STEP 1: Insert one of the
Retainer Bungee with hooks
through top outer hole of the
riser so that once a knot is tied
it can be captured in the recess
of the front side of the riser.
STEP 2: Flip riser over. Tie a
single knot on the front side of
riser, leaving no more than ½” of
bungee behind the knot (knot
should fit inside the recess on
the front of the riser).
STEP 3: Repeat Step 1 & 2 for
the hole on the opposite side.
STEP 4: Finished riser with
bungee attached (orientation
showing the back of the Seat
Back Riser). The hooks will be
used during the installation of
the seat.
STEP 5: Locate the bungee
retention slot on the back,
lower portion of the Seat Back
(inside the recess and hidden
from direct view).
STEP 6: Loop the Riser Bungee
into the slot as shown, ensuring
that the bungee is retained in
the holes (view from top).
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 7: Pull the riser bungee
ends thru the top of the Seat
Back ensuring that the bungee
lengths are equal.

STEP 8: Before inserting the Ris-
er through the bottom of the Seat
Back, ensure that the ramped
web retention finger is protrud-
ing towards you and away from
the back of the seat back.
STEP 9: Insert the Retainer
Bungees with hooks through
the bottom of the Seat Back
and thru the large opening in
the back as shown. Some force
will be needed to push the web
retention finger thru the bottom.
STEP 10: Once the Riser is
snapped into the back of the
Back Rest, route the Riser
Bungee ends over the top of
the Riser and thru the bottom
of the Seat Back.
STEP 11: Pull the Riser bungee
tight, routing it thru the top hole
of the Riser base and tie a knot
to hold it in place.
STEP 12: Repeat this step for
the other end of the bungee.
STEP 13: Align the Double
Buckle Strap with the buckles
facing you just above the web
retention finger.
STEP 14: Slide the Double
Buckle Strap under the web
retention finger so that it is
centered and held in place.
STEP 15: Test seat operation
by ensuring the seat is under
tension and returns freely when
the Seat Back is lowered toward
the riser base.
STEP 16: Seatback assembly
complete. Refer to Phase 3
AirPro Seatback Installation
Instructions sheet to install the
seat assembly onto the kayak.
