Power supply and charging
26. Before first use, make sure the power voltage matches the
information on the rating label of this appliance.
27. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorized service agent or a similarly
qualified person.
28. WARNING: The appliance has a polarized
plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician.
29. Do not attempt to modify this plug or attempt to defeat its
safety feature in any way.
30. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table counters
or allow it to touch hot surfaces.
31. The power plug is used to disconnect the appliance from
the power supply. Please ensure that the power plug is in an
operable condition.
32. Removing the power plug is the only way to completely
disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
33. Disconnect from the power supply by pulling the power plug.
Do not pull on the power cord.
34. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Do not plug in
the power cord or operate the appliance with wet hands.
35. Disconnect the power plug when the appliance is not in use, in
case of malfunctions, prior to attaching accessories and prior to
each cleaning.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Unpack and remove all packaging materials from the appliance
and accessories.
2. Check for damage that may have occurred during transport.
If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance
and return it to your retail outlet immediately.
3. Clean the appliance before first use. See ‘CLEANING AND
CARE’ section.
ASSEMBLING THE 18” HIGH
VELOCITY FAN
1. Turn the adjustment knobs (2) (9) counterclockwise to remove
them from the front and rear fan covers (5) (6) and fan blade
(4).
2. Press down the pin (12) on the right pipe (11) and insert the left
pipe (1) into the right pipe (11) until the pin (12) snaps into the
round hole (13).
3. Secure the metal fan head by inserting the left and right
adjustment knobs (2) (9) through the left and right pipes (1)
(11) and rubber grommets (3) (10) into the fan covers (5) (6).
4. Turn the adjustment knobs (2) (9) clockwise to secure in place.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
18” High Velocity Fan
1. Place the metal fan on a flat, dry and stable surface.
2. Make sure the rotary switch knob (7) is at the “0” (OFF)
position.
3. Connect the power cord to a 120 V/AC / 60 Hz wall outlet.
4. Adjust the metal fan vertically to the desired angle.
5. Adjust the metal fan speed by turning the rotary switch knob
(7) to the “1” (Low), “2” (Medium) or “3” (High) position.
6. Turn off the metal fan by switching the rotary switch knob (7)
to the “0” (OFF) position.
7. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when the fan is not
in use.
USB Desk Fan
1. Unwind the USB cable (19) attached to the personal fan.
2. Connect the personal fan to the power supply. You can do this
in two ways:
- Insert one end of the supplied USB cable (19) into a USB port
on your computer, or
- Insert one end of the supplied USB cable (19) into the
supplied power adapter, and then plug the power adapter
into a 120 V/AC / 60 Hz wall outlet.
3. To turn on the personal fan, switch the ON/OFF button (18) to

CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING: Make sure you have turned the appliance off and
unplugged it from the power supply.
• For the 18” metal fan, you can either
a) Use a vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air to clean
the appliance without dissembling it, and then use a dry
cloth to wipe it dry; or
b) Clean it by removing the front fan cover (5):
- Remove the 8 screws on the front fan cover (5) with a
magnetic-tipped screwdriver.
- Remove the front fan cover (5) by rotating it
counterclockwise to loosen the screws. The fan blade (4)
and rear fan cover (6) cannot be removed.
- After cleaning, replace the front fan cover (5) by rotating
it clockwise, and then tighten the screws.
- Wipe the fan blade (4) and the exterior with a damp
cloth and mild detergent solution. Allow them to dry
completely before using the appliance again.
• For the 4” USB fan:
a) Vacuum the fan without dissembling the personal fan grille
(15).
Note:
• Clean the fan on a regular basis.
• Never clean the fan with abrasive or volatile cleaners such as
alcohol, thinners and polishing powder.
• Do not allow water or any other liquids to get into the motor
housing.

Alimentation et charge

d’une fiche polarisée (une des lames est plus
large que l’autre). Pour réduire le risque de
choc électrique, cette fiche est conçue pour
être insérée dans une prise polarisée dans un
sens. Si la fiche ne s'insère pas complètement
dans la prise, inversez-la. Si elle ne s'adapte toujours pas,
contactez un électricien qualifié.
29. Ne tentez pas de modifier cette fiche ni de neutraliser sa
fonction de sécurité de quelque manière que ce soit.
30. Ne laissez pas le câble d'alimentation pendre du bord d’un
comptoir ou d’une table et ne le laissez pas toucher des
surfaces chaudes.
31. La fiche d’alimentation sert à débrancher l’appareil de
l’alimentation. Veuillez vous assurer que la fiche d'alimentation
est en état de marche.
32. La déconnexion de la prise d’alimentation est le seul moyen de
débrancher complètement l’appareil du secteur.
33. Déconnectez l’appareil du secteur en tirant sur la prise
d'alimentation. Ne tirez pas sur le câble.
34. Gardez le câble d'alimentation éloigné des surfaces chaudes.
Ne branchez pas le câble d'alimentation et ne faites pas

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE
UTILISATION
1. Déballez et retirez tous les matériaux d'emballage de l'appareil
et de ses accessoires.
2. Recherchez les éventuels dommages survenus pendant le
transport.
Si des pièces manquent ou sont endommagées, n'utilisez
pas l'appareil et retournez-le immédiatement à votre point de
vente.
3. Nettoyez l'appareil avant la première utilisation. Reportez-vous
à la section « NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN »

ASSEMBLAGE DU VENTILATEUR
18’’ À HAUTE VÉLOCITÉ
1. Tournez les boutons de réglage (2) (9) dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une montre pour retirer
les grilles avant et arrière (5) (6) et la pale de ventilation
(6).
2. Appuyez la goupille (12) sur le tuyau (11) et insérez le tuyau
gauche (1)
dans le tuyau droit (11) jusqu'à ce que la goupille (12)
s'enclenche dans l’orifice rond (13).
3. Fixez la tête du ventilateur en métal en insérant les boutons de
réglage des côtés gauche et droit
(2) (9) à travers les tuyaux gauche et droit (1) (11) et
les rondelles en caoutchouc (3) (10) dans les grilles du
ventilateur (5) (6).
4. Tournez les boutons de réglage (2) (9) dans le sens des
aiguilles d'une montre pour verrouiller la tête en place.
INSTRUCTIONS DE
FONCTIONNEMENT
Ventilateur 18’’ à haute vélocité
1. Placez le ventilateur en métal sur une surface plane, sèche et
stable.
2. Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur rotatif (7) est en position « 0 »
(ARRÊT).
3. Branchez le câble d'alimentation sur une prise murale 120 V /
CA / 60 Hz.
4. Réglez le ventilateur en métal verticalement sur l'angle
souhaité.
5. Réglez la vitesse du ventilateur en métal en tournant
l’interrupteur rotatif (7) sur la position «1» (Faible), «2»
(Moyenne) ou «3» (Forte).

6. Éteignez le ventilateur en métal en plaçant l’interrupteur rotatif
(7) sur la position “0” (ARRÊT).
7. Débranchez le câble d'alimentation de la prise murale lorsque
le ventilateur n'est pas utilisé.
Ventilateur de bureau USB
1. Déroulez le câble USB (19) connecté au ventilateur personnel.
2. Connectez le ventilateur personnel à l'alimentation. Vous
pouvez le faire de deux manières :
- Insérez une extrémité du câble USB fourni (19) dans un port
USB de votre ordinateur ou
- Insérez une extrémité du câble USB fourni (19) dans
l'adaptateur secteur fourni, puis branchez l'adaptateur dans
une prise murale 120 V / CA / 60 Hz.
3. Pour mettre le ventilateur personnel en marche, mettez le
boutonMARCHE / ARRÊT (18) sur I. Pour éteindre le ventilateur
personnel, mettez le bouton MARCHE / ARRÊT (18) sur Oet
débranchez l'adaptateur secteur.
