high quality results, quickly and easily. Please take a few minutes to read through this important document
as any damage caused to your laminator by user error is not covered under warranty.
SETUP
1. Always operate the machine on a at and stable surface.
2. Ensure there is enough space at the rear of the machine to exit.
3. Ensure that you are using the correct voltage AC240V/50Hz, the voltage information should relate to the rating
panel on the machine.

OPERATION DESCRIPTION

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock,
including the following:
What is a‘Lifejacket®’?
The Lifejacket® is a highly durable patented product made from Teflon® that should be used when laminating cut-up, odd
shaped pieces (such as shapes, letters, signs as show above) to prevent damage to your laminator and potential jamming.
Why use a Lifejacket®?
. Protects your laminator from jamming
. Extends the life of your laminator by using the Lifejacket® - stops adhesive seeping onto the rollers
. Eliminates repair bills as this product keeps your laminator working at an optimum level
. Available in A4, A3 and A2 sizes to protect documents of all sizes

Please note, if you do not follow the safety guidelines above and your laminator breaks, you will not be covered under
warranty.

CAUTION
Operation Method:
1. Turn on the power switch and choose
the suitable pouch thickness. When
light is on then you can start.
2. Use the correct size pouch
for the work being laminated
and feed sealed edge first
NB. For laminating dierent pouch thicknesses, the speed remains the same but the temperature varies.
1. After switching on the machine do not power off within 1-minute.
2. Always unplug the appliance when not in use.
3. The laminator will become hot in use and care should be taken when using the machine.
4. Do not immerse the power cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquids or use near water.
5. Do not insert any metal objects or other foreign objects such as hair, fingers or clothing into the appliance.
6. Remove paper clips and staples before laminating.
7. Only laminate paper or board. Do not laminate unusual objects.
8. Do not spray anything into or lubricate the machine.
9. It is normal to hear the sound of the motor running during operation especially when using a 75 mic pouch
10. Avoid use in direct sunshine or with other intensive light source

Hot laminating operation:
1. Set the touch panel according to the pouch thickness.
2. Allow 1-minute for machine to warm-up. The indicator will light up and not flash when the
roller has reached the correct temperature.
3. Use the correct size pouch for the work being laminated and feed sealed edge in first
Reverse function operation:
If the machine jams during lamination please press the button.
Machine protection function:
1. If the machine is left idle for more than 30 mins, the rollers and heating will automatically stop and
bbthe ready indicator light will flash slowly.
bbTo wake the machine, touch the operation panel or reverse button or you can directly insert a
bbpouch.
2. The motor will be in reverse function when the ready indicator light is flashing. The machine cannot
bblaminate in that position.
3. The operation touch panel will be locked whilst a pouch is being laminated
4. The pouch will reverse when the reverse button is pressed. The motor will go forward once the pouch
cciis completely cleared.
5. If power is cut-off during use the leaving film will automatically exit when power is reinstated.
1. Before undertaking maintenance, ensure that the machine is powered o and disconnected from the
mains supply.
2. A damp cloth may be used to remove surface stains. To avoid electric shock do not place the machine
in a humid environment or near an air conditioner vent. Ensure the machine is completely dry before
re-connecting power.
3. Do not touch or place anything on the surface of a hot laminator, let it completely cool before moving
or cleaning.
4. When laminating heat-sensitive documents changes to the colour and appearance may be
experienced.
5. Lamination is not suitable for items over 3mm thickness.
6. Lamination is not suitable for sticky, easily meltable materials or paper
thickness of less than 50g/m2
