Thebatteryonyournewdeviceisahighcapacityrechargeablelithiumbattery.Itmustbechargedfora
minimumof8hoursbeforefirstuse.4‐6hourswillsufficientlychargetheunitafternormaluse.
Themachinehastwochargingmethodstoselect:
1. ThroughyourcomputersUSBport,whilethecomputerison.Averagechargetimesusingthismethod
canvaryanywherefrom5‐7hours.
2. AUSBwallcharger(soldseparately)canbeusedinconjunctionwiththeUSBcabletochargeyour
device.Chargetimesaveragebetween4‐6hoursusingthismethod.
Inthechargingprocessthechargerandthebackshellofthedevicemaybecomewarm.Thisisnormal.
WhileintheprocessofmovingfilestoorfromyourmediaplayerdonotdisconnecttheUSBcableoritmay
leadtoadataerror.

downtheunitcompletely.Themediaplayerwillautomaticallygointothismodeifthe
batterybecomesdepleted.Atwhichpointtheunitshouldbeconnectedtoapower
sourceandallowedtocharge.
3.2ConnectingtoaComputer
StartthecomputerthenconnecttheprovidedUSBcabletoyourmediaplayerandyour
computer.Ifadriverisneededyourcomputerwillbeabletolocateonetoinstall.
Pleasemakesuretobeonlinewhenconnectingforthefirsttimeincasethedriver
needstobedownloaded.Thenyouwouldsimplydraganddropyourfilesdirectlyinto
themediaplayer.Itdoesnotrequireanythird‐partyprogramstoloadyourfilestothe
mediaplayer.
