder or stair system. Both u its have a molded hole that will require
to be trimmed out (Detail 1.1 - 1.2). With a utility k ife, trim hole ge tle arou d seam to remove
plastic ce ter leavi g a smooth edge. I sert light a d bracket i to the trimmed hole. Alig holes i
bracket with screw marks i ladder or step (Detail 2.3). Drill a 1/8" hole a d secure bracket & light i
place usi g the stai less screws provided (Detail 2.4). Make certai light is secure. Pass cord up
behi d ladder or step, over pool top rail, a d to GFI receptacle. Make sure cord is secure a d eatly
tucked out of the way as ot to i terfere with traffic i or arou d the pool (Detail 2.5).

tight (Detail 4.1). The tra sformer plug MUST
be plugged i to a 110V GFCI receptacle (see
above safety i formatio ). NEVER USE AN
EXTENSION CORD. The receptacle must be
e closed & weatherproof & at least 1 foot
above grou d surface
