CAUTION:
●Professional installation recommended.
First Time Installation
●Remove parts from inside the package and
check. Contact your dealer if any parts are
missing or damaged.
●These instructions show type A crossbar
fitted. They also apply to type B, C and D.
●This kit fits type A, B, C and D.

●Use keys to remove covers.
●Use hex screwdriver to reverse adjusting
screw 10 turns.
●Press adjusting screw and pull crossbar
legs out. Refer to the crossbar instructions
for crossbar adjustment method.
●Ensure each end of the crossbar is
adjusted equally.

●Attaches to factory-fitted mounting points
●Please check the front of this manual for
information relating specifically to your
vehicle.
●Adjust crossbar in or out to suit vehicle.
Refer to the crossbar instructions for
crossbar adjustment.
●Tighten adjusting screw to 5 Nm (3.7 ft lb)
hand tight.
●Remove plastic clamp block by gripping bar
leg with fingers and push firmly with
thumbs until clamp block drops out behind
leg.

●Select plastic internal block (from fitting kit)
and insert into foot.
●Repeat for all legs.
Fitment
●There are 4 concealed mounting points
hidden by the vehicles rubber insert on the
roof.
●Measure from the front of the rubber insert
and make a mark at 355mm and 1245mm.
●From these 2 marks measure 25mm
forward and 25mm back and mark a line
across the rubber insert.
●Carefully lift the rubber insert by hand to
reveal the mounting points as shown, only
lift the minimum amount required to reveal
the mounting point.
●Note: Do not use sharp objects or tools to
lift the rubber moulding.
●Note: Take care when lifting the rubber
insert not to kink or bend it.
●Note: The mounting points are covered
with sealant.

●Now cut the rubber insert at the 2 lines you
marked in the earlier instruction. Once cut
you should end up with 4 x 50mm pieces of
the rubber insert.
●Note: Be careful of sharp edges after
cutting the rubber insert.
●Remove one side of adhesive tape
backing. Apply to underside of rubber
insert as shown. Remove second backing,
then apply downward pressure onto
vehicle.
●To reveal the screw thread in the mounting
points, remove the sealant covering them
with a sharp tool.

●Remove sealant as shown.
●Apply protective strip as shown.
Trim if required.
●Assemble as shown.
●A = 8mm bolt
B = Spring washer
C = Flat washer
D = Rubber seal
E = Protective strip
●Place rubber seal over bolt thread as
shown.
●Place the clamps into position as pictured
at the 4 points, ensure the clamp is
orientated the right way in the vehicle
channel.
●Using 5mm hex key supplied with this kit,
fully tighten the M8 dome head bolt and
washer supplied to 5Nm (3.7 ft lb) hand
tight.
