INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Lower the LED Flex down the shaft while holding it firmly underneath the
connection point with the power cable.

Secure the LED Flex to the plugs with the cable ties provided.
4.
Continue with the installation of the LED Flex by repeating Step 2 and 3.
NOTE: Depending on the nature of the wall, 2 or 3 fixings may be required
for the first metre/top of the shaft. Thereafter, a fixing every 2m to 3m should
suffice.

Power on the LED Flex.

Drill 8mm holes along the desired path of the LED Flex and insert
the push-plugs, as shown.
Do not suspend the LED Flex by the power cable,
as this may cause the electrical connection to loosen.

The LED Flex can be cut every metre. The cut points are clearly
marked on the LED Flex. Do not power on the LED Flex when it is
coiled.
Do not squeeze or bend the LED Flex sharply.
The LED Flex is designed for high luminance. The lifespan (MTTF)
of the LEDs is much higher than fluorescent tubes.
Nevertheless, we recommend a cool-down phase after 12 hours
of continuous operation to maximise its life span.
Do not hold the LED Flex by the power cable, as this may loosen
the connection between the power cable and the LED Flex.
Do not perform other local electrical installations while the LED
Flex is powered on.
Do not submerge the LED Flex in water.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1.
If the LED Flex does not light up when it is powered on.
- The connection between the power cable and the LED Flex may have
loosened. Check the connection between the electrical cable and LED Flex
for soundness.
Or
- The power cable may be damaged or broken. Check its integrity.
2.
If a segment in the middle of the LED Flex does not light up.
- The circuit of that segment may be broken. Please replace this segment.
3.
If the PVC coating of the LED Flex is stiff and difficult to bend or flex.
- The environmental temperature could be too low.
4.
If it emits a strange odour and the PVC coating of the LED Flex has overheated
and softened.
- Heat can accumulate if the environmental temperature is too high. Power off
and allow the LED Flex to cool down. Do not store an unused LED Flex at a high
temperature.
