Sicherheitshinweise für
Säbelsägen
Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitshin-
weise und Anweisungen. Ver-
säumnisse bei der Einhaltung der Sicherheitshin-
weise und Anweisungen können elektrischen
Schlag, Brand und/oder schwere Verletzungen
verursachen.
Bewahren Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise und
Anweisungen für die Zukunft auf.
❏Halten Sie das Gerät nur an den isolierten
Griffflächen, wenn Sie Arbeiten ausführen,
bei denen das Einsatzwerkzeug verborgene
Stromleitungen treffen kann. Der Kontakt mit
einer spannungsführenden Leitung kann auch
metallene Geräteteile unter Spannung setzen
und zu einem elektrischen Schlag führen.
❏Befestigen und sichern Sie das Werkstück mit-
tels Zwingen oder auf andere Art und Weise
an einer stabilen Unterlage. Wenn Sie das
Werkstück nur mit der Hand oder gegen Ihren
Körper halten, bleibt es labil, was zum Verlust
der Kontrolle führen kann.
❏Vor jeder Benutzung Gerät und Akku überprü-
fen. Werden Schäden festgestellt, Gerät nicht
weiter benutzen. Reparatur nur von einem
Fachmann durchführen lassen. Gerät nie selbst
öffnen.
❏Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät (z. B. Wartung,
Werkzeugwechsel, usw.) den Akku entneh-
men. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch ein
unbeabsichtigt anlaufendes Gerät.
❏Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät ausgeschal-
tet ist und der Umschalter 5 in Mittelstellung
steht, bevor Sie den Akku einsetzen oder das
Gerät transportieren. Es besteht Verletzungs-
gefahr durch ein unbeabsichtigt anlaufendes
Gerät.
❏Verwenden Sie in diesem Elektrowerkzeug
nur den dafür vorgesehenen Akku. Der
Gebrauch von anderen Akkus kann zu Verlet-
zungen und Brandgefahr führen.
❏Überzeugen Sie sich vor der Benutzung vom
sicheren Sitz des Akkus im Gerät.
❏Beim Arbeiten das Gerät immer fest mit beiden
Händen halten und für einen sicheren Stand
sorgen.
❏Nach Beendigung des Arbeitsvorganges Gerät
ausschalten und Sägeblatt erst dann aus dem
Schnitt ziehen und ablegen, wenn dieses zum
Stillstand gekommen ist (Rückschlaggefahr).
❏Nur scharfe, einwandfreie Sägeblätter verwen-
den. Rissige, verbogene oder unscharfe Säge-
blätter sofort auswechseln.
❏Beim Arbeiten muss der Führungsbügel 2
immer am Werkstück anliegen.
❏Das Gerät darf nur mit den zugehörigen
Schutzvorrichtungen betrieben werden.
❏Das Gerät vor dem Ablegen immer ausschalten
und warten bis es zum Stillstand gekommen ist.
❏Niemals Kindern die Benutzung des Gerätes
gestatten.
Akku und Ladegerät
❏Unbedingt die beiliegende Bedienungsanlei-
tung des Ladegerätes lesen!
❏Bei falscher Anwendung kann Flüssigkeit aus
dem Akku austreten. Vermeiden Sie den Kon-
takt damit. Bei zufälligem Kontakt mit Wasser
abspülen. Wenn die Flüssigkeit in die Augen
kommt, nehmen Sie zusätzlich ärztliche Hilfe
in Anspruch. Austretende Akkuflüssigkeit kann
zu Hautreizungen oder Verbrennungen führen.
❏Laden Sie die Akkus nur in Ladegeräten auf,
die vom Hersteller empfohlen werden. Für ein
Ladegerät, das für eine bestimmte Art von
Akkus geeignet ist, besteht Brandgefahr, wenn
es mit anderen Akkus verwendet wird.
❏Erwärmten Akku vor dem Laden abkühlen las-
sen.
Akku vor Hitze und Feuer schützen:
Explosionsgefahr! Akku nicht auf Heiz-
körper ablegen oder längere Zeit star-
ker Sonneneinstrahlung aussetzen,
Temperaturen über 50 °C schaden.
❏Akku nicht öffnen sowie vor Stoß schützen. Tro-
cken und frostsicher aufbewahren.
❏Halten Sie den nicht benutzten Akku fern von
Büroklammern, Münzen, Schlüsseln, Nägeln,
Schrauben oder anderen kleinen Metallge-
genständen, die eine Überbrückung der Kon-
takte verursachen könnten.
Ein Kurzschluss zwischen den Akkukontakten
kann Verbrennungen oder Feuer zur Folge
haben.

Warnung! Um die durch einen Kurzschluss verur-
sachte Gefahr eines Brandes, von Verletzungen
oder Produktbeschädigungen zu vermeiden, tau-
chen Sie das Werkzeug, den Wechselakku oder das
Ladegerät nicht in Flüssigkeiten ein und sorgen Sie
dafür, dass keine Flüssigkeiten in die Geräte und
Akkus eindringen. Korrodierende oder leitfähige
Flüssigkeiten, wie Salzwasser, bestimmte Chemika-
lien und Bleichmittel oder Produkte, die Bleichmittel
enthalten, können einen Kurzschluss verursachen.

Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Die Säbelsäge sägt Holz, Kunststoff und Metall. Sie
schneidet Geraden, Kurven und Innenausschnitte.
Sie schneidet Rohre und trennt flächenbündig ab.
Für Schäden bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßem
Gebrauch haftet der Benutzer.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme
Die Akkus werden teilgeladen und im Ruhezustand
ausgeliefert. Vor dem Erstgebrauch muss der Akku
aktiviert werden, hierzu Akku kurz auf das Ladege-
rät stecken. Die LED 9 am Akku zeigen den Ladezu-
stand an.
Wird der Akku längere Zeit nicht benutzt, schaltet
der Akku in den Ruhezustand. Zur erneuten Nut-
zung muss der Akku wieder aktiviert werden.
Bei vollständiger Entladung schaltet der Akku auto-
matisch ab (Tiefenentladung nicht möglich). Wird
das Elektrowerkzeug dennoch eingeschaltet, gibt

der Akku nur kurze Stromimpulse ab. Das Elektro-
werkzeug „tickert“ als Hinweis, dass der Akku nun
aufgeladen werden muss.
Grundsätzlich gilt: Sollte das Elektrowerkzeug nach
Einstecken des Akkus nicht funktionieren, den Akku
auf das Ladegerät stecken. Die Anzeigen an Akku
und Ladegerät geben dann Auskunft über den Lade-
zustand (siehe Hauptbild).
Bei niedrigen Temperaturen kann mit verringerter
Leistung weitergearbeitet werden. Unter -18 °C
schaltet der Akku automatisch ab.
Akku laden
Ein neuer oder längere Zeit nicht verwendeter Akku
bringt erst nach ca. 2 - 3 Lade- und Entladezyklen
seine volle Leistung.
Zur Entnahme des Akkus 6 die Tasten 8 drücken und
den Akku nach hinten herausziehen. Keine Gewalt
anwenden.
Die Inbetriebnahme des Ladegerätes sowie die
Beschreibung des Ladevorganges entnehmen Sie
bitte der beigelegten Anleitung „Ladegerät“.
Der Akku ist mit einer NTC-Temperaturüberwa-
chung ausgestattet, welche Ladung nur im Tempera-
turbereich zwischen +5 °C und +40 °C zulässt.
Dadurch wird eine hohe Akku-Lebensdauer erreicht.
Eine wesentlich verkürzte Betriebszeit nach der Auf-
ladung zeigt an, dass die Akkus verbraucht sind und
ersetzt werden müssen.

Akku-Ladezustandsanzeige
(siehe Hauptbild)
Der Akku 6 ist mit einer Ladezustandsanzeige 9
ausgestattet.
Durch Drücken der Taste 10 kann der Ladezustand
auch bei abgenommenen Akku bzw. bei stillstehen-
dem Gerät geprüft werden (Gerät mindestens 1
Minute ausgeschaltet). Nach ca. 4 Sekunden erlischt
die Ladezustandsanzeige selbsttätig.
Beim Blinken des ersten Anzeigeelementes (0 –
10 %) ist der Akku nahezu entladen und muss wie-
der aufgeladen werden.
Einsetzen des Sägeblattes
(siehe Bild )
❏Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät den Akku heraus-
nehmen.
❏Schnellwechsel-Aufnahme 3 öffnen; hierzu
Spannring in Pfeilrichtung verdrehen und festhal-
ten.
❏Sägeblatt 1 bis zum Anschlag einschieben und
Spannring loslassen. Das Sägeblatt wird automa-
tisch eingespannt. Sägeblatt auf festen Sitz kon-
trollieren (Schutzhandschuhe tragen!).
❏Nur Sägeblätter mit ausreichender Länge ver-
wenden. Das Sägeblatt muss auch in der hinteren
Stellung (H) über das Werkstück hinausragen.
Sägeblätter können zerbrechen, wenn sie gegen
das Werkstück oder den Führungsbügel stoßen.
Verstellen des Führungsbügels
(siehe Bild )
☞Im Bereich kurz vor dem Führungsbügel wird
das Sägeblatt am meisten abgenutzt. Um die
Standzeit des Sägeblattes zu erhöhen kann
der Führungsbügel verschoben werden.
❏Spannhebel 7 nach unten ziehen und Führungs-
bügel in gewünschte Lage verschieben. Spannhe-
bel wieder nach oben schwenken.
Inbetriebnahme
Akku einsetzen
Den Umschalter 5 auf Mitte stellen (Einschaltsperre).
Den geladenen Akku 6 in den Griff einschieben bis
dieser spürbar einrastet.
Ein-/Ausschalten
Einschalten: Ein-/Ausschalter 4 drücken.
Die Hubzahl kann je nach Druck auf den Ein- Aus-
schalter 4 stufenlos verstellt werden.
Ausschalten: Ein-/Ausschalter 4 loslassen.
Bei aktivierter Einschaltsperre kann der Ein-/Aus-
schalter nicht betätigt werden!

Arbeitshinweise
Wenn Sie in eine Wand einen Ausschnitt sägen wol-
len, prüfen Sie vorher, ob elektrische oder sonstige
Versorgungsleitungen im Sägebereich verlaufen.
Beim Sägen die Maschine nur an den Kunststofftei-
len festhalten. Dadurch wird ein elektrischer Schlag

verhindert, falls eine elektrische Leitung angesägt
wird.
Um Vibrationen zu vermeiden den Führungsbügel
beim Sägen flach auf das Material drücken.
Sägen in Metall
Das Metall mit geringer Hubzahl ansägen und dann
die Hubzahl langsam am Schalterdrücker steigern.
Bei Innenausschnitten eine Bohrung, die etwas grö-
ßer als das Sägeblatt ist, anbringen und von dort
den Schnitt beginnen.
Beim Metallsägen entlang der Schnittlinie Kühl- und
Schmiermittel auftragen (Öl, Petroleum).
Herstellen von Innenausschnitten
Tauchschnitte sind nur bei weichen Materialien
möglich. Maschine einschalten und auf Führungsbü-
gel aufsetzen, mit einer Hand am Gehäuse vorn gut
festhalten und mit der anderen Hand am Handgriff
nach oben drücken und Sägeblatt eintauchen.
Staubabsaugung
❏Stäube von Materialien wie bleihaltigem
Anstrich, einigen Holzarten, Mineralien und
Metall können gesundheitsschädlich sein. Berüh-
ren oder Einatmen der Stäube können allergische
Reaktionen und/oder Atemwegserkrankungen
des Benutzers oder in der Nähe befindlicher Per-
sonen hervorrufen.
Bestimmte Stäube wie Eichen- oder Buchenstaub
gelten als krebserzeugend, besonders in Verbin-
dung mit Zusatzstoffen zur Holzbehandlung
(Chromat, Holzschutzmittel). Asbesthaltiges Mate-
rial darf nur von Fachleuten bearbeitet werden.
- Sorgen Sie für gute Belüftung des Arbeitsplat-
zes.
- Es wird empfohlen, eine Atemschutzmaske mit
Filterklasse P2 zu tragen.
Beachten Sie in Ihrem Land gültige Vorschriften
für die zu bearbeitenden Materialien.
Wartung und Reinigung
❏Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät den Akku heraus-
nehmen.
❏Gerät und Lüftungsschlitze stets sauberhalten, um
gut und sicher zu arbeiten.
Sollte das Gerät trotz sorgfältiger Herstell- und Prüf-
verfahren einmal ausfallen, ist die Reparatur von
einem Würth master-Service ausführen zu lassen. In
Deutschland erreichen Sie den Würth Master-Ser-
vice kostenlos unter Tel. 0800-WMASTER (0800-9
62 78 37). In Österreich unter der Tel. [phone]
13.
Bei allen Rückfragen und Ersatzteilbestellungen bitte
unbedingt die Artikelnummer laut Typenschild des
Gerätes angeben.
Die aktuelle Ersatzteilliste dieses Gerätes kann im

nager“ aufgerufen oder von der nächstgelegenen
Würth-Niederlassung angefordert werden.
Entsorgung
Elektrowerkzeuge, ZubElektrogeräte,
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht zusam-
men mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt wer-
den. Elektrische Geräte und Akkus
sind getrennt zu sammeln und zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung bei
einem Verwertungsbetrieb abzugeben. Erkundigen
Sie sich bei den örtlichen Behörden oder bei Ihrem
Fachhändler nach Recyclinghöfen und Sammelstel-
len.
Transport von Lithium-Ionen-
Akkus
Lithium-Ionen-Akkus fallen unter die gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen zum Gefahrguttransport.
Der Transport dieser Akkus muss unter Einhaltung
der lokalen, nationalen und internationalen Vor-
schriften und Bestimmungen erfolgen.
Verbraucher dürfen diese Akkus ohne Weiteres auf
der Straße transportieren.
Der kommerzielle Transport von Lithium-Ionen-
Akkus durch Speditionsunternehmen unterliegt den
Bestimmungen des Gefahrguttransports. Die Ver-
sandvorbereitungen und der Transport dürfen aus-
schließlich von entsprechend geschulten Personen
durchgeführt werden. Der gesamte Prozess muss
fachmännisch begleitet werden.
Folgende Punkte sind beim Transport von Akkus zu
beachten:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kontakte geschützt und
isoliert sind, um Kurzschlüsse zu vermeiden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Akkupack innerhalb der
Verpackung nicht verrutschen kann.
Beschädigte oder auslaufende Akkus dürfen nicht
transportiert werden.
Wenden Sie sich für weitere Hinweise an Ihr Spedi-
tionsunternehmen.

Gewährleistung
Für dieses Würth-Gerät bieten wir eine Gewährleis-
tung gemäß den gesetzlichen/länderspezifischen
Bestimmungen ab Kaufdatum (Nachweis durch
Rechnung oder Lieferschein). Entstandene Schäden
werden durch Ersatzlieferung oder Reparatur besei-
tigt.
Schäden, die auf natürliche Abnutzung, Überlas-
tung oder unsachgemäße Behandlung zurückzufüh-
ren sind, werden von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen.
Beanstandungen können nur anerkannt werden,
wenn Sie das Gerät unzerlegt einer Würth-Nieder-
lassung, Ihrem Würth-Außendienstmitarbeiter oder
einer Würth-autorisierten Kundendienststelle für
Elektro- und Druckluftwerkzeuge übergeben.

Vibrationsinformation
Messwerte ermittelt entsprechend EN 62841.
Der A-bewertete Geräuschpegel des Gerätes
beträgt typischerweise: Schalldruckpegel 86 dB (A);
Schallleistungspegel 97 dB (A). Messunsicherheit
K=3 dB.
Gehörschutz tragen!
Schwingungsgesamtwerte (Vektorsumme dreier
Richtungen) ermittelt entsprechend EN 62 841:
Sägen in Holz*: Schwingungsemissionswert
ah, B =18,25 m/s 2, Unsicherheit K =1,5 m/s 2,
*mit Sägeblatt, Größe 150 x 1,4/1,9 mm und
Zahnteilung 4,2 mm.
Sägen von Holzbalken*: Schwingungsemissionswert
ah, WB =21,17 m/s 2, Unsicherheit K =1,5 m/s 2,
*mit Sägeblatt, Größe 150 x 1,4/1,9 mm und
Zahnteilung 4,2 mm.
Der in diesen Anweisungen angegebene Schwin-
gungspegel ist entsprechend einem in EN 62 841
genormten Messverfahren gemessen worden und
kann für den Vergleich von Elektrowerkzeugen mit-
einander verwendet werden. Er eignet sich auch für
eine vorläufige Einschätzung der Schwingungsbe-
lastung.
Der angegebene Schwingungspegel repräsentiert
die hauptsächlichen Anwendungen des Elektrowerk-
zeugs. Wenn allerdings das Elektrowerkzeug für
andere Anwendungen, mit abweichenden Einsatz-
werkzeugen oder ungenügender Wartung einge-
setzt wird, kann der Schwingungspegel abweichen.
Dies kann die Schwingungsbelastung über den
gesamten Arbeitszeitraum deutlich erhöhen.
Für eine genaue Abschätzung der Schwingungsbe-
lastung sollten auch die Zeiten berücksichtigt wer-
den, in denen das Gerät abgeschaltet ist oder zwar
läuft, aber nicht tatsächlich im Einsatz ist. Dies kann
die Schwingungsbelastung über den gesamten
Arbeitszeitraum deutlich reduzieren.
Legen Sie zusätzliche Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zum
Schutz des Bedieners vor der Wirkung von Schwin-
gungen fest wie zum Beispiel: Wartung von Elektro-
werkzeug und Einsatzwerkzeugen, Warmhalten der
Hände, Organisation der Arbeitsabläufe.
Konformitätserklärung

Safety warnings for sabre saws
Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may re-
sult in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all safety warnings and instructions for future
reference.
❏Hold the power tool only by the insulated grip-
ping surfaces when performing an operation
where the cutting tool may contact hidden wir-
ing. Contact with a “live” wire will also make ex-
posed metal parts of the power tool “live” and
shock the operator.
❏Use clamps or another practical way to secure
and support the workpiece to a stable plat-
form. Holding the workpiece by hand or
against your body leaves it unstable and may
lead to loss of control.
❏Before each use, check the machine and battery. If
damage is detected, do not use the machine. Have
repairs performed only by a qualified technician.
Never open the machine yourself.
❏Before any work on the power tool (e.g. main-
tenance, changing the tool, etc.), remove the
battery. There is danger of injury from an acci-
dentally starting power tool.
❏Before inserting the battery or transporting the
power tool, make sure that the machine is
switched off and the selector switch 5 is in the
centre position. There is danger of injury from an
accidentally starting power tool.
❏Use power tools only with specifically desig-
nated battery packs. Use of any other battery
packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
❏Convince yourself before using that the battery is
securely seated in the machine.
❏When working with the machine, always hold it
firmly with both hands and provide for a secure
stance.
❏When the cut is completed, switch off the
machine and then pull the saw blade out of the
cut only after it has come to a standstill (danger
of kick-back).
❏Use only sharp, flawless saw blades. Replace
immediately cracked, bent or dull saw blades.
❏When working, the guide frame 2 must always
be in contact with the workpiece.
❏The machine must be operated only with the
associated protective devices.
❏Always switch the machine off and wait until it
has come to a standstill before placing it down.
❏Never allow children to use the machine.
Battery and Battery Charger
❏The enclosed operating instructions for the bat-
tery charger must be read carefully!
❏Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact acci-
dentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid con-
tacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liq-
uid ejected from the battery may cause irritation
or burns.
❏Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire
when used with another battery pack.
❏Allow a heated battery to cool before charging.
Protect the battery from heat and fire:
Danger of explosion! Do not place the
battery on radiators or expose to strong
sun rays for a longer time; temperatures
over 50 °C cause damage.
❏Do not open the battery, and protect it from
impact. Store in a dry and frost-free place.
❏When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from other metal objects like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects
that can make a connection from one terminal
to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.
Warning! To avoid the risk of fire, personal injury,
or product damage caused by a short-circuit, do
not immerse the tool, the replaceable battery or
the battery charger into liquids, and ensure that no
liquids penetrate the tools and batteries. Corrosive
or conductive liquids such as salt water, certain
chemicals and bleach, or products containing
bleach can cause a short-circuit.

Not all of the accessories illustrated or described are included
as standard delivery.
Use as Intended
This sabre saw cuts wood, plastic, and metal. It cuts
curves and can cut flush to a surface.
For damage caused by usage other then intended,
the user is responsible.
Before Putting into Operation
The batteries are partially charged and delivered in
idle state. The battery must be activated before using
for the first time. For this, place the battery onto the
charger for a short time. The LED 9 on the battery
indicates the charge condition.
When the battery is not used for longer periods, it
switches to the idle state. In order to use the battery
again, it must be reactivated.
When the battery is completely discharged, it
switches off automatically (deep discharging not
possible). When the power tool is switched on none-
theless, the battery delivers only brief current pulses.
The power tool “flickers” as an indication that the
battery must be charged.
As a general rule: Should the power tool not be
operative after inserting the battery, place the bat-
tery onto the charger. The indicators on the battery
and the charger then provide information about the
battery condition (see main figure).
At low temperatures, further operation is possible
with reduced power output. The battery switches off
automatically below -18 °C.
Battery Charging
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer
period does not develop its full capacity until after
approximately 2 – 3 charging/discharging cycles.
To remove the battery 6, press the unlocking but-
tons 8 and pull out the battery toward the rear. Do
not exert any force.
Please refer to the enclosed “Battery Charger”
instructions for the operation of the battery charger
as well as for a description of the charging process.
The battery is equipped with an NTC temperature
control which allows charging only within a temper-
ature range of between +5 °C and +40 °C. A long
battery service life is achieved in this manner.
A significantly reduced working period after charg-
ing indicates that the batteries are used and must be
replaced.

Charge-control Indicator (see main figure)
The battery 6 is fitted with a charge-control indica-
tor 9.
By pressing the button 10, the battery charge can
also be checked when the battery has been
removed, or when the machine is at a standstill
(machine must be switched off for at least 1 minute).
After approx. 4 seconds the battery charge display
automatically turns off.
When the first display element begins to flash (0 –
10 %) the battery is almost empty and must be
recharged.
Inserting the saw-blade
(see figure )
❏Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
❏Open the quick-change 3 holder by turning the
clamping ring in the direction of the arrow and
holding.
❏Insert the saw blade 1 as far as it will go and
release the tension ring. The saw blade is fixed
automatically. Check that the saw blade is sitting
firmly (wear protective gloves!)
❏Only use saw blades with adequate length. The
saw blade has to be longer than the working
piece even when working with the lowest stroke
rate (H). Saw blades can break if hit against the
working piece or the guide shoe.
To adjust cutting shoe
(see figure )
☞The saw blade gets worn most in the area just
before the guide shoe. To increase the life of
the saw blade the guide shoe can be moved.
❏Pull the clamping lever 7 downward and move
the guide bracket to the requested position. Push
the clamping lever up again.
Initial Operation
Inserting the Battery
Set the rotational direction switch 5 to the centre
position (locked off). Slide the charged battery 6 in
into the handle until it can be felt to latch.
Switching On/Off
Switching on: Press the On/Off switch 4.
Increasing or reducing the pressure on the On/Off
switch 4 enables stepless stroke-rate control.
Switching off: Release the On/Off switch 4.
When the lock-off is activated, the On/Off switch
cannot be actuated!

Actuate the gear selector 5 only when the machine
has come to a complete stop!
Operating Instructions
If you want to saw a cut into a panelled wall, check
beforehand if there are any electric or other cables
in the area to be sawn (eg. with metal detector).
When sawing, only hold plastic parts of machine.
This will prevent an electric shock should you saw
through a cable.
In order to avoid vibrations press the guide shoe flat
to the working material when sawing.
Sawing metal
When sawing into metal start with a low stroke rate,
then increase the stroke rate by depressing the switch.
For plunge cutting, first drill a hole which is slightly
larger than the saw blade and then start to cut.
When sawing into metal apply coolant and lubricant
(oil, paraffin oil) along the cutting line.
Plunge cuts
Plunge cutting is only possible in soft materials.
Switch on machine and rest guide shoe on work-
piece, hold housing firmly with one hand at the top
and with your other hand push upwards on the hand
grip, slowly plungeing in the saw blade.
Dust Protection
❏Dusts from materials such as lead-containing
coatings, some wood types, minerals and metal
can be harmful to one’s health. Touching or
breathing-in the dusts can cause allergic reac-
tions and/or lead to respiratory infections of the
user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are con-
sidered as carcinogenic, especially in connection
with wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood
preservative). Materials containing asbestos may
only be worked by specialists.
- Provide for good ventilation of the working
place.
- It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class res-
pirator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country
for the materials to be worked.

Maintenance and Cleaning
❏Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
❏For safe and proper working, always keep the
machine and the ventilation slots clean.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing, repair should be carried
out by a Würth Master-Service agent.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders,
always include the article number on the type plate
of the machine.
For the current spare parts list of this machine, log
into the Internet under “http://www.wuerth.com/
partsmanager” or ask for a copy at your nearest
Würth branch office.
Disposal
Electrical devices/tools as well as
batteries/rechargeable batteries
may not be disposed of together with
household waste. Electrical equip-
ment and batteries must be collected
separately and disposed of environ-
mental-friendly at a recycling facility. Check with the
local authorities or your specialist shop for recycling
facilities and collection points.
Transporting Lithium
Batteries
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous
Goods Legislation requirements.
Transportation of those batteries has to be done in
accordance with local, national and international
provisions and regulations.
The user can transport the batteries by road without
further requirements.
Commercial transport of Lithium-Ion batteries by
third parties is subject to Dangerous Goods regula-
tions. Transport preparation and transport are
exclusively to be carried out by appropriately
trained persons and the process has to be accompa-
nied by corresponding experts.
When transporting batteries:
Ensure that battery contact terminals are protected
and insulated to prevent short circuit.
Ensure that battery pack is secured against move-
ment within packaging.
Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leak.
Check with forwarding company for further advice
Warranty
For this Würth tool, we provide a warranty in
accordance with statutory/country-specific regula-
tions from the date of purchase (proof of purchase
by invoice or delivery note). Damage that has
occurred will be corrected by replacement or repair.
Damage caused by normal wear, overloading or
improper handling is excluded from the warranty.
Claims can only be accepted if the power tool is sent
undisassembled to a Würth branch office, your
Würth sales representative or a customer service
agent for Würth compressed-air and power tools.

The declared vibration emission level represents the
main applications of the power tool. However if the
power tool is used for other applications, with differ-
ent accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration
emission may differ. This may significantly increase
the vibrational impact over the total working period.

An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration
should also take into account the times when the tool
is switched off or when it is running but not actually
doing the job. This may significantly reduce the ex-

Indicazioni di sicurezza per seghe universal
Leggere tutte le avvertenze di
pericolo e le istruzioni opera-
tive. In caso di mancato rispetto
delle avvertenze di pericolo e delle istruzioni opera-
tive potrebbe verificarsi il pericolo di scosse elettriche,
incendi e/o incidenti gravi.
Conservare tutte le avvertenze di pericolo e le istru-
zioni operative per ogni esigenza futura.
❏Quando si eseguono lavori nel corso dei quali
l’utensile accessorio potrebbe arrivare a toccare
linee elettriche non visibili, afferrare l’elettrouten-
sile soltanto alle superfici d’impugnatura. Un
contatto con un cavo elettrico mette sotto tensione
anche le parti in metallo dell’elettroutensile e pro-

❏Avere cura d’impiegare negli elettroutensili solo
ed esclusivamente le batterie ricaricabili esplici-

❏Prima di utilizzare la macchina, assicurarsi che la
batteria sia ben inserita nell’apposito vano.
❏Durante le operazioni di lavoro è necessario
tenere la macchina sempre con entrambe le mani
ed adottare una posizione di lavoro sicura.
❏Disinserire la macchina a conclusione di un’ope-
razione di lavoro ed estrarre la lama quando la
macchina è completamente ferma (pericolo di
contraccolpo) e conservarla.
❏Utilizzare soltanto seghe taglienti ed in perfetto
stato. Sostituire immediatamente lame incrinate,
piegate oppure non più affilate.
❏Durante l’operazione di lavoro la staffa di guida 2
deve aderire bene sul pezzo in lavorazione.
❏La macchina può essere utilizzata soltanto con i
relativi dispositivi di protezione.
❏Prima di poggiare la macchina, è necessario spe-
gnerla ed attendere fino a quando la macchina si
sarà fermata completamente.
❏Mai permettere a bambini di utilizzare la mac-
china.
Batteria e stazione di ricarica
❏È estremamente indispensabile leggere le alle-
gate istruzioni per l’uso relative alla stazione di
ricarica!
❏In caso d’impiego errato si provoca il pericolo di
fuoriuscita di liquido dalla batteria ricaricabile.
Evitarne assolutamente il contatto. In caso di con-
tatto accidentale, sciacquare accuratamente con
acqua. Rivolgersi immediatamente al medico,
qualora il liquido dovesse entrare in contatto con
gli occhi. Il liquido fuoriuscito dalla batteria ricari-
cabile potrà causare irritazioni cutanee o ustioni.
❏Ricaricare le batterie solo ed esclusivamente ser-
vendosi delle stazioni di ricarica esplicitamente
consigliate dalla casa costruttrice. Per una sta-
zione di ricarica prevista per l’impiego con un
determinato tipo di batteria ricaricabile, sussisterà
pericolo d’incendio se utilizzata con batterie di
tipo diverso.
❏Prima di procedere all’operazione di ricarica, far
raffreddare le batterie surriscaldate.
Proteggere la batteria da surriscalda-
mento e da fiamme: Pericolo di esplo-
sione! Non poggiare le batterie su termo-
sifoni, né esporle a lungo all’azione
diretta dei raggi solari: temperature supe-
riori a 50 °C provocano danni.
❏Non aprire la batteria e proteggerla contro gli urti.
Conservarla in luogo asciutto e protetto contro il
gelo.
❏Non avvicinare batterie non utilizzate a fermagli,
monete, chiavi, chiodi, viti oppure altri piccoli
oggetti metallici che potrebbero provocare un
ponte con i contatti.
Un corto circuito tra i contatti delle batterie ricari-
cabili può provocare bruciature oppure lo svi-
luppo di incendi.
❏Avvertenza! Per impedire il pericolo di un incen-
dio, di lesioni o di danneggiamenti al prodotto
causati da un corto circuito non immergere in
liquidi l’utensile, la batteria ricaricabile sostituibile
o il caricabatteria e provvedere affinché nessun
liquido penetri negli apparecchi e nelle batterie
ricaricabili. Liquidi corrosivi o conduttori, come
acqua salata, determinate sostanze chimiche e
sostanze candeggianti oppure prodotti che con-
tengono sostanze candeggianti possono causare
un corto circuito.

Questo sega diritta può essere utilizzato per lavorare
legno, materiale sintetico e acciaio: per effettuare tagli
diritti e obliqui, curve e per tagli all ’interno del mate-
riale.
Per danni provocati da uso non conforme alle
norme, risponde esclusivamente l’Utente.
Prima della messa in esercizio
Le batterie ricaricabili vengono fornite parzialmente
ricaricate ed in stato di riposo. Prima di usarla per
la prima volta, la batteria ricaricabile deve essere
attivata. A tale fine, inserire la batteria ricaricabile
brevemente sulla stazione di ricarica. I LED 9 della
batteria ricaricabile indicano lo stato di ricarica.
Se la batteria ricaricabile non viene utilizzata per un
periodo maggiore di tempo, la batteria ricaricabile
passa allo stato di riposo. Per poterla utilizzare nuo-
vamente la batteria ricaricabile deve di nuovo
essere attivata.
In caso di scaricamento completo la batteria ricari-
cabile si stacca automaticamente (la scarica pro-
fonda non è possibile). Se ciononostante si accende
l’elettroutensile, la batteria ricaricabile produce solo
brevi impulsi di corrente. L’elettroutensile "ticchetta"
indicando che la batteria ricaricabile deve dunque
essere di nuovo ricaricata.
In linea di massima vale: se dopo aver inserito la
batteria ricaricabile l’elettroutensile non dovesse
funzionare, inserire la batteria ricaricabile nella sta-
zione di ricarica. Le spie alla batteria ed alla sta-
zione di ricarica informa llo stato della batteria (vedi
figura principale).

In caso di temperature minori è possibile continuare
a lavorare con una prestazione ridotta. La batteria
ricaricabile si disattiva automaticamente in caso di
temperature sotto -18 °C.
Caricare la batteria
Una batteria che non sia stata utilizzata per un
lungo periodo di tempo arriva a portare la sua
piena prestazione solo dopo ca. 2 – 3 cicli di rica-
rica e scarica.
Per la rimozione della batteria ricaricabile 6 pre-
mere il tasto 8 e togliere la batteria estraendola da
dietro. Non forzare.
Per la messa in servizio della stazione di ricarica e
la descrizione delle operazioni di ricarica, vedere le
allegate istruzioni «Stazione di ricarica».
La batteria è equipaggiata con un dispositivo di con-
trollo della temperatura NTC, che permette l’opera-
zione di ricarica soltanto entro valori di temperatura
compresi tra +5 °C e +40 °C. In questo modo si rag-
giunge un’elevata durata della batteria.
Una durata di funzionamento della batteria che con
ogni operazione di ricarica diventa sempre più
breve sta ad indicare che le batterie sono usurate e
che devono essere sostituite.
❏Osservare le istruzioni relative alla protezione
dell’ambiente.
Spia dello stato di carica della batteria
(vedi figura principale)
La batteria 6 è dotata di un indicatore dello stato di
carica della batteria 9.
Premendo il tasto 10 è possibile controllare lo stato
di carica della batteria anche quando la batteria è
estratta oppure quando la macchina non è in opera
(macchina spenta almeno 1 minuto). L’indicatore
dello stato di ricarica si spegne automaticamente
dopo ca. 4 secondi.
Quando i primi elementi dell’indicatore (0 – 10 %)
lampeggiano significa che la batteria è quasi com-
pletamente scarica e che deve essere ricaricata.
Inserimento della lama
(vedere figura )
❏Prima di eseguire qualsiasi lavoro alla macchina,
estrarre la batteria.
❏Aprire l’alloggiamento a cambio rapido 3. A tal
fine, girare l’anello di fissaggio in direzione della
freccia e tenerlo fermo.
❏Inserire la lama fino all’arresto 1 e fissare l’anello. La
lama viene fissata automaticamente. Controllare che
lama sia salda (indossare i guanti di protezione).
❏Utilizzare solo lame lunghe a sufficienza. La lama
deve sporgere dal materiale anche quando la corsa
scelta é la piu’breve (H). Le lame si possono spez-
zare quando urtano contro il materiale da tagliare o
se sfregano contro la staffa di guida.
Regolazione della staffa di guida
(vedere figura )
☞La lama si consuma spesso in un punto, poco
prima della staffa. Per una maggiore durata
della lama, la staffa puo’essere posizionata.
❏Tirare la leva di bloccaggio 7 verso il basso e spo-
stare la staffa di guida nella posizione desiderata.
Orientare nuovamente la leva di bloccaggio verso
l’alto.
Messa in funzione
Inserimento della batteria
Posizionare sul centro l’invertitore del senso di rota-
zione 5 (blocco di avviamento). Introdurre
nell’impugnatura la batteria carica 6 fino a perce-
pirne lo scatto d’innesto.
Inserimento-Disinserimento
Avviare: Premere l’interruttore avvio/arresto 4.
Il numero delle corse può essere regolato in continuo
a seconda della pressione che si esercita sull’inter-
ruttore di avvio/arresto 4.
Arrestare: Lasciare l’interruttore avvio/arresto 4.
Con blocco di accensione attivato, l’interruttore di
avvio/arresto non può essere azionato!

Azionare il commutatore 5 esclusivamente ad appa-
recchio fermo!
Istruzioni per il lavoro
Quando si desidera effetuare un taglio in una parete,
sarà necessario verificare che non via siano conduttori
elettrici o altri cavi nella zona in cui intende praticare il
taglio (per esempio, utilizzando un cercacavi).
Segando una parete, reggere l’utensile tenendo solo le
parti in materiale plastico (per evitare il pericolo di
shock elettrico, nel caso si dovessero inavvertitamente
tagliare dei cavi elettrici).
Per evitare vibrazioni, quando si sta tagliando, pre-
mere la staffa di guida contro il materiale, in modo
che le due superfici siano aderenti fra loro.

Segare il metallo
Iniziare a tagliare il metallo a bassa velocità e poi
aumentare la corsa lentamente, premendo sullo inter-
ruttore principale. Dovendo eseguire intagli in una
superficie, é necessario fare un foro un pò più grande
della lama e incominciare a tagliare da questo foro.
Segando metalli, applicare lungo la traccia di
taglio, prodotti per il raffredamento (olio o petrolio).
Effettuare tagli dall’interno del materiale
Sono possibili tagli all’interno di una superficie solo
con materiali teneri. Avviare l’elettroutensile ed
appoggiare la staffa di guida, premere con una
mano sulla parte anteriore della carcassa e con
l’altra mano nella impugnatura, tirare verso l’altro in
modo che la lama tagli in profondità.
Protezione antipolvere
❏Polveri e materiali come vernici contenenti
piombo, alcuni tipi di legname, minerali e metalli
possono essere dannosi per la salute. Il contatto
oppure l’inalazione delle polveri possono cau-
sare reazioni allergiche e/o malattie delle vie
respiratorie dell’operatore oppure delle persone
che si trovano nelle vicinanze.
Determinate polveri come polvere da legname di
faggio o di quercia sono considerate cancerogene,
in modo particolare insieme ad additivi per il tratta-
mento del legname (croato, protezione per legno).
Materiale contenente amianto deve essere lavorato
esclusivamente da personale specializzato.
- Provvedere per una buona aerazione del posto-
di lavoro.
- Si consiglia di portare una mascherina protet-
tiva con classe di filtraggio P2.
Osservare le norme in vigore nel Vostro paese
per i materiali da lavorare.
Cura e manutenzione
❏Prima di eseguire qualsiasi lavoro alla mac-
china, estrarre la batteria.
❏Mantenere la macchina e le fessure di ventila-
zione sempre in perfetto stato di pulizia per poter
lavorare bene e sicuri.
Se nonostante gli accurati procedimenti di produ-
zione e di controllo la macchina dovesse guastarsi,
la riparazione va fatta effettuare da un punto di
assistenza Würth master-Service autorizzato.
Per ogni tipo di richiesta o di ordinazione di pezzi
di ricambio, è indispensabile comunicare sempre il
codice articolo riportato sulla targhetta di fabbrica-
zione della macchina.
L’attuale distinta dei pezzi di ricambio di questa
macchina può essere consultata nel sito Internet
«http://www.wuerth.com/partsmanager» oppure
è possibile richiederla presso la più vicina filiale
Würth.
Smaltimento
Apparecchi elettrici, batterie/batte-
rie ricaricabili non devono essere
smaltiti insieme ai rifiuti domestici.
Apparecchi elettrici e batterie ricari-
cabili devono essere raccolti separa-
tamente e consegnati per lo smalti-
mento rispettoso dell’ambiente ad un’azienda di
riciclaggio. Informarsi presso gli enti pubblici locali
o presso il Vostro rivenditore in merito a centri di
riciclaggio e centri di raccolta.
Trasporto di batterie agli ioni
di litio
Le batterie agli ioni di litio sono soggette alle dispo-
sizioni di legge sul trasporto di merce pericolosa.
Il trasporto di queste batterie deve avvenire rispet-
tando le disposizioni e norme locali, nazionali ed in-
ternazionali.
Gli utilizzatori possono trasportare queste batterie
su strada senza alcuna restrizione.
Il trasporto commerciale di batterie agli ioni di litio
è regolato dalle disposizioni sul trasporto di merce
pericolosa. Le preparazioni al trasporto ed il tra-
sporto stesso devono essere svolti esclusivamente da
persone idoneamente istruite. Tutto il processo deve
essere gestito in maniera professionale.
Durante il trasporto di batterie occorre tenere conto
di quanto segue:
Assicurarsi che i contatti siano protetti ed isolati per
evitare corto circuiti.
Accertarsi che il gruppo di batterie non possa spo-
starsi all´interno dell'imballaggio.
Batterie danneggiate o batterie che perdono liquido
non devono essere trasportate.
Per ulteriori informazioni si prega di contattare il
proprio trasportatore.

Il livello di oscillazione indicato nelle presenti istru-
zioni è stato rilevato seguendo una procedura di mi-
surazione conforme alla norma EN 62841 e può es-
sere utilizzato per il confronto di elettroutensili. Lo
stesso è idoneo anche per una valutazione provviso-
ria del carico da oscillazioni.
Il livello di oscillazione indicato rappresenta gli im-
pieghi principali dell’elettroutensile. Se tuttavia
l’elettroutensile viene utilizzato per altri impieghi
con accessori differenti oppure con manutenzione
insufficiente, il livello di oscillazione può differire.
Questo può aumentare sensibilmente il carico da
oscillazioni per l’intero periodo operativo.
Per una valutazione precisa del carico da oscillazio-
ni sarebbe necessario considerare anche i tempi in
cui l'apparecchio è spento oppure è acceso ma non
viene utilizzato effettivamente. Questo può ridurre
chiaramente il carico da oscillazioni per l’intero pe-

Adottare misure di sicurezza supplementari per la
protezione dell’operatore dall’azione delle oscilla-

Avertissements de sécurité pour scies sabre
Lire toutes les indications et consi-
gnes de sécurité. Ne pas suivre les
avertissements et instructions peut
donner lieu à un choc électrique, un incendie et/ou une
blessure sérieuse.
Conserver tous les avertissements et toutes les instructions
pour pouvoir s’y reporter ultérieurement.
❏Tenir l’appareil électroportatif seulement par les par-
ties isolées des poignées lors des travaux pendant les-
quels l’outil de travail risque de toucher des câbles
électriques cachés. Le contact avec des conduites sous
tension entraîne une mise sous tension des parties
métalliques de l’appareil, provoquant ainsi une
décharge électrique.
❏Utiliser des pinces ou un autre moyen pratique pour
fixer et soutenir la pièce à usiner sur une plateforme
stable. Lorsqu'elle est tenue avec la main ou contre le
corps, la pièce à usiner reste instable et cela peut con-
duire à une perte de contrôle.
❏Avant chaque utilisation, vérifier l’appareil et l’accumu-
lateur. Ne jamais mettre en marche un appareil endom-
magé. Les réparations ne doivent être confiées qu’à un
spécialiste. Ne jamais ouvrir l’appareil soi-même.
❏Avant d’effectuer des travaux sur l’appareil (p. ex.
travaux d’entretien, changement d’outils, etc.) retirer
l’accumulateur de l’appareil. Il y a un risque de bles-
sure causé par un démarrage non intentionné de
l’appareil.
❏Vérifiez que l’appareil est éteint et que le commuta-
teur 5 se trouve dans la position médiane avant de
monter l’accu ou de transporter l’appareil. Il y a un ris-
que de blessure causé par un démarrage non inten-
tionné de l’appareil.
❏Dans les outils électroportatifs, n’utilisez que les accu-
mulateurs spécialement prévus pour celui-ci. L’utilisa-
tion de tout autre accumulateur peut entraîner des bles-
sures et des risques d’incendie.
❏Avant utilisation, toujours contrôler que l’accumulateur
est correctement en place.
❏Pendant le travail avec cet appareil, le tenir toujours fer-
mement des deux mains. Adopter une position stable et
équilibrée.
❏Après avoir terminé une passe de découpe, commencer
par arrêter l’appareil. Ne retirer la lame de scie hors du
trait de coupe qu’après avoir attendu son immobilisa-
tion complète (risque de contre-réaction violente).
❏N’utiliser que des lames bien affûtées et en parfait état.
Remplacer immédiatement les lames fissurées, défor-
mées ou émoussées.
❏Pendant le travail, l’étrier de guidage 2 doit toujours
être en contact avec la pièce.
❏L’appareil ne doit être exploité qu’avec les dispositifs de
protection adéquats.
❏Avant de déposer l’appareil, toujours le mettre hors
fonctionnement et attendre l’arrêt total de l’appareil.
❏Ne jamais permettre aux enfants d’utiliser cet appareil.
Accumulateur et chargeur
❏Lire absolument le mode d’emploi du chargeur
ci-joint !
❏En cas d’utilisation abusive, du liquide peut sortir de
l’accumulateur. Evitez tout contact avec ce liquide. En
cas de contact par mégarde, rincez soigneusement
avec de l’eau. Au cas où le liquide rentrerait dans les
yeux, consultez en plus un médecin. Le liquide qui sort
de l’accumulateur peut entraîner des irritations de la
peau ou causer des brûlures.
❏Ne chargez les accumulateurs que dans des chargeurs
recommandés par le fabricant. Un chargeur approprié
à un type spécifique d’accumulateur peut engendrer un
risque d’incendie lorsqu’il est utilisé avec d’autres accu-
mulateurs.
❏Avant de recharger un accumulateur surchauffé, le lais-
ser refroidir.
Protéger l’accumulateur contre toute exposi-
tion à la chaleur ou au feu : risque d’explo-
sion ! Ne pas poser l’accumulateur sur un
corps chaud (radiateur, par exemple). Ne pas
l’exposer trop longtemps à un fort ensoleille-
ment. Les températures dépassant 50 °C lui
sont néfastes.
❏Ne pas ouvrir l’accumulateur. Le protéger de tout choc
mécanique. L’entreposer dans un endroit sec et à l’abri
du gel.
❏Tenir l’accu non-utilisé à l’écart de toutes sortes
d’objets métalliques tels que agrafes, pièces de mon-
naie, clés, clous, vis ou autres, étant donné qu’un pon-
tage peut provoquer un court-circuit.
Un court-circuit entre les contacts d’accu peut provo-
quer des brûlures ou un incendie.
❏Avertissement ! Pour éviter le risque d’incendie causé
par un court-circuit, le risque de blessures ou d’endom-
magement du produit, ne pas immerger l’outil, la batte-
rie de rechange ou le chargeur dans des liquides et
veiller à ce qu’aucun liquide ne pénètre dans les appa-
reils et les batteries. Les liquides corrosifs ou conduc-
teurs tels que l’eau salée, certains produits chimiques et
agents de blanchissement ou de produits contenant des
agents de blanchissement, peuvent entraîner un court-
circuit.
❏N’utiliser que des accessoires d’origine de Würth.
Pour travailler sans risque avec cet appa-
reil, lire intégralement au préalable les
instructions de service et les remarques
concernant la sécurité. Respecter scrupu-
leusement les indications et les consignes
qui y sont données. En plus, il convient de
respecter les consignes d’ordre général touchant à la
sécurité qui sont définies dans le cahier joint.
