1. Preparation and activation

The packaging includes following components: 2x
smart heated gloves, 2x batteries, power supply
(charger), your personal welcome guide, fox winter
story.
1.1 Please charge your device before usage until the
LED turns green. To do that please open the silicone
element on the battery module.
1.2 Remove the module from the charging system.
Open the zipper and connect the battery module to
the DC connector which is inside the pocket.
1.3 Download and install the Vulpés mobile
application form the Apple App Store or the Google
Play Store on your mobile device.
1.4 Switch on the Bluetooth function on your mobile
device and start the Vulpés mobile application.
1.5 Please configure your profile by entering your
name and selecting your avatar. Please add your
product to your inventory.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that there is no other
unpaired heated gloves located nearby.It could
cause pairing issues when activating the gloves for
the first time.
1.6 Congratulations! The device is ready for use.

1. Preparation and activation
1.7 Manual Mode
Within the manual mode you can choose beween
three temperature levels.
Low (yellow LED): 40°C / 104°F
Medium (orange LED): 50°C / 122°F
High (red LED): 55°C / 131°F
Please press the button on the gloves to activate,
deactivate or switch the temperature level. When
switch on, the system always starts at the highest
heating level.
1.8 Temperature regulation via smartphone
After successful pairing you can set your individual
temperature via mobile app. In the control menu
you can adjust the temperature via the steering
wheel or with + and –buttons. The device can be
switched on and off by pressing on the glove icon.
During the stand-by mode of your smartphone the
gloves proceed with warming up your hands
according to the pre-set value. When you open the
Vulpés app, the gloves automatically calibrate with
your mobile device.

2. Battery properties
2.1 The maximum heating time of one battery is 8
hours under normal terms of use and under
environmental temperature of >15°C.
2.2 The range of the heating temperature is 35°C /
95°F to 55°C / 131°F. Please consider that the actual
temperature on the surface is different from the
heating temperature which is defined as the
temperature of heating wires during the warming
process.
2.3 The battery properties are shown below:

3. Important information
3.1 Cleaning: Please remove the electronic device
before cleaning the gloves with the moist cloth from
the outside. We strongly recommend cleaning the
gloves by hand to not damage the materials and
heating elements. The battery, the components and
the material of which the product consists should
never be plunged in water, as this will cause damage
to the electronic components. If water penetrates
the product, it should be drained completely. Before
you again attempt to use the thermal system, it
must be completely dried out. During the drying
process please prevent any contact with heaters.
3.2 Disposal: Please dispose the device according to
disposal guidance for electronics in your country.
This device shall not be treated as household waste.
Instead, it shall be handed over to the appropriate
collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. By ensuring this device is
disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential
negative consequences for the environment and
human health, which could otherwise be caused by
inappropriate waste handling of this device. The
recycling of materials will help to conserve natural
resources. For more detailed information about
recycling of this device, please contact your local
civic office, your household waste disposal service,
or the shop where you purchased the device. 9

3.3 Charging process: Please do not use the
product during the charging process.It is essential
that the product is switched off before you start
charging.
3.4 Charging frequency: When the device is not in
use please keep it charged at least every second
month to prevent the downgrade of the battery
capacity.
3.5 Power supply (charger): Connect the charger to
power sources. Do not use outdoors or in damp
areas. Do not alter or subject the cord to damage
or stress. Unplug the unit before cleaning it. Never
alter the plug. If it does not fit into the outlet, have
a proper outlet installed by an electrician.
3.6 Please handle the device with care and keep it
in a clean and dust-free place. Please do not expose
it to flames, drop, throw or try to bend the
product.
3.7 Please protect the gloves from sharp objects.
3.8 Children: Warning! Keep out of the reach of
children. Do not allow children to play with devices
or accessories. They could hurt themselves or
others. Products may contain small parts that could
become detached and create a choking hazard.

4. Warranty Terms
4.1 Our Warranty: Subject to the conditions of this
Limited Warranty, Vulpés warrants this Product to
be free from defects in design, material and
workmanship at the time of its original purchase by
a consumer. This Limited Warranty will last for a
period of one (1) year as from the original date of
purchase of the Product.
4.2 Warranty claim: If, during the warranty period,
this Product fails to operate under normal use and
service, due to defects in design, materials or
workmanship, Vulpés authorized distributors or
service partners, where you purchased the Product,
will, at their option, either repair or replace the
Product in accordance with the terms and
conditions stipulated herein. Vulpés and its service
partners reserve the right to charge a handling fee
if a returned Product is found not to be under
warranty according to the conditions below.
4.3 Conditions:
a. This Limited Warranty is valid only if the original
proof of purchase for this Product issued by a
Vulpés authorized dealer specifying the date of
purchase and serial number, is presented with the
Product to be repaired or replaced. Vulpés reserves
the right to refuse warranty service if this
information has been removed or changed after
the original purchase of the Product from the
dealer. 11

b. If Vulpés repairs or replaces the Product, the
repair for the defect concerned, or the replaced
Product shall be warranted for the remaining time
of the original warranty period or for ninety (90)
days from the date of repair, whichever is longer.
Repair or replacement may involve the use of
functionally equivalent reconditioned units.
Replaced parts or components will become the
property of Vulpés.
c. This warranty does not cover any failure of the
Product that is due to the normal wear and tear,
use in environments where relevant IP rating
limitations, if applicable, are exceeded (including
liquid damage or the detection of liquid inside the
device resulting from such use), misuse or failure
to use in accordance with the Vulpés instructions
for use and maintenance of the Product. Nor does
this warranty cover any failure of the Product due
to accident, software or hardware modification or
adjustment, or acts of God.
d. A rechargeable battery can be charged and
discharged more than a hundred (100) times.
However, it will eventually wear out –this is not a
defect and corresponds to normal wear and tear.

e. This warranty does not cover Product failures
caused by installations, modifications, or repair or
opening of the Product performed by a non-Vulpés
authorized person.
f. There are no express warranties, whether written
or oral, other than this limited warranty. All implied
warranties, including without limitation the implied
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose, are limited to the duration of
this limited warranty. In no event shall Vulpés or its
licensors be liable for incidental or consequential
damages of any nature whatsoever, including but
not limited to lost profits or commercial loss to the
full extent those damages can be disclaimed by
law. The warranty provided does not affect the
consumer’s statutory rights under applicable
legislation in force, nor the consumer’s rights
against the dealer arising from their sales
/purchase contract.
g. The Limited Warranty is only valid for brand-new
products. Second-hand articles are exluded from
the Warranty Terms.

1. Vorbereitung und Aktivierung

In der Verpackung befinden sich: 2x beheizbare
Handschuhe, 2x Batterien, Ladekabel, Ihre persön-
liche Gebrauchsanweisung und die Fuchs-geschichte
1.1 Laden Sie vor der Verwendung die Batterien
vollständig auf bis die LED grün leuchtet, indem Sie
das Silikonelement öffnen und es an das Mikro USB
Kabel anschließen.
1.2 Trennen Sie die Module vom Ladekabel und
stecken Sie diese in die dafür vorgesehene
Handschuhtasche. Verbinden Sie anschließend die
Module mit dem vorgesehenen DC Anschluss.
1.3 Laden und installieren Sie die mobile Vulpés
Applikation aus dem Apple App Store oder dem
Google Play Store herunter.
1.4 Schalten Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone die Bluetooth
Funktion ein und starten Sie die mobile Vulpés App.
1.5 Konfigurieren Sie Ihr Profil und koppeln Sie Ihre
Handschuhe mit dem Smartphone.
WICHTIG: Bitte achten Sie beim ersten Koppeln
darauf, dass keine weiteren beheizbaren Hand-
schuhe in der Nähe sind.Es könnte zu Kopplungs-
problemen führen.
1.6 Glückwunsch! Sie gelangen nun in das Kontroll-
menü und können die Handschuhe nutzen.

1.7 Verwendung im manuellen Modus
Im manuellen Modus stehen Ihnen drei Temperatur-
stufen zur Verfügung.
Geringe Temperatur (gelbe LED): 40°C / 104°F
Mittlere Temperatur (orangene LED): 50°C / 122°F
Hohe Temperatur (rote LED): 55°C / 131°F
Um den Handschuh ein- oder auszuschalten oder die
Wärmeintensität zu verändern, klicken Sie bitte auf
den Knopf auf der Handoberfläche. Beim Einschalten
startet das System immer mit der höchsten Wärme-
intensität.
1.8 Verwendung mit Hilfe des Smartphones
Nach erfolgreichem Koppeln mit Ihrem Smartphone
haben Sie die Möglichkeit Ihre Wohlfühltemperatur
präzise einzustellen. Gehen Sie bitte hierfür auf Ihre
mobile Vulpés App und wählen Sie das gekoppelte
Gerät aus. Sie gelangen in das Kontrollmenü. Sie
können die Temperatur sowohl über das Steuerrad
als auch über die + und –Knöpfe anpassen. Beim
klicken auf die Handschuhe aktivieren oder deakti-
vieren Sie die Wärmeunterstützung.
Im Standby Modus des Smartphones, heizt der
Handschuh auf dem vorab eingestellten Level
weiter. Sobald Sie das Smartphone wieder ein-
schalten, kalibriert sich der Handschuh automatisch
mit dem mobilen Endgerät. 15

2. Batterieeigenschaften
2.1 Die maximale Heizdauer einer Batterie beträgt 8
Stunden unter Berücksichtigung der normalen
Gegebenheiten und der Umgebungstemperatur von
>15°C.
2.2 Die Heiztemperatur liegt zwischen 35°C / 95°F
und 55°C / 131°F. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die
genannte Temperatur nicht die Oberflächen-
temperatur sondern die Temperatur der Heiz-
elemente beim Wärmevorgang ist.
2.3 Die technischen Eigenschaften der Batterie sind
in der unteren Tabelle dargestellt:

3. Wichtige Hinweise
3.1 Reinigung: Bitte entfernen Sie alle Batterien
bevor Sie die beheizbaren Handschuhe von außen
mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen. Dringt Wasser in
das Produkt ein, ist dieses vollständig zu entleeren
und umfassend zu trocknen. Bitte lassen Sie die
Handschuhe vor dem nächsten Gebrauch voll-
ständig austrocknen. Lassen Sie die Handschuhe
nur an der Luft trocknen. Vermeiden Sie jeglichen
Kontakt mit Heizkörpern oder Heizgeräten.
3.2 Entsorgung: Bitte entsorgen Sie das Produkt
gemäß der Elektronik- und Batterieentsorgungs-
richtlinien. Es muss an einer entsprechenden
Annahmestelle für das Recycling von elektrischen
und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.
Bauen Sie keine Festeingebauten Akkus aus.
Festeingebaute Akkus dürfen nur von einer
Abfallaufbereitungseinrichtung oder einem geschul-
ten Servicetechniker ausgebaut werden. Durch
Ihren Beitrag zum korrekten Entsorgen dieses
Produktes schützen Sie die Umwelt und die
Gesundheit Ihrer Mitmenschen.
3.3 Aufladeprozess: Bitte benutzen Sie das Geräte
nicht während des Aufladeprozesses.Es ist wichtig,
dass das Produkt in einem ausgeschalteten
Zustand ist, bevor Sie diesen laden.

3.4 Aufladezyklus: Bei Nichtbenutzung des Gerätes
laden Sie bitte die Batterie mindestens einmal in
zwei Monaten auf. Bei Nichteinhaltung des
Hinweises könnte es zu einer Verschlechterung der
Batteriekapazität führen.
3.5 Netzteil (Ladegeräte): Schließen Sie das
Ladegerät ausschließlich an Stromquellen an, die
den Angaben auf dem Produkt entsprechen. Bitte
nutzen Sie keine Stromquellen, die außerhalb von
Gebäuden und / oder in Feuchtbereichen
positioniert sind.
3.6 Lagerung: Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Gerät
nicht bei hohen oder sehr niedrigen Temperaturen
und bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit gelagert werden
darf. Achten Sie bitte ferner auf die sorgfältige
Nutzung des Gerätes. Bitte setzen Sie das Gerät
nicht den Flammen, Wasser und Strahlungen aus.
Bitte vermeiden Sie jegliche Gewalteinwirkungen.
3.7 Schützen Sie die Handschuhe vor scharfen oder
spitzen Gegenständen.
3.8 Kinderwarnung: Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht in
die Reichweite von Kindern gelangen. Sie können
sich oder Dritte verletzen. An dem Produkt
befinden sich eventuell Kleinteile, die abgelöst und
verschluckt werden und so zu Erstickungen führen
können.

4. Garantie
4.1 Unsere Garantie: Nach Maßgabe der
Bedingungen dieser eingeschränkten Garantie,
garantiert Vulpés, dass dieses Produkt zum Zeit-
punkt des Erwerbs frei von Konstruktions-, Material-
und Fertigungsfehlern ist. Diese eingeschränkte
Garantie gilt für Ihr Produkt für einen Zeitraum von
einem (1) Jahr ab dem ursprünglichen Kaufdatum
des Produktes.
4.2 Garantiefälle: Wenn dieses Produkt während der
Garantiezeit bei sachgemäßem Einsatz und Service
irgendwelche Design-, Material- oder Fertigungs-
fehler aufweist, wird ein von Vulpés autorisierter
Vertragspartner das Produkt im Rahmen der nach-
stehenden Bedingungen nach seinem Ermessen ent-
weder repariert oder ersetzt. Vulpés oder seine
Vertragspartner behalten sich das Recht vor, eine
Bearbeitungsgebühr zu erheben, wenn das zurück-
gesendete Produkt nicht unter die hier aufgeführten
Garantiebestimmungen fällt.
4.3 Garantiebedingungen:
a. Diese eingeschränkte Garantie gilt nur, wenn der
von einem autorisierten Vulpés Vertragshändler für
dieses Produkt ausgestellte original Kaufbeleg mit
Seriennummer und dem Kaufdatum zusammen mit
dem zu reparierenden bzw. zu ersetzendem Produkt
vorgelegt wird. Vulpés behält sich das Recht vor,
Garantieleistungen zu verweigern, wenn diese Infor-
mationen nach dem Kauf des Produktes entfernt
oder geändert wurde. 19

b. Wenn Vulpés das Produkt repariert oder Ersatz
leistet, gilt der Garantieanspruch für die Reparatur
des betroffenen Mangels bzw. für das ersetzte
Produkt für die verbleibenden Zeit der ursprüng-
lichen Garantiezeit bzw. für neunzig (90) Tage ab
dem Reparaturdatum, je nachdem, welcher Zeit-
raum länger ist. Reparatur oder Austausch kann mit
funktional gleichwertigen, instandgesetzten Kompo-
nenten vorgenommen werden. Ersetzte Bauteile
oder Baugruppen gehen in das Eigentum von Vulpés
über.
c. Diese Garantie gilt unter Beachtung der
Anweisung von Vulpés bezüglich Verwendung und
Wartung nicht für Fehler am Gerät, die durch
normalen Verschließ oder missbrauch entstanden
sind. Diese Garantie gilt auch nicht für Fehler am
Gerät aufgrund von Unfällen bzw. Veränderungen
und Anpassungen der Hardware und Software,
höherer Gewalt und durch Flüssigkeiten verursachte
Schäden.
d. Ein Akku kann mehr als hundert (100) mal ge-und
entladen werden. Trotzdem unterliegt er einem ge-
wissen Verschleiß. Dabei handelt es sich nicht um
einen Defekt, sondern um normale Abnutzung.
