HAIRDRYER VT-2329 R
The unit is intended for hair drying, curling and
styling as well as for making hairstyles of differ-
ent complexity.
Tourmaline Ionic technology
When heated up, the innovative Tourmaline Ionic
grid coating emits negative ions, that lock hair
scales, reduce static charge and make your hair
silky smooth.

ATTENTION!
•Do not use the unit near containers filled with
water (such as bath, swimming pool etc.).
•When using the hairdryer in a bathroom, dis-
connect it from the mains immediately after
usage by pulling the power plug out of the
mains socket, as water closeness is danger-
ous even if the unit is switched off.
•For additional protection you can install a resid-
ual current device (RCD) with nominal operation
current not exceeding 30 mA into the bathroom
mains; contact a specialist for installation.
SAFETY MEASURES
Read this instruction manual carefully before
using the unit and keep it for the whole opera-
tion period.
Use the unit for intended purposes only, as speci-
fied in this manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage
and cause harm to the user or damage to his/
her property.
•Before switching hairdryer on, make sure that
your home mains voltage corresponds to unit
operating voltage.
•To avoid fire, do not use adapters for connect-
ing the unit to the mains.
•Use the unit for intended purposes only, use
only the attachments supplied with the unit.
•Never leave the operating unit unattended.
•Do not switch the unit on in places where
aerosols are sprayed or highly inflammable
liquids are used.
•Always unplug the unit after usage and before
cleaning.
•When unplugging the unit, pull the power plug
but not the power cord.
•Do not touch the hairdryer body and the
power plug with wet hands.
•Do not place and do not keep the unit in
places, where it can fall into a bath or a sink
filled with water, do not immerse the unit into
water or other liquids.
•Do not use the unit while taking a bath.
•If the unit is dropped into water, unplug it
immediately and only then take it out of the
water.
•For children safety reasons do not leave poly-
ethylene bags, used as a packaging, unat-
tended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
•Do not allow children under 8 years of age
to touch the unit body, the power cord or the
power plug during operation of the unit.
•Do not leave children unattended to pre-
vent using the unit as a toy.
•Close supervision is necessary when children
under 8 years of age or disabled persons are
near the operating unit.
•This unit is not intended for usage by children
under 8 years of age.
•This unit is not intended for usage by people
(including children over 8) with physical, neu-
ral and mental disorders or with insufficient
experience or knowledge. Such persons may
use this unit only if they are under supervision
of a person who is responsible for their safety
and if they are given all the necessary and
understandable instructions concerning the
safe usage of the unit and information about
danger that can be caused by its improper
usage.
•Do not use the unit when you are drowsy.
•Take the operating unit by its handle only.
•Do not use the unit to style wet hair or syn-
thetic wigs.
•Do not direct hot air into your eyes or other
heat-sensitive parts of your body.
•Avoid contact of heated surfaces with your
face, neck and other parts of your body.
•The nozzle gets hot during operation, allow it
to cool down before removal.
•Do not drop the unit or insert foreign objects
into any of the unit body openings.

•Never block the air inlets of the hairdryer, do
not place the hairdryer on a soft surface, such
as a bed or couch, where the air inlets may be
blocked. Keep the air inlets free of lint, dust,
hair etc.
•Avoid getting of hair into the air inlet grid dur-
ing operation of the unit.
•It is recommended to unwind the power cord
to its full length while using the unit.
•The power cord should not:
– touch hot objects,
– run over sharp edges,
– be used as a handle for carrying the unit.
•Check the power cord and power plug insula-
tion integrity periodically.
•Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction
is detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.
•Transport the unit in the original package
only.
•For environmental protection do not dispose
of the unit with usual household waste after
its service life expiration; apply to a special-
ized center for further recycling.
•Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.

IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS
PROHIBITED.
USING THE HAIRDRYER
After unit transportation or storage under
cold (winter) conditions, it is necessary to
keep it for at least two hours at room tem-
perature before switching on.
•Before switching the unit on, make sure that
your home mains voltage corresponds to the
operating voltage of the hairdryer.
•Unwind the power cord completely.
•Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
•Use the switch (6) to set the required air sup-
ply speed, the operation indicator (2) will
light up:
«0» – the hairdryer is off;
– low speed;
– high speed.
•Set the required temperature of the air flow
using the switch (5):
– low heating;
– medium heating;
– maximal heating.
Note: During the first operation some for-
eign smell and a small amount of smoke
from the heating element is possible, this
is normal.
Hair care
To get the best results, wash your hair with sham-
poo (before drying and styling), dry it with a
towel to remove excessive moisture and comb
your hair.
Quick drying
Set the switch (5) to the maximal heating
position (position ). Use the switch (6) to set
the required air supply speed and dry your hair.
Shake off excessive moisture from the hair with
your hand or a comb and constantly move the
hairdryer above your hair.
Straightening
Set the switch (5) to the maximal heating posi-
tion (position ). Use the switch (6) to set the
required speed of air supply and dry your hair
first. When the hair is almost dry, set the noz-
zle (1), decrease the heating degree using the
switch (5) and decrease the air supply speed
using the switch (6).
Divide your hair into locks and layers and start
straightening from the lower layers. Using a
plain or a round brush, comb the hair down-
wards and simultaneously direct hot air
from the nozzle at your hair. This way, slowly
straighten each lock from root to end. After you
finish straightening the locks of the lower hair
layer, start straightening the locks of the mid-
dle layer and finish with the locks of the upper
hair layer.
Natural wavy hair structure
Set the switch (5) to the low heating position
(position ), select the low air supply speed,
setting the switch (6) to the position , grip
locks between fingers, turn them in the direc-
tion of natural curling and dry them directing
air between fingers. When the required effect is
achieved, press the cool shot button (4) and
fix each lock.

Styling
Set the switches (5, 6) to the low heating and low
speed position and attach the nozzle (1) to the
hairdryer for directed air flow.
Divide your hair into locks and create a required
hair style by means of a round hair-brush. During
hair styling direct the air flow straight onto your
hair in the desired direction.
If necessary, direct the air flow at each lock for
2-5 seconds to fix hair. Styling time is determined
individually according to hair type.
Cool shot
This model is provided with cool shot mode for
fixing your hairstyle. To fix your hairstyle press
and hold the cool shot button (4) .
Overheating protection
This hairdryer has overheating protection that
switches the unit off if the outgoing air is too hot.
If the hairdryer is switched off during operation,
switch it off with the switch (6) by setting it to the
«0» position, unplug the hairdryer, make sure that
the air inlets and outlets are unblocked and let
the hairdryer cool down for 5-10 minutes. After
that you can switch it on again. Do not block the
air inlets during unit operation and avoid getting
of hair into its air inlet.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
•Set the switch (6) to the position «0» – the
operation indicator (2) will go out – and then
unplug the hairdryer.
•The body of the hairdryer can be cleaned with
a damp cloth, after that wipe the hairdryer dry.
Take the air inlet grid (3) and rotate it counter-
clockwise, then remove the grid.
•Clean the grid (3) with a brush, install the grid
back to its place matching the ledges on the
grid (3) with the grooves on the hairdryer body
and turn the grid clockwise until fixing.
•Never immerse the unit into water or other
liquids.
•Do not use abrasives and solvents to clean
the unit.
STORAGE
•Always unplug the hairdryer if it is not being
used.
•Never wind the power cord around the hairdryer,
as this can damage the cord. Handle the power
cord with care, do not pull, twist or stretch it,
especially near the power plug or at the junction
point. Straighten the cord periodically if it gets
twisted during hairdryer operation.
•For easy storing there is a hanging loop (7),
you can store the unit by means of this loop
provided that no water gets on the hairdryer
in this position.
•Let the unit cool down after using it and keep it
in a dry cool place out of the reach of children
and disabled persons.
