Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. o minimize the risk of injury we urge that our cli-
ents take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation in-
structions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Safety use instructions
•Familiarize yourself with the use of the pump, its limitations and potential hazards.
•Make sure the power source meets the requirements of your device.
•Disconnect the pump from the power supply before maintenance work.
•Lower the pressure in the system before servicing any component.
•Drain the fluid from the system before servicing the pump.
•Secure the pressure line before starting the pump. n unsecured pressure line can kick
back and lead to injuries and / or property damage.
•Before each use, check the hose for wear and damage. Make sure all connections are se-
cure.
•Occasionally check the pump and system components. Keep the pump and the system free
from debris and foreign objects. Perform maintenance if necessary.
•Provide means of pressure relief on pumps, the pressure line of which can be blocked.
Personal safety
•lways wear protective goggles when working with or on the pump.
•Keep your work area clean, tidy and well lit. Store tools and accessories when they are not
needed.
•Keep bystanders away from your work area.
•Make your workplace child-proof by using padlocks and main switches and removing the
ignition key.
•When connecting an electrically driven pump, observe all electrical and safety regulations.
•The pump motor is equipped with an automatically resetting thermal protection and can
restart unexpectedly.
•Risk of electric shock: This device is designed for operation with 230 V only. To reduce the
risk of electric shock, make sure that the device is connected to a properly installed safety
plug.
•ll wiring should be done by a qualified electrician.
•Keep the power cord away from sharp objects, hot surfaces, oil and chemicals. void
kinking the cable. Replace or repair damaged or worn cables immediately.
•Use cables of sufficient size to minimize the voltage drop across the motor.
•Do not touch a running motor. Modern motors can develop high temperatures during
operation.

Additional precautions
Please have the following points checked by an expert before using the pump.
•Earth connection
•Neutral conductor
•Residual current circuit breakers must comply with the safety regulations of the power plants
and function properly.
•Protect the electrical connections from moisture.
•If there is a risk of flooding, put the electrical connections higher up.
•void the circulation of aggressive liquids and abrasives at all costs.
•Protect the pump from frost and from dry running.
•The pump must be supplied with a nominal fault current of a maximum of 30 m via a residual
current circuit breaker (FI).
•This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are
supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
•Read these instructions and the safety information carefully. Keep the instructions so that you
can refer to them at any time.
•lways switch off the power supply at the power source before inserting or removing the
mains plug. lways pull the device out of the socket by the plug, do not pull on the cable.
•Turn off devices and unplug them from the power source when not in use or before cleaning.
•Do not use your device with an extension cord unless the cord has been tested by a qualified
technician.

•Only use the pump as described in the instructions. Only use accessories recommended by
the manufacturer.
Longevity
•Your submersible pump is designed to circulate water with a maximum temperature of 35

•This pump must not be used for other liquids, especially for fuels, cleaning liquids or other
chemical products!
Installation
The pump is installed as follows:
1. In a fixed position with a fixed pipe or
2. In a fixed position with a flexible hose tube
Note: You should never install the pump by hanging it in a inclined manner on the discharge line or the
power cord.

•The submersible motor pump must be hung up on the handle provided or placed on the
bottom of the shaft.
•To ensure that the pump works properly, the bottom of the shaft must be kept free of sludge
and dirt of all kinds.
•If the water level drops too low, the sludge in the pit dries out quickly and prevents the
pump from starting. It is therefore necessary to check the pump regularly (by performing
commissioning tests).
•The float is set so that the pump can be started immediately.
Note! The shaft of the pump should have a minimum size of 40 × 40 × 50 cm so that the float can
move freely.
Mains supply
The pump is equipped with a standard Schuko plug. The pump is intended for connection to a 230 V ~
50 Hz safety socket. Make sure that the device is in perfect condition. Put the plug in the socket and
the pump is ready for use.
Important NO E!
If the main cable or the plug has been damaged by external influences, repairs to the cable are
prohibited. Repairs are to be carried out only by a qualified electrician.
Areas of application
This pump is mainly used as a basement pump. When installed in a pit, this pump offers protection
against flooding. It is also used wherever water has to be transported from one place to another, for
example at home, in agriculture, in horticulture, in plumbing work and much more.
Setting to work
fter you have read these instructions carefully, you can start up the pump. However, please note the
following things in advance:
•The pump sits at the bottom of the shaft.
•Make sure that the pressure line is properly connected.
•Check whether the electrical connection of 230 V and 50 Hz is available. ny fiber particles
that may have accumulated in the pump housing should be removed with a jet of water.
•Check that the socket outlet is in good condition.
•Make sure that the water and humidity never get to the main components.

•We recommend regular inspection and maintenance to ensure a long service life for the
devices and their trouble-free functioning.
Important instructions!
•Pull the power plug before all maintenance work.
•f the pump is to be transported frequently during operation, it should be cleaned with clear
water after each use.
•For stationary installation, the function of the float switch should be checked every 3
months.

•ny fiber particles that may have accumulated in the pump housing should be removed
with a jet of water.
•The serrated shaft should be cleaned of sludge every 3 months.
•Remove residues on the float with clear water.
Cleaning the impeller
If excessive debris builds up in the pump housing, disassemble the lower part of the pump as follows:
•Loosen the 4 screws from the underside of the inlet strainer.
•Remove the suction strainer from the pump housing.
•Clean the impeller with clear water.
•Important! Do not place the pump on the impeller.
•Reassemble the pump in reverse order.
Setting the on / off operating point
The activation and deactivation of the float switch can be set by adjusting the float switch and its
holder. Before starting the pump, check the following aspects:
•The float switch must be installed in such a way that the fill level of the deactivation point
and the fill level of the activation point can be reached easily and without much effort. To
check this, place the pump in a container filled with water, carefully lift the float switch by
hand, and then lower it again. Check whether the pump switches itself on or off.
•Make sure that the distance between the float switch head and the holder is not too small.

•When setting the float switch, be careful not to let it touch the base before the pump shuts
off. Attention! Danger of dry running!
