•The circulation of aggressive liquids as well as the circulation of abrasive substances is to be
avoided.
•The motorised waste water pump needs to be protected from frost and dry-running.
•The pump must be supplied with a nominal fault current of no more than 30 mA via a residual
current circuit breaker (FI).
•This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical or
mental abilities or with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they be supervised and/or
instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
•Carefully read the instructions and the safety instructions. Keep this manual in a safe place so
that you can refer to it at any time.
•Always switch off the power supply at the power source before plugging the plug in or out. To
pull the plug out, do not pull on the power cable, but only on the plug itself.
•Switch off the devices and disconnect them from the power supply when they are not in use or
before they are maintained.
•Only use the device with an extension cable if this has been checked by a qualified technician.
•Always connect your device to a socket whose voltage matches the voltage marked on the
device (only AC).
•Never leave a device in operation unattended.
•Only use the device according to the intended use defined in this manual.
•Do not place a device on an ignited flame, an electric element, a heated oven, or near them.
Do not place it on another device.
•Never let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or come into contact with hot surfaces.
•Never use an electric device if its power cable or the device itself is damaged. If you think that
there is a damage, have the device repaired by a qualified person.
•Only use the device according to the intended use defined in this manual. Only use accessories
recommended by the manufacturer.
Resistance
•The immersible pump is suited for a circulation of water with a maximal temperature of 35 ℃.
•The pump must not be used to pump other liquids, especially fuels, cleaning agents, or other
chemical products.
Assembly
The pump is installed the following way:
•in stationary position with a fixed pipeline or
•in stationary position with a flexible pipe.
Note: The pump should never be installed in a safe-supporting manner, hanging on its pressure line or
the power cable.
•The submersible motor pump needs to be hung up by the appropriate handle or placed on the
floor of the shaft.
•To ensure the impeccable functioning of the pump, the shaft floor needs to be kept free of mud
and dirt of any kind.
•When the water level has sunk too low, the mud in the shaft dries fast and stops the pump from
starting. It is therefore necessary to regularly check the pump (by performing tests before oper-
ation).
•The float switch is adjusted to allow the pump to start immediately.
Note! The pump shaft should have a minimum size of 40×40×50 cm, so that the floater can move freely.
