SAFETY INFORMATION
Read these safety instructions before using the fan for the first
time and store them in a safe place. They contain important
information on basic safety precautions that must be followed.
1. Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Using the
appliance for other purposes may cause a fire or electric shock.
2. Only connect the appliance to a mains socket that matches the
voltage specified on the appliance rating plate (120 V ~ 60 Hz).
3. This product is intended for household use only and not for
commercial, industrial or outdoor use.
4. To prevent the risk of an electrical shock, do not place the
appliance near a window where it may be exposed to rain.
Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or
any other liquids.
5. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and
by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years
of age and supervised by an adult.
6. Close supervision must be provided when the appliance and
remote control is used by or near children.

7. DANGER! CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD. KEEP USED AND
NEW BATTERIES OUT OF THE REACH OF BABIES AND
CHILDREN. Swallowing can cause severe internal burns and
even death in as little as 2 hours. If you suspect that a child
has swallowed a battery, or has inserted it into any part of
the body (such as nose and ears), go to a hospital emergency
room immediately.
8. WARNING! CHOKING HAZARD. Do not allow children
to change batteries without adult supervision. If the battery
compartment does not close properly, stop using the remote
control and keep it out of the reach of children.
9. Always dispose of used batteries immediately. Dispose of
batteries in compliance with your local laws and regulations.
10. WARNING! RISK OF EXPLOSION. Do not charge, reactivate,
disassemble, burn, bury or short-circuit the batteries.
11. WARNING! Only use this appliance after it has been
properly assembled.
12. WARNING! Avoid contact with moving parts. Never insert
fingers, pencils or other objects into the rotating fan blades
or any openings of the appliance, as this may cause an injury,
electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance. Keep hands,
hair, clothing, and jewelry away from the protective guards
during operation to prevent injury.
13. Use the appliance upright on a dry, level and hard surface.
14. Always ensure proper ventilation in the room when using the
appliance.
15. WARNING! Do not let the power cord hang over the edge
of a table or counter. Ensure that the power cord is not in a
position where it can be pulled by children or pets, or tripped
over.
16. CAUTION! To prevent the risk of fire, always keep the air
inlets and outlets of the appliance clear of obstructions. Do not
cover the appliance. Do not place the appliance directly against
the wall, or use it in close proximity to curtains, tablecloths, etc.

17. WARNING! Always unplug the appliance from the wall
socket:
- before assembling/disassembling any parts,
- before moving the appliance,
- before cleaning and storing, or
- when it is unattended.
18. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, grip the plug and
pull it from the wall outlet. Do not pull on the cord.
19. Do not use the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
20. Do not place the appliance or any parts near open flames, or
next to cooking or other heating appliances.
21. Never touch the appliance or plug with wet hands, as this may
cause an electric shock.

25. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer’s authorized service centre.
26. DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION! This appliance has no user-
serviceable parts. Never attempt to dismantle or repair the
appliance yourself. The warranty will not cover any claim for
damage due to mishandling.
27. WARNING! Never use a damaged appliance. Do not use
the appliance after it malfunctions, or has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. In case of malfunction or any damage,
unplug the appliance and contact an authorized service centre
for repairs.

POLARIZED PLUG
The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

Natural Mode or Sleep Mode. The indicator
light for the selected mode will turn on.
When Normal Mode is selected, the MODE
indicator lights are o.
• Normal Mode: The fan delivers a
constant flow of air at the speed
selected (Low/Medium/High/Turbo).
• Natural Mode : This mode simulates
a natural outdoor breeze. The flow of
air automatically fluctuates at varying
speeds close to the range of the
SPEED selected (Low/Medium/High).
• Sleep Mode : This mode simulates
a gentle night breeze. The air flow for
the selected SPEED (Low/Medium/
High) will follow Natural Mode, and
the SPEED will automatically decrease
one level every 30 minutes, and then
remain at the lowest SPEED (Low).

• TIMER: Press to set the Auto O Timer
and automatically turn the fan to
STANDBY MODE (stop) at a later time.
Press the button repeatedly to select
the desired time from 1 – 7 hours.
The indicator light(s) (1H/2H/4H) will
illuminate accordingly.
• CHILD LOCK: To lock the buttons
on the Control Panel (2), press and
hold the button for 3 seconds until
the indicator light next to the
icon illuminates. Press and hold for
3seconds again to unlock the buttons.
REMOTE CONTROL
• Before first use, pull out the battery insulating strip from the
battery compartment to start using the remote control. The
battery is included with the product.
• Replace the battery with the same or equivalent type of
battery.
Replacing the battery
• Hold the remote control with the back side facing up.
• On the bottom of the remote control, use your thumb (or a flat
screwdriver) to push and hold the small locking clip towards
the opposite corner of the clip. While still holding, pull the
groove on the battery compartment to slide it out (Fig. 1).
• Install a new battery (1 x CR2032 3V Lithium button battery)
with the + side facing up and close the battery compartment.

USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the fan upright on a dry, level and stable surface.
2. To adjust the height of the fan, hold the neck of the fan head
with one hand and press the height adjustment button (8) to
release the extension pole (4). Adjust the height to one of the
3positions. You will hear a “click” when the extension pole
snaps into position.
3. Plug the power cord firmly into a 120 V ~ 60 Hz wall outlet. The
fan will beep twice to indicate that it has entered STANDBY
MODE.
4. Press the POWER button to turn the fan ON.

5. Press the buttons on the Control Panel (2) or remote
control(12) to select the desired functions (see OVERVIEW OF
CONTROL BUTTONS). The indicator lights on the Control Panel
show the current status of the fan.
6. Once you have finished using the fan, press the POWER button
to turn the fan to STANDBY MODE (stop), and then unplug the
power cord from the wall socket.
INDICATOR LIGHTS – AUTO-DIMMING FUNCTION
The Control Panel has an Auto-dimming function that reduces the
brightness of the indicator lights 15 seconds after the last button is
pressed. Press any button again, the brightness will back to normal.
CAUTION! Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket
when it is not in use to disconnect it completely from the power
supply.
WARNING! Never adjust the height of the fan while the
appliance is on.
HOW TO USE
WARNING! Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from
the wall socket. Wait until the blades have come to a complete
stop.
WARNING! To avoid electrical hazards, never immerse the
appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquids. Never
rinse them under the tap or spray with liquids. Make sure water
does not get into the motor, control panel or electrical parts while
cleaning.
NOTE: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents,
wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the
appliance. Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner or alcohol to clean
the appliance.

• Clean the fan on a regular basis (every month or more often as
required). For optimal performance, make sure the fan is clean
at all times.
• General cleaning: To remove dirt and dust, wipe down the
exterior of the appliance with a soft cloth/sponge lightly
moistened with water or warm soapy water. Dry the appliance
completely after cleaning.
DISASSEMBLING THE FRONT GUARD AND FAN BLADES FOR
CLEANING
1. Unplug the fan and remove the safety screw from the bottom
of the front guard (1) with a screwdriver (Fig. 2).
2. Turn the front guard (1) anti-clockwise to unlock, and then pull
it out.
3. Turn the fan blade cap clockwise to remove it.
4. Pull the fan blades (3) to remove them from the motor shaft.
5. DO NOT disassemble the rear guard (7) and motor unit (9).
Only wipe the surfaces with a soft dry cloth, or a soft cloth
lightly moistened with water. Gently remove dust with a soft
dry toothbrush if necessary. Dry with a soft cloth and allow to
air dry completely.
6. After removing the front guard (1), fan blade cap, and fan
blades (3), rinse them under the tap, or clean them in warm
soapy water with a soft sponge/cloth. Dry thoroughly after
cleaning.
7. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling them.

mouillées, car cela pourrait provoquer un choc électrique.
22. DANGER D’ÉLECTROCUTION ! N'utilisez jamais cet appareil
