If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water, unplug itfrom the wall outlet
immediately. Do not reach into the water.
Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug thecord. Do not use or attempt
to repair a malfunctioning appliance.
The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet.
Do not use this appliance in an unstable position.

Consuming raw or undercooked eggs may increase your risk offoodborneillness.
Thorough cooking is perhaps the most important step in making sure eggs are safe. Cook eggs until both
the yolk and the white are firm. Scrambled eggs should not be runny.
Foods containing eggs should be cooked to 160°F (72° C). Always use a food thermometer to test.
For recipes that call for raw or undercooked eggs, use pasteurized or fresh organic eggs.
NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. Iftheplug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON THE CORD
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) istobeprovided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled inortripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance;
2. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type3-wire cord; and
3. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
